I feel more concentrate doing anything including my career and society.
More than that, i start meditate in 2014 everyday (specially in nite time) what happen then? i got big loop in my business in 2015.
Cause when we meditate, we deep down in our subsconcious re-program it, threw away any bad things like anger, hate, etc.
Re-program our mind to do any Positive Mindset. Believe it or not i feel in my life benefit of meditate.
Beside that we can feel more relax after we doing job in full day.
So suggest all of you try meditate with some expert, cause meditate something we cannot learn by our self, first we need mentor,
Who already can meditate perfectly. When meditate play some relax soft music.

It clears mind from all anxiety and worries. This was mostly the problem of the people. How to focus and relax and forget problems.even for a moment. Meditation also improves human minds on how to think clear. To meditate does not only calms down our mind but it also clears and detoxify our body from stress and pain.

Well i did vipassana for 10 days
everyone gets diffrent benefits
i think i became more patient and started to think before i do something or say something
they say that you need to keep doing that if you want to make a real change
but i feel like it realy changed me, even tho it was only for 10 days

There are a lot of people that I know and famous people that are using meditation to calm them. But I think that the most influence of meditation is that it can refocus our mind and set us into a peaceful and calm state that we can use to function more efficiently.

I am pushed to ask how can one even meditate in the current world, There is a lot of things that's worrying people to the extent that they don't have the peace of mind to even think about their decisions how much more meditate.Meditation doesn't do nothing and its akin to alcohol it makes you forget your problems for only short time.

I haven't tried meditation before. But, I think meditation gives people peace of mind, relieves stress, makes you calm, and a good brain exercise. I haven't tried it because I'm the type of person who gets bored easily. Imagine sitting and concentrating for a long time. I think that most people do it to keep their mind calm and stress free.

This is a very complex science. Many years they learn to do this. But, who has learned to remove stress in this way, they probably get great pleasure from meditations

    Well in my personal opinion of the benefits of mediation, it will relax your mind, it will gives you a positive energy. it will give you a peace of mind, it will circulate your blood normaly, it makes you calm, and mediation can also be a stress reliever . Sometimes you need to meditate to clear all of your negative thoughts and replave it with a postive thoughts that can help you to face all of your struggles in life.

I never heard that with the help of meditation you can put in order the hormonal background. Meditation excellent relaxes the mind, but about the hormonal background, I doubt it.

when I was searching for method and procedure or tutorial on how to meditate, I have read some benefits by doing meditation . it says that it can improve your Immune System, can Improve your Concentration, it lowers high blood pressure etc. I haven't tried this yet as there is no place where I can do it without any distraction but I think you can surely get these benefits from doing meditation .

i was in India last year and there were so many old people all over the place and so i did a small survey and realized that they meditate, in japan its called Yoga, in Africa its called incarntation and napping i guess. It helps you stay healthy

Indeed, after regular meditations I have become more calm and I am not afflicted by minor troubles. I started to see new solutions that make my life better.

I've stopped meditating but I've been practising it for a few months before I've stopped and let me tell you, it really does help. At that time I've never been that relaxed or focused, takes the anxiety away. Would highly suggest to anyone, because even 15mins of meditation daily will help greatly.

I haven't tried meditation myself but i have been recommended by several people to try it.
I believe that it would be similar to taking a break and looking out into wildlife or nature.
Our minds need to comprehend and process every detail or piece of information we have obtained throughout the day and thats just what it is.

I'm suffering from anxiety and panic attacks. Wheb meditating, my free mind only increases the anxiety.
I know I'm doing it wrong but I can't keep my mind free.

Meditation gives concentration, if you concentrated with someone, you can be the best out of all because concentration makes you think twice as a normal one that didnt concentrate.

I've tried this in the past. it never really worked for me. I followed instructions that you are suppose to only concentrate on one thing for example washing the dishes but I just couldn't get into the meditation state. Any tips?

I have experienced meditation. And I have never felt free and relaxed by meditating. Meditation helps us free oir minds from all the stress in the outside world. Meditation helps us find our inner peace and maintain it whilst meditating. Meditation and yoga have to be the two most undervalued health benefits on this planet! I have started using meditiation while doing yoga and I can say I havent felt lighter, more energetic, and happier in a long time. Not

to mention my back, shoulders, and hips are all working much better than before! If you want to stay limber your whole life you must apply this to your daily routine. Sooo goood I love it !!  :-*

Also, it actually helps me fall asleep.meditate as usual just be in bed, I've always had trouble falling asleep and it usually took me 10min of laying and rolling around before but now I just try to meditate in bed, tho I don't practice meditation during the day no more. :d

Pretty incredible, today I've been trying hard to keep a clear mind, and meditated for around 15 minutes. So I've been trying to notice the benefits. I would say I feel a little more aware. And at one point I got extremely irritated due to an internet order that has taken over a month, pure anger, but better handled. I'm trying very hard to keep a clear mind.

With regard to the OP, meditation has been proven to reduce stress and increase concentration, personally I find it to be a little too relaxing and end up falling asleep half the time which is not too beneficial.

This is so true. It simply will not work if not done regularly. And it is very difficult to develop a regular routine as so many of us have overactive minds when we make the decision to start meditating.

But with practice and discipline the benefits are amazing! I've found it to help my interactions with people in both business and social life. It has also helped me reduce my anger by about 70%. Also in stressful situations it makes you more calm and more apt to use your logical mind as opposed to reacting to your emotions. It has strong benefit when it comes to emotional control (which really helps with trading!).

First time when I tryed it I didn't feel anything special. But with more and more practice I've got much more concentration. I can focus longer on certain topics, learn faster and actually I feel much better after everty practice. It's better to do in the morning before breakfast.

Meditation is not a state of being so away that one is unconscious of the environment. I believe meditation is a form of commune within the inner being with a focus to attain to something.
Focused visualisation happens during meditation. (I have read about coaches or managers telling their subjects to practice this)
Breeding of positive thoughts which can positively affect the body happens during meditation. Inner peace can be created during meditation.
I personally am not there yet. If there is one of the few arts I would like to master, one majorly is meditation.
Beside, the Holy Book I believe also admonishes on meditating on noble things.

I want to tell you about my experience with meditation,i started only few months ago i was very interested because my partner has  started to meditation many years ago and he found a lot of benefits,for example he is more relaxed an less angry.For me is different,i felt less relax than him and i sow my body as in the air,like a ghost,was very strange.So i think that the benefits are very personal and ,the most important things,you have to meditate often.Not one per month.

What are the most amazing benefits of mediation ?

It depends on our way of meditation. Me and my family meditates through prayer and bible reading. Through meditaion, we'll have the peace of mind that we cannot find anywhere but just within ourselves. Meditation should be practice very often to avoid negative thoughts in our minds
What religion do you belong to? And how much time do you "meditate" every day?

Meditation is more than peace of mind. Although it was the goal of meditation but the side effect to the body is much better. Monks are known for meditation, they can even live without eating for months just through meditation and water. They can also harden their body and even sharp knife can't pierce them. First secret of good meditation is to avoid forcing the stream of thought. It's like a river.
Just like sleep, originally scientists thought meditation was like switching off the brain, instead they found the brain activity increase especially in prefrontal cortex, that's where our most complex thoughts are located.

Meditation is like turning the brain in a diagnostic phase, neural connections reorganize and thinking improve subsequently. Once, I was of the opinion meditation was a lost of time...today I changed completely ideas  :)

What are the most amazing benefits of mediation ?

I have heard a lot of good things about meditation but what strikes me the most is that meditation slows aging, mentally and physically. I would probably try meditating one of these days.

exercise, relieves and combats stress. I always wondered how to meditate just like those Tibetan
monks, they are amazing and they seem to live with the positivity that meditation brings out in each
and everyone in them. Spiritual experience may be associated with meditation, It's different with
everybody, it must be a challenge to bring oneself to that peaceful and spiritual state. It's also

I am not sure whether mediation may result in all these benefits, as you have mentioned in your post. But one thing is sure, yoga may be much better than pure meditation for physical as well as mental health. But it needs to be seen how acceptable is yoga to the western nations, as it is having a strong association with Hinduism.

Meditation helped me sort my thought into my mind, and set a proper scale of importance for them.

I did it in a bouddhist center for 3 months.

Every year I take a break and meditate for 10 days straight.

The breakdown: 14 hours meditation in noble silence, 3 hours break/eat then 7 hours sleep.

Also practicing vegan and no physical contact.  :D

I've known of people thay do meditate and they say that it is beneficial. For one thing it relaxes you. After a work out or a very anxious situation it relaxes you down. Next is it calms you. After a very stressful day, it calms you down and actually destresses you of what happened for the day.  Next is it clears your mind. A clear mind gives you a new perspective and a problem you couldn't solve becomes easier to find a solution for. Lastly, meditation is a form of looking unto one's self. It solidifies your veiw of yourself therfore understanding your self in the process.

I don't know. I have tried meditation and yoga a few times to relieve my stress. It was not very effective, and each time I stopped doing it after a few days. The company of my friends gave me a big relief from the stress. They were more effective than any form of meditation.

About the meditation, it took me tons of times, before I finally got to a point where meditation got really interesting, and worth doing only because I am curious of what will happen, what will I feel, where will my mind be after I am finished. What are the most amazing benefits of mediation ?

To relieve stress , it's like a way to communicate with God , to have peace on mind , to relax , to pray , there are many benefits of meditation , I once tried this , and in the end i cried , because to many problems in life it heals me though. Always learn to meditate, and then do it on a quite place , inhale and exhale , empty your mind.

I have tried meditation in the past (as a part of the Yoga exercise). I practiced it for almost a month before giving up. I was forced to gave it up, because I couldn't find spare time. Even then I'd say that it helped me to calm and refresh my mind and body.

Meditation reduces stress and anxiety in general.concentration  Meditation increases in areas of the brain involved in learning and memory, regulating emotions,people sense of self, and having perspective.

Meditation clears our mind of extraneous garbage thoughts and negative feelings, as rain cleans the air of harmful emissions and dust. It clarifies thinking. We begin to feel "here and now" and can see our life situation from the side after meditation.

I adore meditating. It is very relaxing mind and body ..In our modern world, we spend very little time on communication with ourselves .. We do not know what we really want. Meditation helps us understand our desires and get rid of problems. :D

Practing meditation over and over can literally change the structure of our brain so that we are able to experience more positive emotion.
