Title: Are the stratum protocol specifications outdated?
Post by: Remember remember the 5th of November on May 25, 2013, 12:43:53 AM
I was looking at the cgminer code and saw this
Quote
      /* The protocol specifies that notify messages should be sent
       * every minute so if we fail to receive any for 90 seconds we
       * assume the connection has been dropped and treat this pool
       * as dead */

This wasn't mentioned in either http://mining.bitcoin.cz/stratum-mining or https://docs.google.com/document/d/17zHy1SUlhgtCMbypO8cHgpWH73V5iUQKk_0rWvMqSNs/edit?hl=en_US
So I am wondering if there is some updated version?
