Was just wondering who or what will process transactions once all Bitcoins are mined. Will nodes do this and we trust that people will do this without an incentive, or will there be one? Thanks! It will not stop just because the last Bitcoin was mined. Even without referencing sources it has been answered a couple of times before in other fora. But there is currently the DOGECOIN model wherein we can add more to the current supply if the community wishes it. Title: Re: How will transactions be processed once all Bitcoins have been mined? Since miners will mine transaction fees. Wich isnt bad. It means that Bitcoin miner will not lose their mining jobs. Title: Re: How will transactions be processed once all Bitcoins have been mined? Post by: dlorah111 on September 23, 2017, 06:34:12 AM I don 't think miners fee will be that high. But there will be a lot more transactions filling up those blocks, where the miners get paid of.
