Pretty sure there's some technical jargon they will give you if you go on their website or contact them, but if you think of it from a common sense point of view, they are a public company with publicly names individuals. Why would they risk going to jail and their reputation when they could instead work hard and make legitimate hardware wallets? They are already doing very well, constantly sold out and getting additional funding. It makes no sense for them to have a backdoor.

What is the better? ledger or trezor?

They are both great but personally I prefer the Ledger as I like the team, their support and they are cheaper too :)

I have just ordered a new ledger, lets see how it works, but i have only read good things about it! It is very secure, and I don't think they would copy or store your private key. someone would already found that out!

Dont worry ledger is a very safe device to use and to protect your bitcoins and altcoins. the company will not store any keys from you.

Lets put it this way. It is one of the safest things you can get, but its not safe if you dont follow the required steps to keep it safe  :)

It is not safe, rather it is the safest one. A safe wallet could be one that is official wallet of the coin used on a air gapped computer but this is difficult to set up.

I read several times that the software and applications around the Ledger wallets are buggy. A lot of bug.
I don't know if this is security issues but for me, the doubt about the quality of all the product (hardware and software) is not permit.
By the way, you have to use Chrome and Chrome has his security issues...

You won't know unless you are making the hardwallets your self. Hardwallets from 3rd parties aren't a safe option in holding coins.

i read about this many times then i get one idea on that. you try to use official wallet it is keep your coins more safe. so you have to search once coinbase, bittrex and electreum those all are good and secure web sites. i think paper wallet also gives you more secure so try once it. in google search once and which wallet had highest rating that one you have to choose and use.

Ledger is the safest physical wall we can use right now, unfortunately there are not many options. I also use a Ledger to keep my coins. It is important to apply all the security credentials while using the Ledger, and we also need to take all kinds of security precautions in our computer. Other than that, I can make a paper wallet, but I am not sure where to store the paper.
