I've never used KingofSports as an escrow, but in my dealings with him he's always been a straight forward good dude.

+1

KingofSports is smooth as silk in trading. I would work with him anytime! KoS is grindabit approved and WoT and all that good stuff. Solid trade. Thanks KoS.

KingofSports has done numerous escrows on SWC.

I have witnessed and done one with him myself.

Never a hitch. Everyone is happy.

But seems I was only one that left him tip.

Give me my tip back!  ;D

Serious side note. He has a solid reputation on SWC.

Cheers!

may be a scammer who made the account recently using names he found on Seals to make himself look legit

he told me in seals chat to leave a comment cause he escrowed for me. i believe it to be the same person

If you see me in Seals chat, ask me to give you a link to my reputation thread here on bitcointalk. It will be this same one. I am not an imposter, I am the same "KingofSports" that plays on SealswithClubs. Understand the concern though.

edit: This is just my guess, I have not traded with him and may be totally wrong. I am just some random guy on the internet, use your own judgement.

my main reason for suspicion explained in this post (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=217447.msg2448748#msg2448748) where his bitcoin address shows up on a shady russian site selling fake BFL ASCII miners, but who knows, maybe it means nothing at all, I am just pointing it out & hopefully am WRONG.

This dude has been here a month and is accusing me of being a scammer. How about you go and post on every person's rep thread saying they could be a scammer since you've never done business with them? All I have EVER tried to do on this site is buy BTC to bet on sports with, it has been a profitable hobby for me. Find someone who says I have scammed them with proof, I'll pay them double back. To be honest I'm quite pissed off. Here is my response to your "claim": I preordered a jalapeno awhile back (still yet to receive it) and listed it on ebay awhile back. I ended the auction early when there were no bids as I realized it would be pointless to sell it there because if it never came I would have to pay the buyer out of pocket. I don't know how it ended up on a russian site, no idea there.

Also I have ALWAYS SAID I am OPEN TO USING ESCROW. If I EVER say I will not use escrow please post it here and I will leave the site permanently.

To clarify there was a random number bot and we played 1 to 100, the game was simply higher or lower then previous number, guess correctly 5 times in a row win 10x bet, he lost on 3rd number haha. It was a fun game while it lasted.

Scammer

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=244843.0
This guy is the biggest troll ever. I have never scammed anyone and he is claiming with NO EVIDENCE that I scammed for a mere $60-$75 worth and hes not even the person who got scammed supposedly. Its honest entertaining, just yesterday I bought 4 BTC with a moneypak I did not have yet, and was sent first to by graven29 on sealswithclubs. Hes sent first over 10 BTC to me and always has gotten paid. Well yesterday wasn't any different, sent him a $313 moneypak code within 60 minutes. I continue to be amused by this allegation of his, it truly is funny. To anyone who see his post, I AM ALWAYS OPEN TO USING ESCROW FOR MY DEALS. Haven't ever said otherwise.

Like I said before, 0 evidence. In that thread you will see that I skyped with the user and did screenshare. I did not believe the photos of the person with the amazon code so I asked to skype with them to REPEAT the conversation with the chat agent on Amazon. When they asked the new agent they said the code was redeemed by blazeout419@gmail.com. I truly thought at this point the willingness and cooperation of the person who sent the code was being honest here. Meanwhile the person who sent the BTC wanted me to refund them within 5 mins of it, trying to rush me thru the escrow. This is why I at first sided with the code seller after he cooperated and I skyped with using screenshare. HOWEVER, it became evident that either user could have created the amazon account under the email blazeout419@gmail.com so there was no evidence for either party. Thus, I had no choice but to release the escrowed amount to the person with the higher trust rating/history. I will not be escrowing on here EVER again after this one. This was an escrow for a WHOPPPING 1.3 BTC, like cmon now people.

I have escrows for more then 5 BTC done without ever any trouble totaling well over 20 BTC, all my comments on my username on seals can be seen at sealsdeals.info, the site's WOT. go to Web of Trust and look up "kingofsports". Currently a trust rating of 3967 with over 30+ comments of my buying selling and escrowing on the site are there. I've been sent first as much as 7 or 8 coins, i forget the amount and always have paid as agreed.

Let me post some of the exact comments just to further prove my case here (on seals 1000 chips = 1 BTC):

Just an aside note, the fact that someone has made a successful transaction with another person doesn't necessarily mean they couldn't be a scammer.  The most successful scammers usually work by building up trust by not scamming most or all for a long period.  So if someone scams you when you have dealings with them they are obviously a scammer, but the reverse is not always the case.

Looks like king of sports is a deadbeat scammer. Someone in seals thread said owes 2 bitcoins king was in seals lobby I told him about it said he didn't owe anyone anything. Person in seals thread said he contacted king of sports on just dice and king told him he wasn't paying back didn't care. Welcome to the circle of bitcoin deadbeat scumbags king of sports .

Btw for any people who  have doubts this is the real king of sports. He asked me to vouch for him in this thread a while back on seals with clubs poker and as he was reputable then I did. That's how scammers do have string of successful transactions until they turn rouge like king of sports did.

I'm still just confused why he's taking this approach for 2 BTCs when clearly he's been dealing with much more than that on several occasions... seems like we're missing something in this story???

eaglesfan1: hi, this is kingofsports.
eaglesfan1: lol i stopped gambling and ruined my rep on purpose.
eaglesfan1: i couldve scammed for $500+ if i had wanted to but i defaulted on a loan of 2 coins to ruin my rep but not get chased after basically.
eaglesfan1: at the time that was $250

eaglesfan1: i stopped gambling but i do need to get $500 worth of BTC to invest in bitcoinsports.eu invest option.

eaglesfan1: heres actually what happened n i have no remorse honestly, fucking rigged site. depo 2 coins into casinobitco.in, owed bigbitz 2 btc as agreed to put on a bet, we agreed i would pay him 2.01 BTC SO
eaglesfan1: i then tried to win .01 in blackjack
eaglesfan1: i lost 2 coins going after that .01
eaglesfan1: so yeah i quit gambling that night n am done. thats the risk with gambling loans, many default sorry bigbitz.
eaglesfan1: u wanted 2.01 and i went for the .01 interest u just HAD to have.

eaglesfan1: kingofsports aint broke.
eaglesfan1: kingofsports defaulted on 2 btc loan and ruined his rep but he sure isnt broke lol
eaglesfan1: i just dont feel the need for rep anymore.

eaglesfan1: 9 losses in a row in blackjack yeah i dewfault on 2 btc
eaglesfan1: going after .01 TO PAY THE DAMN .01 INTEREST
eaglesfan1: so yeah 9 losses in a row i aint paying lol

eaglesfan1: yup said fuck my rep fuck gambling and quit

eaglesfan1: i didnt scam per say i defaulted.
eaglesfan1: theres a difference.
eaglesfan1: scam would be i buy/sell and scam them
eaglesfan1: I NEVER scammed.
eaglesfan1: LOL in a court of law i actually would 100% win the case.
eaglesfan1: bigbitz agreed to lend me 2 BTC for 2.01 BTC and i rec'd 4 btc.
eaglesfan1: i sent him 2 btc and he claimed he sent the other 2 but theres no proof of that.
eaglesfan1: 2 btc came from his main address
eaglesfan1: 2 btc came from another address
eaglesfan1: i asked for bigbitz to sign a message from the address that sent the other 2
eaglesfan1: he could not
eaglesfan1: so yeah he prob sent it, but not 100%.
eaglesfan1: i consider it $250 paid for my escrow, sales and help of everyone here for the couple months i gambled heavily this summer.

eaglesfan1: cDO LOOK AT MY HISTORY THOUGH PLEASE WHEN IT COMES TO BUYING AND SELLING I NEVER SCAMMED :)

eaglesfan1: lol whatever, i have my $10,000 and am doing well with investing it and not gambling anymore.
eaglesfan1: im investing in the sites u fools gamble at ;)
eaglesfan1: heres a funny thing too, one of the things im doing is being a bookie on campus.
eaglesfan1: accepting up to $100 at normal juice on any major US sport game, so far 19 guys used me got 5 regulars (at least $200 volume a week)

Really lame, KOS. First you try to justify stealing from him by saying you lost it while trying to get the interest by being a degen. THAT IS YOUR FAULT. If he gives you a loan, you must pay him interest, YOU are the one being a degen, not him. Then you KNOW that this is WRONG so instead you justify it by saying "he sent it with his other address so it's ok to steal". Or "it's ok to steal cuz I helped some other people." Just no.. you are being a terrible person and you must be able to know that, don't even try to justify it.

I owe nothing to anyone. Just thought Id clarify this. Also eaglesfan 1 is not me, when I need BTC for investments I go to coinbase instant buy. I gladly do not gamble anymore luckily just invest in some of the gambling sites around. Friend controls those accounts for my benefit. Hope all is well with everyone and I would advise anyone who gambles to stop now.

Just fyi, the only chat I've been in recently was IRC where I went by "fishyfishy". Not that that matters.

You owe me 2BTC. So that's nonsense. You know you owe me it as you logged in from your UMD Campus computer to tell me that you had no intention of paying it back.

And the scammer finally scams.

I told you this guy was a POS from the start. Maybe now I will call up his campus about Ian's thievery online. Also going to go plaster his name on other forums so when he goes to get a job the employers will see hes involved in scams crossed the internet.

He claims that he is not Ian. Which I am unsure :)

He logged in to IRC from his UMD.edu Wireless connection so at least Ian goes to School there as well and Ian has a Facebook which links to Bitcoin and UMD.edu

I'd really just like my 2BTC that KoS scammed from me though  ::)

Please do not let this go unresolved, the bitcoin community needs to show scammers are in the wrong place. You already got good info from him, from that you can possibly get much more. The amount is small enough that the scammer should seriously considering paying it back and move on with his life.

I can provide contact details (email/phone/address) for KingOfSports for a 0.1BTC fee - PM me.
I've done some detective work to find out who he is.. I was a victim of his scamming ways on SealsWithClubs as well

user Imardern = KingOfSports
I've seen him pull of scams using both accounts

At anytime Bigbitz can ask for $275 in BTC (the value of the 2 extra BTC +10% to get this over with, he later sent me at the time by accident before my hospital visit) and I will pay it. I am not a scammer and bigbitz refuses to own up to his mistake, not mine.

I have offered that to him many times. If I was a scammer he would be offered $0. Don't say you know everything when you don't know the situation that happened well over a year ago and that thread sure as hell doesn't bring to light to entirety of what happened or the truth (a lot of that chat he posted was revised and not the original).
