Really wonder where the bottom is for Bitcoin and Alcoin's. And what are the most promising which then drop shot. Anyone have any thoughts?

According to world coin cap previous high was at $110B. I think that would be strong support. Today it's already below this point - $107B. I think that we are already at the bottom or very close to it. Respectively to BTC it should not go below 3000$.

We are nowhere near the bottom yet.
BTC will return to $1000 at some point this year.

I don't expect to see bitcoin to return at $1000 ever in upcoming years. People are getting affected so much by current situation. I feel like market doesn't see bottom yes but bottom is going to be fixed around $2500 for a bitcoin. And market cap won't drop under 100 billion. Altcoins will be badly affected anyways.

The first thing i learn from my experienced is not to catch a falling knife, if we wanna know whether the price has reached the bottom or not then it needs more  time to stabilize the price, and when the market turn back upward, i think it will be the starts to indicate where the bottom is. And i'm not talking about hours here, i mean in daily longer time frame  ;D

It may touch  $2000. It will go down before going up. We will crash some more this weekend

Yeah... my forecast is 2000-2500 too. Don't panic and buy more at the dips ;)

I made a portion of my intended dip buys today! About 20% of my BTC now converted to alts that are now about 25% cheaper than they were just a few days ago. If it dips again, I will put in 30%. And if it dips yet again then it's all in for the remaining 50%. Then I just have to sit tight for a couple of months and look at the November fork. If that doesn't work out... then I wait for next year. All in all only 0.25 BTC anyway so nothing terrible to lose (I hope).

Now people know more or less what exactly is going to happen, so there is little room for panic sells. I think the bottom is here or near unless there are other news.

I thought the bottom is about $3000 and I think this is already a Dream Price. who thought we'd be correcting down to $3k friends? Buying party $2k-$3k

The bottom can be 2000-2500 with so intensive falling without positive news, deep and painful for holders correction, friends.

We are at the bottom. MY TA tells me that we will not see sub 2900 USD prices for sure. There could be a wild wick, but otherwise no plunges below that point.

Bitcoin might crash further, altcoins like ETH will rise to new heights. ETH will likely hit 0.5 btc very soon.

Interesting point of view but I think this is inaccurate. Because Bitcoin is the first mover and it really is crucial in the space.

You prior to express opinion should be thought first, it is on what basis bitcoin this year can go down to 1000 $ price?
For mere information that Bitcoin prices are going down right now because of Jpmorgan CEO's claims and regulation in china.

Good thing I keep a portion of alts in USDT, now I bought some BTC with 3000$. Good price, I will buy more if it dips more, even better price.

Actually, I did not intended to buy before 1 November, but oh well, such a nice price.

There is no a certain bottom, it depends on the importance of the news that causes market to crash. There are a lot of traders so the bottom might be lower than you think.

there is no bottom because you are generalizing them. but instead each of these have their own bottoms.

bitcoin's bottom was the $3000 resistance which is not done and it is over now. and price is testing the $4000 to rise above it now.

the bottom of each altcoin is also different. most of them should reach zero to really bottom out and die. but the big ones with lots of newbies investing in them will last long but will continue going down.
each can be studied and you can find the bottoms of them though.
