i believe in religion. i also believe the line above. Do you?
i think it is important to see the life from different perspectives.

for example, 2 killers are caught from 2 different places for their crime.  suppose,the first killer killed 1000000 people
(like, adolf hitler) and the  2nd one killed only 1 human being.


after the judgement it is decided that they both should be hanged/killed/poisoned.It will be their punishment.
but, think carefully, they are both convicted and got the same judgement.

But, we cannot kill the 1st person for 1000000 times for every death. this is our limitations but it is not for the GOD.

I dont think there is anything there. Also note I am not religious so this is the basis for my reasoning. If I cannot see it or know about it, I believe it ceases to exist.

according to my logic, there is no life after this, but pulling out if we have a life guidance of religion I believe the next life there after this :D

You have killed millions of lives during your lifetime and every other life form that exists has done so too.
We kill to eat, that is in our nature and in the nature of every being on this planet.
We have formed a set of morals in our heads because it is more productive for us to avoid fights and murder, we advance more without fighting among ourselves.
I would like to believe there is a God, I can't deny I pray when I'm in need, and I know I'm a hypocrite for it, but my brain tell me there is no God, it's only my emotions that would like that there is one, but my emotions would also like it for there to be one lambo in my driveway too..
What is the difference between us and other life forms? What makes our lives a sin to stop but not those of animals? We have decided who is an animal who is not.

Life after death as presented in religious scripts doesn't exist.

i dont think that there is a life after death just like the bible say. i can justify because i never dies.

I believe there's no life after we die, already mention on bible after we died God will take us with Him living on Heaven. We don't need working or anything like on earth. But if we has many sins we will live in hell. I believe God gave us chance to fix what sins already done.  Even i'm not religious man, i believe in God. Something we cannot see or even touch it, but everytime we breathe we feel God blessing.

I'm not religious, but I'm studying books on the rebirth of the soul and I can say that after the death of each person another life awaits with new trials.

Soul is really a arguable topic. Body is just the organic frame.
And rebirth, I don't remember of any of my pre-birth.

Killing is killing, it does not matter if it's just one or if it's thousands or hundreds. Because it is stated in the ten commandments that should not kill. That itself explains everything about killing. Someone should not kill, but there are circumstances in life that you will be forced to kill someone or rather accidentally kill someone because of self defense, but as long as you repent from your sins and change your life, you will really know that there is life after death and that is Heaven and Hell.

It is not clear there are an another life after die but people want to believe it because people dont want to except only one life so all relagions says there is other life but i dont except still yet there is life after die or not.

I want to believe that there is. That whatever we do in this lifetime, all the sacrifices and the hardships we had to endure for becoming good people, i want to believe that there's something beyond waiting for us. Its comforting to think about though we can't be so sure.

There probably is another life after death. But not for the dead ones. Except for zombies of course.

Nope. As someone who believes in science, I have to say that there is no scientific basis behind such an idea. Life after death is an idea propagated by some religions, so that they could scare the people and convert them to their religion. For example, a few Christians have told me that I will go to hell, if I don't become a Christian. I replied them that I don't believe in the concept of hell and nothing will happen to us once we die.

I don't believe in religions. My grandmother said that the world where we live is heaven and hell. She advised me not living this world while thinking after life. Therefore I follow advice and I live in this world as there is no another life after death. I also advise people living like my grandmother.  :)

None of us can claim to have life after death, because according to the faith of each person, there are different thoughts about life after death, Catholicism thinks after death, we go to heaven or go to hell, so it is difficult to make a precise argument because no one dares to test this theory.

Of course there is,  if there's no life after death, where's the different good and bad people?? we must be responsible for all the things we do. you cant expect no life after death, because if that really happens the matter is  there will be no justice for those who do good and do bad. isnt about the faith, its about a logic. u doing good, u will get a price for it. if u doing bad, u get a punishmant for it. ifn't got it in life, u'll got it in life after death.

I can't answer that and I think nobody can. Those stories that you hear are just folklores or religious belief and no one has ever proven it to the world.

Yes,  i think.  The life of being dead.  Where you remember nothing about your past life and will be living in a place you won't even know where. It is hard to know actually since i remember nothing about my past life.  So i am not really sure.  I maybe reborn after i die but no one might have known me on that era.

I am religious and I believe there is something somewhere far away after we die, but also I have some doubts sometimes - What if I die and there is eternal nothing? Many people have their own opinions about this matter cause there are many religions. 70 percent of people believe in life after death, but they have also divided cause life after death can mean life on astral plane or life in a physical world. Life after death exists for sure cause then all this would be for nothing.

I think there is life after death that is called internal life as you mention God give us life and we take us on heaven. So i think that is a second life for us to those who believe in HIM have internal life.

no one can really know what the answer to that question is but i do believe in reincarnation.  our soul/spirit will continue rather it be in this dimension or ascension to a higher vibration reality dependent on how we live our life here.

Despite what many religions say(those are most likely just complex coping mechanisms), death is likely just like it was before you were born.  Nothing.

Think of our "soul" as a light bulb with a permanet on switch.  When we're born it gets turned on and at some point it breaks and gets turned off.  That light wasn't anywhere before and it doesn't go anywhere after.  The conditions that allowed it to be generated broke down and it's no longer possible to exist.  The human ego makes this scenario difficult for most to accept.  We believe ourselves to be so special, when really we're just slowly rotting meat like every other living thing on this world.

I think that having life in the next life will depend on each other's faith, however, from the past, we have always believed there will be a future birth for us to start again, but there is no evidence. This is because the evidence is not clear. Scientists are still trying to find out if there is life after death, it may take a long time to figure out the answer.

yes I believe in the existence of life after death, it is like what God taught me and according to what is described in the holy book of my religion.

Based on my logic, there is life after death, whether to have a religion or not, I can see clearly that there is life after death. Just acknowledge that there is a God, you cannot say that there is no life. With God who gave us life in this world, He can also give life after this chapter of our life. For me this journey in this world is just a small part of our journey on the other side. Our life here will determine whether were will we go after this life.

Sorry - I do not believe there is life after death.  From ashes to ashes and dust to dust.  Your born - you breath - you die - that is it. But some of the science fiction movies - where some ones memories are copied from one person and copied into the brain of some one else might one day become a reality.  So it may be possible to live in several different bodies for an extra long life.  But you still technically only have one life.  But at that point you  are also a murderer as you will have to kill the memory of the previous owner of the body you wish to inhabit.

Universe came from notingness to life. Death concept is also the end of man's journey here on earth meaning the state of his nothingness but the birth of his new spiritual beginning.

I don't think there is life after death and don't believe in reincarnation until evidence is provided then I simply can't believe it as science at the moment is leaning towards no life after death.

Based on my religion there is life after we die, and I strongly believe in it. The existence of life after death by promising heaven and hell as our stopover, yet we have to weigh our sins and rewards for life. The promise of heaven and hell is so that those who do good continue to do good and who want to maksiaksi feel afraid to sin because of fear of hell.

When I was young, I used to think that after death, we will all go to heaven. However, upon growing up, I learned about different types of religion. So, I got confused whether we'll go to heaven, get resurrected or turn into nothingness.

I am not sure how to answer your question. But I do believe that the most logical explanation for this is the concept of reincarnation. Maybe if we die, we all don't exist anymore until our soul transcends to another living being. It is just my theory though, for me this concept which is reincarnation is the best explanation to life after death.

I always thought and I still think that when death comes my body and organs will shut down, but I don't see how can my existance stop. I'm not saying I want to die, but I won't be that much frightened when the day comes.

The bible says that there is life after death,  and it will be eternal along with God.  However,  I really don't know.  I believe that after death,  all my memories will also be gone.  And so,  even if I live again I won't remember anything about my past life.  I don't have to worry or think about it.  All I just have to do is live in my present as I look forward to my future taking the learnings from my past.

Certainly, there is life after death.We are not living in the stone age.Those days people did not believe that there is life after death although the Lord Buddha had preached about it thousand years ago. Today some people tell about their past lives. when some people becomes hypnotic according to psychology they reveal all the things about their past births.Soul is a separate thing. when we die it floats away and waits till it finds another body of a being. That new birth will be decided according to the things we do(sins and meritorious deeds). That means our next birth depends on karma. Although we human give the same death penalty to the person who killed 10000000 persons and to the person who killed 1 person, karma punishes both of them in two ways. Both good and bad things we do always go with us even after our death. We cannot escape.If we do good things we can be born as gods, or humans. If we do bad things we are born in hell,or as animals. Well, so we are not talking about life after death but rather the consequences of actions in life after death. If we are going to talk about what God will to us will be a lengthy topic. But in essence, we don't know how God decides, of we do then we are Gods ourselves. Reading the Bible will give us a glimpse of what's going to happen.

I believe that there is life after death. And that is an everlasting life with the Lord, our Creator or forever engulfed in flames and pain in Hell. Although I cannot give any physical proof besides the Bible, this is my faith.

Actually, it is believed in different religion that there are various ways that we could go after this life. In Hinduism, they believe that we will be resurrected. In, Christian / Catholic, it is believed that we could either go to heaven or hell. In Islam, there's chance that we could be live with Allah in his home. There are lots of beliefs and none is certain until we reach that stage.

I think that this forum is better off without discussion about religion, ethics and politics. Thats why I wont share my opinion on this topic. I think thats something everyone should decide on their own and leave it on the inside. Its a free world.

They say there is.  But still no proof of it.  Some say that after they die,  they were born again or reincarnated but then again,  there were still no proof.  Some say that there were eternal life after death but then again,  why do we have to die tp relive again an eternal life? I am not a religious man, but I suppose that something must exist after death. At least this thought calms me down a lot.

It is indeed comforting to know that you won't just simply vanish to thin air and you won't remember that you existed. I believe in after life, whether it is because I believe in God or the thought itself comforts me, I don't know. I also want to believe in reincarnation, the thought itself is quite interesting and thrilling. Meeting people in past life and then meeting them again in the future is quite romantic.

I believe there will be. Even though me as a person is unsure, but I believe in my faith. What they are keep on telling us about life after death. That is why they want us to do good things that are according to our God so that after death we are with our Almighty God.

Yes there is, it is already written in the bible. There is an eternal life for those who believes in God and who lived life in the will of God. There is also hell for those who lived life in a worldly way. A life full of sins and wiithout any repentance. If you believe in God, you would believe that there is life after death but it you don't believe , then it is for you to know.

I think there is life after death because I believe in creationism and in God. We will be judged based on how we lived our lives on earth. I truly believe that there must be some kind of reward waiting for those who have done good in their lives. Suppose its not true, I would not gain anything as well as for non-believers. But if it were true, none-believers would still not  gain anything but possible punishment for their sins, while I on the other hand, have a chance to live another life with the Lord, that is, if I am worthy enough.

But i dont think that there will be another life, it is just another dream story created for giving us hope, and seriously, i dont think that it really exists.

I am a Buddhist. I believe there will be another life after death. Reincarnation is real, if you have seen the film on the matter then you will also understand the problem. The problem is the same as the law of cause and effect. If you work well then in the future you will get some help, if you do bad things you will get bad things in the future. For me,  i do believe that there is a life after death.  This life would be our next chapter,  we do not feel pain i guess,  we only feel happiness because we are this world right now that we experiencing the most painful feelings.  So i guess it would be our best life.  As i read some books it says "we can not remember our memory of our human body,  because only our soul making our body,  but body can not make soul". We do reincarnate, but we can not gain our memory that time when we are already know what is the world.  Reincarnated with new identity, new details in our life. Yh. There will be life after death to examine what you did on earth during your stay here. People do wicked things and there is nothing anybody can do to them on earth here. This is a matter of personal belief, but as a christian I believe there is something
waiting for each and every one of us after death. Eternal life to the ones that believe
in god and practice the teachings of the holy scripture and maybe to those who did wrong,

I believe in my faith to God and in afterlife in Heaven or in Hell. Whether you go in a sea of fire where agony, pain and suffering is much experienced or in Heaven with the Father where there's no more suffering. 

It is not for us to understand how God will judge others for the things we do in this earth. It is however for us to trust Him in His judgement. More to the point, there is life after death.
