Title: Help me please! :( Post by: master92 on September 29, 2017, 02:14:59 PM Greetings, siblings of the forum, could you help me? I have an antminer s4 and a few days ago began to have a strange behavior, I do not know if this is normal or due to something else, I light it up, it starts loading and starts to mine at 2000 ghs, normal, however, there are moments in the ones that are "frozen" and the green bulb next to the led that is normally intermittent stays fixed and after a few minutes the antminer will restart itself, go back to shit, start to mine and at some point freeze again, the fan slow down and restart again, now my question is, is this normal? Does it have any type of cycle and why it restarts? or is it due to something else? it is important to note that I spend a full month working full stop (I bought it 1 month ago) if I remember correctly I did not restart it at the factory, I do not know if it is this, or do I have to update the firmware? currently has this
System Miner Type Antminer S4 AntMiner hostname Model GNU / Linux Hardware Version 3.4.3.0 Kernel Version Linux 3.8.13 # 22 SMP Tue Dec 2 15:26:11 CST 2014 File System Version Thu Jan 29 20:48:50 CST 2015 Cgminer Version 4.8.0 (restart times may vary sometimes by an hour or 30 minutes by mining before restarting) I have uncovered it and I was watching, the controller or network card (I'm not sure) has two green LEDs that are kept intermittent while it is mining, when it freezes, one of these LEDs stays fixed and the other one flashes, until it restarts , it should be noted that when it is frozen it is impossible to access by the ip address to the miner's system, if someone could help me, I would be very grateful of heart, remember that before restarting it to the factory state on the screen, above the ip address showed a kind of serial or mac address, had letters and numbers, after having reset it shows "Antminer S4", a little crazy or at least for me that I start in this world, grateful in advance for your help! ;D ;D Title: Re: Help me please! :( Post by: master92 on September 29, 2017, 03:50:46 PM In the "monitor" section I notice that it shows these two lines of error when it starts

so those text walls become: Code: Mem: 82164K used, 428388K free, 0K shrd, 2208K buff, 41996K cached Aside from that, make sure all fans are running and check the PSU to make sure it is putting out 12-12.3vdc. Title: Re: Help me please! :( Post by: Meech on September 29, 2017, 05:12:19 PM Psu connections to start, network next and make sure your pool info is correct - that would cause a reboot. You can save the default software then update it from Bitmain.
