Litecoin looking good, new wallet is impressive, they doing the right things. unfortunlty I think it will always move according to btc price fluctuations.

There is no good reason. Litecoin doesn't offer anything new, and it failed to achieve one of its main goals (ASIC resistance).

The vast majority of people who buy Litecoin lose bitcoins in the long run.

I am holding and lending litecoin. I think it will follow bitcoin. had a good rise this year.

because litecoin is good coin, good community, good price, good volume transaction
and litecoin price if down price not hard and not bad down price, so if youre hold litecoin is safe youre money, because if down price not much

Litecoin has a very large community and active devs - both are very important for a crypto project.
Litecoin is also the "playground" for upcoming bitcoin technology. (Lightning Networks for example).

Although Litecoin doesn't offer anything new in terms of specification, it has a good community and now that Charlie Lee is back updates are happening quicker and hype is up. I don't have any at the moment, maybe if they drop a bit.

Litecoin is always one of most attractive altcoins for long-term investors. Soon after bitcoin price become more stable, lots of investors will invest in Litecoin. The price will increase very much.

why are you still questioning things that are obviously obviously beneficial.
what you are doing is very true, because litecoin suffered a good progress.

Improvements are required to keep secure, relevant and generally improve. I would be more worried if no updates were happening.

Litecoin is a good investment though it may not be on the top but the coin has great potential. Over the past days, litecoin has been doing a great job and this coin is good for long term investment. Though its value may not be as high as some of the leading coins but it will still definitely give you some profit.

Litecoin will at least climb back to where it was few weeks ago ($70-$80) in the next month. Price was declining from the China ban even though it doesn't directly affect Litecoin (Bitcoin has already recovered).

Not bad and good enough to invest on litecoin i guess, and it seems i'm sure the price will increasing in the next month. But that's just my opinion only, at now i also have some litecoin and keep waiting for the price to going up soon.

You invest in litecoin because has the highest market cap of any mined cryptocurrency after the bitcoin so that litecoin has most highest that bitcoin so if i choose i must prefer litecoin as I said the market cap was so highest. There is no prediction for the future just because we dont know if litecoin is still in his rank of currency so that if you want take a risk to invest.

sad to say and admit it. that what you say is true. I think litecoin will not have such a bright future. they have no new innovations to offer to the users. so I'm not so sure they will have such a high price in the future. better looking for other potential altcoins, eg waves, etherum, monero, etc. you can research for yourself

I really don't know. It doesn't give you any incentives to buy. Their tech is just nothing important right now. Public embracement is low comparing to bitcoin. Litecoin's biggest feature is its community. And I don't think it isn't enough for me to buy and hold.

trading litecoin against bitcoin doesn't make any sense, the prices obviously correlate in fiat value so why would you even bother to pick up the btc/ltc chart...

as already noted itt fundamentally speaking a large community and dedicated devs are a big plus and there is still a lot more room upwards.
they just successfully did atomic swaps with bitcoin and decred and are working with other coins on the same (via, vtc)
so i would definitely advise to pick up litecoin and hodl that shit

I also invest in Litecoin and make little profit from this market. I think Litecoin is a good long-term investment and will soon have better prices later this year because of its high trading volume.

But the chart not good as another coin. Because we are know the more competitor to the litcoin such as bitcoin cash. And the bitcoin cash already stolen a lot of the demand from the litecoin too. Litecoin just the way to generate a little profit.

My motivation to hold ltc is very simple, ie ltc is an altcoin has existed for long time. Anything that people thinking about ltc. I'm sure, ltc is good altcoin also profitable.

Litecoin is the most undervalied of altcoin in my opinion. It was $41 when btc reach $1200 at first time. The real value of litecoin in this situation is $170. And litecoin also has a huge community holding it. Mine it everyday

litecoin have a big potential to increase and if you take a look after segwit gets success in ltc, the price is suddenly increase and people still believing with litecoin. i still hold my litecoin and i think the price will increase soon after bitcoin gets stable for a moment. litecoin can be another investment for us and especially for a long term and i think many people is still holding their litecoin because they want to sell in the high price too.

Litecoin doesn't have any big update coming. so you can invest now or later still ok. I think litecoin price will keep freeze like this till next years

Litecoin is one of the altcoins that has shown great potential. Eventhough litecoin haven't had much development over the past weeks, it still is good for investment wspecially long term investment. This is so since litecoin has a great chance that its value will further increase overtime.

Litecoin is awesome long term investment comparing to ethereum. Ether chain gets slower and busier while lite chain is still fast. We need speed in our transactions. Speed is valuable. So litecoin is good investment.

Litecoin's no good..  It's a buy, hold and sell higher (hopefully) coin..  There's better out there now - CRAVE!   

There's only 1.4 Million of them, and most people don't know you can make good passive income with crypto and it's amazing.

I didn't trade LTC recently but friend of mine, do very well shorting LTC using pair LTC/USD ... usually when there is BTC, etc. sell-off ...  :)

i think litecoins will not have great potential to have a high price in the future mate, no new innovations are offered, litecoin price movements are not too good either, i myself do not invest in litecoin because of lack of interest, there are many other altcoins that have good innovation and have the potential to have a high price

You said this was for the future. So I will assume that means years and not months or weeks. If that was the case, then you made a good choice. Litecoin has experienced amazing runs this year, but not so high that you feel it is over. It is always ahead even of Bitcoin in development, but that is the natural case for Litecoin as everyone knows it is a testing ground for technology like Segwit and even now Lightning network. Charlie Lee is the lead dev and so active to promote it.

but anyways you did good. Litecoin is one of the good altcoins which has been around for a very long time. it has a good developing team and this coin has a lot of potential of growth. if you look at the price history it has gone up this year from around $4 to nearly $50 current price.
the resistance around 0.01BTC has been huge preventing it from ever going lower.

the future also holds a lot of news and new features of it.
with SegWit a lot of chances to grow opened up. the Lightning Network is an example which will bring the Atomic Swap and makes LTC easily acceptable to anyone who is accepting bitcoin for example.
there is also Confidential Transactions coming which will make LTC a serious cometitor among the Anon coins such as Monero.

Litecoin is Good Like For long term investment comparing to ethereum in Crypto Currency. if you look at the price history it has gone up this year  From 5$ to 52$ price now.
So I think LitCoin Its good for Investment

Lite isn't the right currency to invest. but it's totally best currency to fix income due to low volatility and stability of the price. Despite being "classic cryptocurrency" it won't be so known as btc.in my opinion lite is overpriced. in 2017 it's the right time to try out another technology and learn more.

Litecoin is a very good coin with a long tradition and is longer here than some coins with a higher price.
I only regret that I did not buy when the price was around $ 2 a few years ago (in 2013 when I started to interest about crypto coins).
At that time, many saying they will be happy when litecoin price reaches $ 20, and it is max. (Then sold). Now it's about $ 50.
Clearly, the LTC price as other coins depends on the BTC price. But there's price progress and the LTC can go even higher.

LTC is an old coin that can be relied upon to grow our investment. And if i notice, Ltc is quite strong. Then i am sure, when experiences an uptrend, the time is long and that's where i can make a big profit.

yes litecoin is good currency compare to other altcoins but not compare to ETH  eth is the best currency from litecoin eth demand is increase day by day and lite have little demand. but lite coin is good for longterm investment because it will be increase their value but take some time.

The new wallet and they do everything just as it is doing on the highest crypto level here, the desire to invest in this currency.

BTC is named digital gold and LTC is called digital silver.

I also own some LTC, main reason is the presence of Charlie Lee (big fan of the man). It is like nikolaich says LTC is bitcoins silver, has a strong and active development team as they are always trying to create new features. Some weeks ago it had its max at around 90 $, now it has dropped to 52$, but I think in the near future it will rise again and we will see a now ATH for LTC

If you choose between ETH and LTC, then what is more promising?

I think the price is a little too high right now. At this point I would just purchase Bitcoin instead of Litecoin so I can make money on this stuff.

I really thought LTC would pump more on the news of atomic swaps.   It ended up not doing much.     I'm sad I missed out when it bottomed around 33 last month.   I don't know if it'll ever get that low again.

I believe litecoin is a potential coin and for sure after fee months or before end of this year 2017 the possible pricd become 100 dollars so if you have litecoin now in your wallet its better if you hold it and keep buying litecoin so you can make a lot of profit in the future. More litecoin that you have more earning that come with you . But invest only you can afford to lose brcause we dont know what actually happen.

I agree litecoin is one of the potential coin until now. It is one of the top coin that still existing and even investing price may increase. I believe litecoin is profitable so I also hold on this coin.

Personally i think that litecoin is probably going to cool down a bit. The hype surrounding SW has pushed price up a lot, and I think that we may see litecoin drop down below 0.01 BTC soon when the hype dies down.

If you want to accumulate, my personal opinion is don't accumulate now. Wait till litecoin drops to around 7-8th place in terms of market capitalization and then buy as much as possible. Since nobody is talking about LTC when that happens, you should be able to get a much better deal on your coins.

this is a really good one to ask.........     eth has a really good idea and financial following,  it got hacked, then rolled back the block chain to allow financial losers to recover funds ( bad programming )    but still has a very good following and many, many, many mega money shills.......................     ETC   forked off to be the original chain - time will tell,          any long lost Egyptian descendants  around to give advice on an ending..

it's tied to bitcoin in many ways.  if btc goes down, ltc goes down with it.

Perhaps the best reasons for me for one to invest in Litecoin is that it is a trusted coin. It has been weathering all the storms that happened in crypto world and survived solid and strong in the end. One of the pioneers in crypto, it is being backed by people who truly believe in its potentials. Right now, it is slowly gaining back the old reputation. ICOs are now catering LTC.

I think some other that telling litecoin is better than bitcoin because of the technology and more advance that litecoin using and litecoin is the one altcoins in existing and more faster in the transaction so that no doubt to invest in litecoin because other said litecoin is must better.

I also have Litecoins and just planning to hold this coins until i reached my target price. What I like about this coin is it's one of the stable coin in the market, also it is fairly cheap and it is actually a known coin. More and more establishment are recognizing this coin as a real money.

But If you are thinking to invest more i would suggest to buy other coins what i learned from investing is you need to diversify. Do not put your eggs in one basket. There are other great coins in the market that are also cheap.

During 2017 litecoin has risen more than 500% in addition, the litecoun community is so large that it can guarantee litecoin can survive under any circumstances.

Lite Coin is very slow growth coin because few months ago but price is not moving in this reason i sold out my 18 LTC and i bought another alt coin. Future is not good i think but if you can long term hold than you get some profit.
