What's actually happening with bitcoin? Market is collapsing hugely.Is this the better time to buy or sell? And will it goes under 2000 or 1000? If so should we buy then? Suggestions would be helpful

i think it is neither. it is best to watch the market only. the direction is not at all clear. there should not be any more drop but yet there it is out of nowhere, whales dumping now since there is no more weak hands left to shake out anymore.

under 1000 is just not possible some irreparable damage needed to go that low!
below $2000 is also the same story in my opinion. there is no reason for that either. it is just Chinese regulating their exchanges more! this reason must not have even caused a drop this big.

You can buy if you want now, but i would advise you to wait for bitcoin to fall even harder, because you can make more money that way.  I think that bitcoin will fall very hard and that one of the altcoins will rise up and take over the place of bitcoin. So you can also invest in some altcoins. Lite coin for an example is the sleeping giant.

What you are telling is true that their may be more price drop in btc but what if it got support at 3000 level and bounce back, so if you are going to invest then buy little now and if their is more sell then buy some more that time which is good buying strategy.

You can start buying, but I don't think the bottom is reached yet. $3.000 dollar is in sight, a psychological barrier and may cause another drop.

In my opinion it's better to hold your money till 30 Sept, until that day we only need to watch and learn the bitcoin's graphic. Then after 30 Sept it's time to decide buy Bitcoin or buy altcoin

OP, if you are unsure on what to do and at what price to buy, just make a very low bid and do not worry about it. Like Sjonnebonbon01 said, $3000 is a psychological barrier. If that breaks, await all the "Bitcoin is dead" threads once again.

But I would not place my bids at $2500 - $2600. I would go lower to $2000 - $2300. The "Chinese Bitcoin Crisis" will not be over in a week. It will take a while until the PBOC has announced what their intentions are.

in case bitcoin goes down it will take ETH and LTC with it and they will drop even harder than bitcoin did percentage-wise. that has always been the case with these altcoins during bitcoin price drops. and the recover of said altcoins will not be as big enough to be worth the risk and trouble of investing in them unless you are already an altcoin trader.

i also vote for staying on the side with money in had and watching the price. if you buy and it goes lower you will definitely panic.

It will neither go $2000, much less $1000. Better start buying right now. It might go as down as $2700-$3000 and only up to that. Most probably, the bull run right after that will be fast and strong which would finally break $5000. I hope the FUDing will stop.

Selling now is too risky. However, this is the best time to buy although you don't have to buy all at once as you can still be lucky to have some further dips with some cash left to buy at that point.

Yes just believe in the coin that you have been bought but make sure you spend enough time to research the coin project so that you have a good view in the coin in the future that it will give you a good profit.

I have one question for you too. Are you satisfied when you are about to sell your bitcoin now? If you are satisfied with it, sell without hesitation. But if you are not satisfied then just hold until the price gets back again at $4,000. I don't think it will go under $2,000 but it's possible to see the price of bitcoin at $2,800. If you have some spare money, buy.

altough the chances are allways there, how do you come up with 90% of btc owners selling their btc to fiat because that exchange closes? you just make something up there, altough your general thinking of price drop isnt that unrealistic but stating these things as a fact makes you really not that believable

Onlky if you are going to purchase NOW with fiat currencies. Elseway, you probably are holding bags right now and it'd make no difference in your target btv value. I had a target of 10btc in the coming 3-4 years and now this has changed nothing for me, because all my "real" money was already in btc and I can't buy more. I'm just waiting for this crisis to pass by... which for sure it will. No worries :)

in my opinion,  you should buy now before its too late or the value of bitcoin will rise again in next day or a week. and  iwoudnt recomend to sell now the value is pretty low compared to some other days better we should wait and watch the movements of the bitcoin market.

If this is true we can exspect the bearish influence originating from these chinese tradesite closures to last up until 10/31 and according to former crashes a halving of $5000 is likely. Bottoming out a solid floor takes perhaps the same timespan on top.

We do not know what is really happening but I think china has a part of this bitcoin dropping. If I were in you position I will buy bitcoin when the price reaches below $1500. We don't need to get panic just because bitcoin value is dropping but use this as an opportunity to buy bitcoin at lowest price then sell it when the price of bitcoin pumps again. So don't panic it's just part of the price of bitcoin.

I think it's best to watch out the trend of the btc price. Wait until tomorrow. Wait until the price shifts from down to up (I mean, the turning point of dropping and immediate rise). Those days i notice that bitcoin do opposite way than before, from normal into too much expensive but this day i shocked because i expect that bitcoin can rise and rise but i was dissappointed because the price will be cheaper again but the price will be temporary only because if they solve problem about china, bitcoin can be back to normal.

Its a sad situation It really is, but I would yet recommended you to buy on dips, don't buy the whole coin as, it's difficult to say what would happen next but I am postive that in long run it shall rise again, so this is a good accumulation period, now we need to wait and see how and when does China news ends for good. It is like saying either to cut the losses or hold. It would be crucial to buy or sell hence we need to monitor what will the market's response over this coming days. I think its better to buy now because the price is low as 3200 usd. When the price comesback to the original as high as 4500usd instant 1000+ usd income which is very good. I do not think bitcoin will fall even harder. It has always been this way. As a matter of fact, bitcoin is decreasing and I know it had a sharp fall, but it will not go down any longer. Reaching 4000 was a great achievement for bitcoin to be honest. People should start to buy bitcoin for now because I believe it will rise again, and when it rises, it will prosper.

We must still consider all the factors that can affect our decisions. Some will say that this is the best to time to buy Bitcoin, others would hold their remaining coins and some will sell it. Is it really the best time to buy? Considering that fact that china's issues towards cryptocurrencies and the CEO of JP Morgan publicly state that this industry is a fraud? These are quite some factors to be evaluated, not all drops are an advantage to us Bitcoiners. This sudden drops maybe a way to warn us for an upcoming big surprise that is beyond our control. Bitcoin has its own way to get back on its track but the assurance of it is indefinite.

I'm not trying to be a pessimist, this is just being practical. I do have faith in Bitcoin but Faith without proper information or knowledge that will back it up is just like going to war with a gun but w/o an ammo. Though, on the brighter side of this dilemma. So far as I see the trend of Bitcoin it went up from $3,500+ to $ 3,788 as of today though it's still fluctuating. Bitcoin raised back from its low 2960$ yesterday to $3748 today. But it's still lower than the last high of above $5000, so there is still room. I would say buy now, even if there is a chance for BTC to fall again. Long term it will reach $10.000 or more and wil probably not come back to these levels for a very long time (or never). And when it falls back to lower levels you can still buy more BTC.

Bitcoin is now having some issue and it did affect its value and i guess china closing all exchanger and stopping all ICOs is the cause, and for me i doubt it will go below $2000 so now i think it is a good time to buy bitcoins because it will surely rise soon.

This is a bit late, but still applicable to the current situation. One rule with me, is that I will never sell my bitcoin for a loss, and right now I am just holding.

If you have some spare money I would recommend you buy some bitcoin. This is one of the last chances to get some cheap bitcoin. After this whole China situation calms down a bit, I reckon bitcoin will go up back to around 4.5k USD or so.

I am really pushing on holding bitcoins for the mean time, I think we should just observe and wait for more. This is still a good time to buy bitcoins right now, while the pice is recovering. It would have been better if you bought when the price dipped a week ago when the China news was released. If you already have coins and do not want to buy, I still suggest you hold on to them as they might still go up at the end of the year.

For me,if you can buy bitcoin now just buy it and sell it higher to have a profit. But you need to study the marketing of bitcoin to profit more not less. Because you need to be active on the market to know what time you will buy , hold and sell your bitcoins. :)

See mate you have to be stronger enough in such situation and consider holding your bitcoins rather than selling them. I will even suggest you to take it as opportunity and buy more coins if you have the money. Always consider "major fall" in the bitcoin as temporary one because that's just outcome of some mega moves around the world for example, china banning the ICO or segwit taking place etc. These events are once in while and they don't really affect the bitcoins presence completely. They will just make the crowd more panicked and due to which they start selling of the coins resulting in the dropped prices. I think if you will invest, you should buy now because the price of bitcoin that is low is only temporary like other scenarios and it will be back again in months so its better if you buy now.

Best buying is when most scary. That was week ago.  Now is in middle so buy is only if you have money not bought in already. Or if you have all buy in already, okay time to sell some to get back to middle.

As they say patience is virtue.  Long term investment gives a huge income or profit.  If I achieved or reached the amount I aim, I will sell some of my stored bicoin.  I will just continue to earn and all the excess amount on my target will be sold and spend in things I needed and wanted.

I was also thinking to wait for it to go back down, as the first time talk I had about BTC was a month ago and then it was roughly over 3000$ (which I considered already to be expensive). So I thought to wait until it would go back to that price... But now I changed my mind. I believe it is going to keep increasing in the next time, so it is a good idea to buy, no matter what fraction of it. What you can afford to lose (just in case). What you are comfortable with. And then, in a couple of months or so, sell to get back what you first invested (just in case).

I think its time to sell rather than buying or you have to wait little more nobody can predict now exactly what's gonna happen in coming days. Market is unbelievable sky rocketing in the last week to till today. I was not expecting such a huge rally and to buy Btc put your orders around 5000$. I don't think so market will drop to 1000$-2000$ level & definately this is a not a buying point at the moment if it will reverse aggressively you will repent on buying btc So its better to wait.

Don't buy at all time highs even though it may be tempting to do so. Buy in the dip when you think it is going to go to the floor. You have to take emotions out of it if you want to make gains over the long term.

I believe that the sudden rise is not the organic growth of Bitcoin and hence I am expecting a correction of at least 20% to 30% within next two months. However, it will perform very well in the long run so if you can hold it for the long term then it would be a good decision in my opinion. However, I do not recommend purchasing at this point considering the short term gains due to the possibility of the price correction.

i think we can do both. in a process way that we can earn more than the profit you spent. if we buy we loose some but as we know bitcoin price is unpredictable .what if it rises unexpectedly and that time you sell it .in that way you really do a great job

In my opinion, you should buy or just hold your bitcoin if you don’t need money. Bitcoin price is still increasing, in this pass days and for sure it will increase. But if you need a money just sell you bitcoin. If not try to invest your bitcoin, to earn more bitcoin or money.
