Title: YOBIT freezing withdrawls
Post by: Midas111 on September 02, 2017, 01:41:16 PM
Ive had a real problem with yobit not making withdrawls ie being left in process for days with no way to cancel and no response from support. Do not transfer from yobit unless you use eth. alt coin transfers are constantly held with no support. BAD YOBIT

Which cryptocurrency did you want to withdraw? ETH transfers are on many services and exchangers hanging because of high traffic or sth else. Maybe you are lucky, that this is the reason for the issue in your case. But poor support seems to be a big problem for yobit.
Best luck, that you can cash out.

He's saying you shouldn't withdraw ANY currency from their site but ETH, i think he is implying that is the only coin which is currently working.

Anyway, Yobit has been shady for a long time, but has never not paid me my coins..Although i am always extremely careful when i use them.

My withdraw was stuck once, but it was easily resolved after a ticket, ( this was some time ago though ), maybe PM them here on the forums?.

EDIT;

It seems that alot of people are currently having trouble withdrawing from yobit, you might want to open up a scam report to see if they respond to that?

For fiat I have faced the problem that they are sending the withdrawals too much late but in crypto I have not heard about that . In some cases I heard that they restrict some fraudulent attempts and in some cases I have heard that they have made many problems to the members and because of that they got a red trust a few months ago.

I have seen some freezes in currencies with yobit some times, but most time it does work good for me (although it is true that I tend to use only BTC, LTC and DOGE).

However, that is something that I have seen happening a lot with other exchanges too. It is not as if Yobit was worse than most in my experience.

Really? A few days back, I transferred some coins from YoBit. Never faced any issue. The withdrawal was processed in around 10 minutes. The only problem I had was with their high fee. I paid BTC0.0015 as fee for withdrawing BTC0.0480.

I also have no problems with withdrawing funds from this exchange. I heard that some of the wallets are carrying out technical work. But this does not prevent us from withdrawing funds in another currency

Not only you but a lot of paople already made the scam accusation to the yobit exchange site but it seems yobit just slowly to resolved the problem with the stuck on the user's withdrawals. I think it will take a long time for you to see the yobit will be fixed the problem.

Very worried, same as hitBTC. Some traders experience the same thing there. Eth delivery failed and HitBTC service did not respond well. I do not understand why exchangers like this can still do trading activities.

I'm also worried. HitBTC today freezes and BTC withdraws due "technical problem in BTC instastructure"...

Any real reason to do it? Did they do some internal margin tradings and lost some coins due the BTC fall in past 24 hours?

I don't use hitbtc actively, but I'll check now. I'm not surprised about yobit since they're a real scam exchange. I'm saying the same thing for poloniex as well. Whoever makes problems about withdrawals to its users should be considered as scam.

Hopefully, Bittrex dosn't get worse. They're good now.

Bittrex was freezing alot of wallets everyday in august. Yobit just froze the transfer or has a broken withdrawl system without warning the user. the nasty thing about bittrex wallets was everytime they would freeze a wallet on an alt the alt would crash. bittrex seems super shady but yobit does too.  only kraken seems to work well all the time. id give bittrex a one star rating and yobit a a one star rating. bittrex never broke btc 5k that i saw, bittrex also dropped the price of bitcoin cash much lower than other exchanges. prices on bittrex are sometimes 50pct lower than other exchanges like they are just crash and grab operation. bitcoin cash is one they had at  a massively lower rate in august, today you can see cann is almost 50pct lower than yobit price. bittrex seems like a place you shouldnt hold because they devalue coins more than other exchanges, but just a place to buy and move coins out of

Yobit is always one giant mess. How they have lasted this long is beyond me. I'd suggest only using credible exchanges from now on!

yes of course because yesterday on August 29, 2017 yobit experiencing liquefaction problem, which makes withdrawal 2 times. maybe this could be an improvement of the problem.

Yeah, yobit is known to do this sort of thing.

I don't know why people still use them. They aren't really any different to any other exchanges either, apart from the fact that they list a bunch of shitcoins that bring no real value to the crypto community. Their customer support is basically non-existent, coins are always in maintenance and never seems to get out of that mode, withdrawals are pending for ages...

Why do you think that using ethereum with yobit is safe though? Is there any proof to back this up?

this is how Yobit operates. they don't have much funds at their disposal to give you. specially if you are withdrawing altcoins. they usually don't even provide a wallet for them either (no deposits). and you will have no option to wait at least a week until your withdrawal is canceled and the funds come back.

Not surprising anymore with Yobit. They are famous on having the worst support ever on an exchange and I'm sure it would take ages or a miracle for them to answer your support ticket. This is why I don't really trade or use their site since I do experience problem with them regarding withdrawals.Even on ETH transfers its not an assurance that you would able to avoid problems.

YoBit has a lot of problems. Most of the coins are "under maintenance" almost every day.
