Title: Network Propagation Declined From 12% to 0%
Post by: Razick on May 31, 2013, 01:59:57 PM
Yesterday morning I sent a transaction, but it is not propagating through the network, in fact, it's declining. This is a problem I've been having with transactions from the Android wallet lately.

It was at 12% at one point and a large pool (I forget which one) had heard about it, but now it is at 0%. Any ideas?

are you unable to read?
Code:
Warning! this transaction is a double spend of 75609966. You should be extremely careful when trusting any transactions to/from this sender.

Sigh, geeks and their freindly helpfulness.  ::)

Yes I can read, that was an intentional double spend that my client indicated had not been transmitted. It went through after I made the post (or at least it took my client until about 30 minutes ago when I reset the blockchain to realize it had been confirmed since I see it has 33 confirms.)

Not everyone is an idiot fine sir.

most likely explanation: network propagation statistic is really buggy (like with all blockchain.info "features"). I recently sent a 0-fee transaction with NFTF patch and it achieved 95%+ network propagation. A few minutes later, it magically dropped to only 1 node.

Yea, I've had that happen quite a bit. I think my transaction was probably just in the fee-less que and the statistic was wrong.
