Online shopping site is more pratical than we went to the store.
There are various payment media like Bitcoin [Not all site/store using bitcoin payment method] , Credit Card , Wire Bank Transfer and other payment method.  8)
I would like to ask do you think about a more secure payment , more secure Bitcoin payment or Credit Card payment method ?  ::)

For me the safest way to do the payment when i was the buyer is using payment point(paypal,neteller and else) because it is reversible,
when you are surfing on internet you will find a ton of phising websites and also ton of phising emails.
that is why for the buyer or payment point holder,the safest way to use is a reversible money or something like that.
but for the seller the safest way to do the payment is using Bitcoin because it is irreversible and hardly to detect.
a lot of fraud can be happen when they are using a reversible payment point to pay the product and else,
you can find a lot of cases about this kind of problem,and the seller will get nothing in return and even loss their product.

as a merchant obviously bitcoin is much safer and more convenient for you.
when using Credit cards and other money transfer methods, there will always be risks of charge back, fraud (like using a stolen credit card or fake transaction,...),... but with bitcoin there is no issue. when you receive the payment and it gets confirmed there is no way to reverse it, there is no way to scam.

but for the users, it is a big harder to trust. because when using money transfer methods they have charge back so in case the merchant was not honest they can get their money back and that doesn't exist in bitcoin. but at the same time, merchants are usually reputable. for example you buy from a website that has been around and working for year, the chances of not being satisfied with their service and not getting a response are dim.

In the means of privacy, i think bitcoin is more secure than credit cards.
When you accept credit card payments,you are able to view customer's information and the description of items which they have bought.
Bitcoin doesn't reveal any private information as it is still anonymous.
Bitcoin is almost more secure and instantaneous way to pay than any other payment method but you can choose both for a website.

bitcoin is much secure than credit card. however as others says its irreversible, if you made a transaction is all done and there is NO refund.

However credit card is much popular in terms of online shopping so you better stick with it.

Bitcoin is always better than then the current payment methode because it is more easy to make transaction and faster

it is depend on money you will pay if you choose bitcoin for high number you need to pay high fee to make exchange fast so that cards better otherwise bitcoin better

It's bitcoin all the way, credit card is vulnerable of money stealing, if you save your client's credit card data (well i guess it's actually unnecessary), once the database is leaked, all of the data will be stolen, big chance your clients' money will stolen or their data will be sold in the deepweb. with bitcoin, once you've received the bitcoin in your address, your transaction is done, and there's nothing to worry about. you just need to use quality payment gateway for bitcoin.

Bitcoin payments are more secure than reversible credit card transactions, lately carding have been bigger problem for merchants who accept usual debit/credit card for payment. Also credit card transactions can be reversed upto 180 days so if you are accepting credit card payments you can't be sure that what you have received will be credited to your account or not.

* Bitcoin payments are non-reversible.
* Bitcoin's price can grow higher with time.
* There is no downtime in bitcoin network like with POS systems.
* No sophisticated machine is needed to start accepting bitcoin payments.

Bitcoin is far better than credit card payments for both users and merchants.

I guess it depends on what you are searching for, and what your definition of security is. For me, and from a merely "usable" criteria, I consider BTC to be much more safer. There is no credit card number to be stolen etc, so if you own your private keys, only you can have access and make transactions from your bitcoin wallet. So I guess from that point of view, BTC is more secure (I wont even talk about privacy here, that is of course important when it comes to security).
For me, the only problems with the use of BTC, are the sites that offer the service itself. You are in a higher risk of being scammed, specially because the transactions are irreversible, so once you spent your coins, it will be almost impossible to get them back if the merchant is not honest. When using Paypal, or neteller, or even Visa, if things go wrong, there is a good chance that you can get your money back (I already got "saved" a few times using Paypal, and when things went wrong I got my money back).

Bitcoin was about the privacy to protect the user's data, And i was seeing a lot of the people has tried to steal the credit card. If you have even heard about the carder.
If we can handle our bitcoin in the right way and that will be hundred percent safe rather than use the creditcard. In conclusion the bitcoin was more secure than use the creditcard.

What you will get with bitcoin as merchant?
- No setup fee and no service fee.
- You don't need to buy anything, your phone will be your machine to accept bitcoin.
- You can wait for 1 confirmation rather than months of verification from banks with card payments.
- You can anonymously use accepted bitcoins anywhere you like or you can also save huge taxes.

Now you can decide yourself.  ;)

Bitcoin is more secure for payment,
No need fill own data like card pin, mm/yy.
Payment with BTC is very anonymous.
Only need wait confirmation of payment it can take long time..

Now that some online website do accepts bitcoin as payment, I really think it is much more secure if you use Bitcoin payment method than using your credit card. The risk is less when you are using bitcoin.

I prefer to use bitcoin. I think bitcoin has a much better security level. we only have to send a certain amount of fee to the specified wallet address. while credit cards in my opinion quite vulnerable because it can be accessed anywhere without any security. while bitcoin has private key, f2A and also introduction of IP address when we access bitcoin wallet that we have.

For now BTC is purely based on trust because it is not reversible. When you send it it´s done. Credit card , paypal or other methods being reversible will enable you to add some protection for your transaction even if you don´t know whom you are buying from...

I think bitcoin is far more secure since CC still able be stolen or somehow being dropped on the street meanwhile if you want to stole bitcoin, you need to crack down their SHA and super complex private.
Bitcoin also provide faster and cheaper fee compare CC

It should be obvious, but both can be equally secure if implemented correctly. As a trader, it is better to give your potential customers the biggest selection of payment methods possible. You can go the difficult route and try to implement all the security methods yourself, or rely on an exchange platform to secure it for you.

For the shop owner bitcoin is unlike more secure because transactions are irreversible.

For the buyer credit cards are more secure because you can make chargebacks.

Your POS machine can get down for whole day and it might also reject cards numerous times when trying to accept payments from your clients.
While with bitcoin they can pay in few seconds and you can receive it in your mobile wallet. Which you can exchange with some local trading platform for fiat.

Accepting bitcoin is the good option along with credit card payments.

If am a buyer , I would only do debit or credit card payment because the seller is unknown to me and anything can happen, but when we talk abt security on both the sides ,btc is secured, because databases storing the cards at the sellers end can be hacked and that would be another story...

yeah good option payment method than credit card , because more safe , hope in future all site using added a bitcoin payment method for more safe payment platform.  8)

yeah , because if u buy something from online webstore , your Credit Card data was saved on their database , if someone hacked their site , he maybe can using ur CC for a fraud payment and your balance was stolen.
on payment fee , i will prefer bitcoin because more cheap.
and one , bitcoin payment method can directly send , and no need verifycation because on blockchain or other wallet , its most safely because using various methods encrypted database  ::)

Bitcoin payment is 100% more secure than a credit card as that gets stolen all the time, but with BTC you can know for sure everything is safe and verified because of the Blockchain.

Yes, this is one disadvantage of using your credit card for payment. If the POS is down you can't do anything but to wait. Another major one is in the case of hackers stealing the Credit Card information of all the user. We have heard it numerous times in the past so its not a good thing to always used your card for every transaction on the web. Of course there is a paper trail which for me is a big concern as well. - Privacy. On the other hand, bitcoin provides pseudo-anonymity, and do know that this is what we like about bitcoin. So for me, the website should offer both Credit Card and Bitcoin as mode of payment and its up to the user which way they chooses.

I would use bitcoin payment because I have seen some cases when their credit card have been use by other people and they are not aware of it. If you use bitcoin, they cannot access your wallet if they don't have your private key and it would be more secure if you have 2FA applied to it. There are many phishing sites and if we are not careful then the information in credit card would be easily access by those phishers.

Depends on what side you want take. For customers. I think Bitcoin as a mode of payment is the best since it's fast(depends on fee). Also it's secure because the customer is anonimous and unable to trace the user and don't have to issue any ID to identify you. For sellers, the best mode of payment to them is thru traditional payment. Credit cards, cash or remittance is what they prefer because it's secure for both sides. It's for them to accept bitcoin since it's very volatile in nature. That's why we rarely see shops that accept bitcoin.

BTC transactions are slower than CC, cannot be charged back and not as widely used as CC.

CC transactions are much faster, can be charged back and almost everyone has a CC.

In terms of security, you can always recover CC funds that are stolen a thief, but if someone hacks into your BTC wallet and steals your BTC, then there's nothing that can be done to recover them.

Each option has its own set of positives and negatives.

Credit cards were prone to hackers also they will find a way to trace your card and buys in online shops,  same thing goes in btc when not fully taking cared on especially when encoded in an fishing sites.

Both are secured but i preferred to use bitcoin because if you're going to use the credit card it will reflect to their system as credit which will incur interest unleast if you will pay the bank immediately which is another transaction need to be made unlike paying directly using our bitcoin, no interest fee will incur and a one payment transaction which is a hassle free transaction.

I think bitcoin is more secure than credit card because its method can be transacted without any asking for customer service its still anonymous when we transact it while in credit card there's always a risk for some charges they add on your bill when SOA give it to you.Bitcoin can make easier transaction and its safer for all customers like us.

I have to say that; Credit cards are more suitable for payment, because the time came with the 3D security system. Spending technology did not develop much because bitcoin was used for trade purposes only. I think this is the fault of the users like us.

Bitcoin is safer and can also be cheaper for the merchant. There are cases under which major credit card providers will not provide their services to certain merchants and they'll have to create high risk merchant accounts which charge very high fees to merchants, which is a cost the customer ends up carrying as well. Bitcoin is more convenient in that regard but offers no customer protection.

I would also say Credit Card is still secure and easy to use compared to Bitcoin for older generations. But yes technical faults does happen in Credit Card systems, and till date I haven't seen any issues. Only issue with Bitcoin is its time, other than that I would say Bitcoin method will be better for newer generations and even older as well if they can use it.
About the security system, both are getting enhanced, so for both the system security issue is going down if the owner is careful enough.

For faster transaction and legal transaction in your city and around the location. You can check the payment delay some time happens in bitcoin and eth transaction that is also happens because of the block size exceeding. However, bitcoin take max 40 minutes to reach the destination wallet in any location whether the concern wallet is near to you or anywhere.
