Title: Electrum stuck on synchronizing
Post by: linkster2121 on September 05, 2017, 06:45:26 PM
I'm using v 2.6.4 for windows. I've tried restarting numerous times and I've tried different servers. Nothing is working.

When I go to Blockchain.info with the address....this is what I see:
1LwsC93K1pWFFBhxXnhAB7y7xktj8nzjf - (Unspent)

The amount is for 0.15455627BTC

In Electrum, all I see is: Not Verified  and +0 under amount

although it should be 0.00388651BTC.

Any thoughts?

Try upgrading to v2.9.3 - https://electrum.org/#download

v2.6.4 is VERY old... and there have been a number of enhancements and bug fixes.

"Not Verified" usually indicates that your Electrum hasn't synced up properly. Do you have a green dot in the bottom right corner? or Blue arrows? or a Red dot?

Are you using some sort of firewall? Do check your firewall and see if electrum is allowed to receive incoming traffic and it should be allowed to send the out going traffic too. Looks like something is stopping electrum's traffic and do update to the latest version as hcp said.

Checking the version he do use is old and as being suggested downloading the latest one would be the first move to do and if red dot is still there then syncing does really have a problem and I did experience this.I do really bet 100% that firewall is the cause of this problem because it redirects the traffic needed to be sync. Why I'm sure? because I do experience this thing.
