My wallet constantly falling offline - 0 connections. About 20 hours it's offline permanently. And there was only 1 connection when it is online.
Other PoS wallets works fine.

Has somebody else the "problem" that the weight in the tooltip doesn't increase? With other coins the number increases over time and estimates how long until the next stake. Here, I am already 2 days on the same network weight. Anyone else with this behaviour?

Anyway looking for beta testers, (maybe tests something and) get the blockchain stuck is something which shouldn't happen. If it happens, a fast response that he is working on a solution or at least knows what's happend would have been great.

Berkely DB version warning
==========================

A warning for people using the *static binary* version of UKCoin on a Linux/UNIX-ish system (tl;dr: **Berkely DB databases are not forward compatible**).

The static binary version of UKCoin is linked against libdb 5.0 (see also `this Debian issue`_).

Now the nasty thing is that databases from 5.X are not compatible with 4.X.

If the globally installed development package of Berkely DB installed on your system is 5.X, any source you
build yourself will be linked against that. The first time you run with a 5.X version the database will be upgraded,
and 4.X cannot open the new format. This means that you cannot go back to the old statically linked version without
significant hassle!

Ubuntu 11.10 warning
====================

Ubuntu 11.10 has a package called 'qt-at-spi' installed by default.  At the time of writing, having that package
installed causes UKCoin-qt to crash intermittently.  The issue has been reported as `launchpad bug 857790`_, but
isn't yet fixed.

Until the bug is fixed, you can remove the qt-at-spi package to work around the problem, though this will presumably
disable screen reader functionality for Qt apps:

Are masternodes coming out for this coin?

I tried to build the wallet with the last commits on windows. But it didn't work. Either its because i'm not really a c++ specialist or because there is a bug.

I'm getting the following eroor when trying it on cmd:

And when i try it with Qt creator i get:

It look like the difficulty of pos rising so high, so blockchain is stuck.

I consult to people and someone suggest me to make the diff lower, he suggest me to inform all holder to close their ukc wallet.

You may struggle to sell your coins if the blockchain is stuck and your coins are not already on the exchange. I'm think of dumping my coins too, this is not looking good!

As said before, a dev  (not from this project) looked into it and said probably the difficutly raised to much. If everybody would close their wallet, it may get unstuck. That's the only thing we can do and wait. I am still positive that the dev will come back and explain everything. Don't forget people have real life and it's so easy to get trashed in this forums, I understand why some just try to fix errors without notice, even though I really don't like this approach at all!

Tried it under ubuntu 16.04 didn't get it to run. I guess the mismatch of the boost libraries, 1.55 and 1.58 are creating the error. I will try your windows suggestion too, but I am pretty sure I will run in a ton of dependency issues.

Edit: Yeah, running it under windows needs the same dependencies, but apt-get is buggy and if you install the libdb_cxx-5.3.so the command line dies with Chinese characters.

Check on the exchange that have the updated wallet.  Here you can find the peer. Novaexchange is the last line, coinexchange in the top-right (peers).
Just copy and paste the node into your *.conf file

I think coin exchange still has the same problem because my withdrawal is still stuck. I can try to get it on Linux running not before Friday, so I really for good news until then. Thank you for your help CenturionMiner. At least I think there is a little chance to get the coins back on the exchange to sell them now.

I sent my coins from nova to ukc but transaction not confirmed and wallet is always out of sync. Is there anyway to solve this situation you know of?

There have been a lot of attempts, as far as I know. Before compound coin was created (to switch for ukc), they tried to revive ukc.

I think you still have a problem, as soon as nobody uses POW, the chain doesn't move. So maybe think about giving a POW reward until fixing this error, so the coin can be used.

As you can read above, this is intended but it seems like the dev is thinking about enabling POW with rewards again. I hope he does it soonish.

Yep will do, looking to change the reward from 0 to 100 per block for miners. will report back when done.
