Apologies to all investors, and holders of flurbo. NEW (07/JUN/2018) NOTE: For anyone who hasn't realised, this project had a few chances of revival with no fruition... There is no immediate plans to resurrect this coin ( Probably never will be ), technically no reason to really... However, I have done alot of research into smart contracts ( Solidity ) and building front end applications for use with, i have a few idea's for DAPP's to be created and have possible thoughts on creating a token for use within these apps, if i create a token i may keep in mind of rewarding any original flurbo holders with the token ( nothing in stone yet, just a possibility ), so if possible keep your wallet.dat. - P.s I was going to add this as a reply to this post, but that may spark unwanted new attention to this dead coin, so just slotted it in here. - P.p.s There's also another 'FLB Flurbo' project i have seen, if they prove to be legitimate (I have spoken to the dev recently, he says the projects still ongoing.. ) i may try work with them to turn any left over flurbo stuff into compatible with their project to stop any confusion, at the end of the day i started this project as i wanted some flurbo's, I'd rather one's that work so if this other project will continue the flurbo legacy I'm all for it!. https://thumb.ibb.co/mJAx6G/flurbo256trans.png https://image.ibb.co/i6qeVm/flurbos_goal.png There's two main things that are driving me to create this currency. The first; I just wanted to own some Flurbo's. Love the show Rick and Morty and have seen some token based R+M currencies that are mostly owned by one person. I want a fairly distributed currency... and felt best way was to make it myself. But secondly the idea of creating a coin that enables owners to 'gamble' with each other in a fully safe / fair environment, and offer the first truly 50/50 fair gambling. without any edge towards the house or any player. I've had a response from Coinomi after requesting to getting Flurbo added, They have reviewed and agree but require a one time 2BTC fee. I cannot afford this myself, but if together the community can raise then it would be huge for the Flurbo! The difficulty changed to +3M at block height 24192, http://lpool.name/explorer/FLB?height=24192 we are ( at time of this post ) at block height 24561, it has also been 8 days since the difficulty change. The Flurbo network works like bitcoin, expects a block to be mined every 10 minutes, so 2016 blocks by 2 weeks. If 2016 blocks are mined before 2 weeks the difficulty increases. if 2016 blocks are mined outside the frame of 2 weeks the difficulty decreases. So as long as the network doesn't mine over ~1647 blocks before 20/10/2017, the difficulty will adjust accordingly once they have been mined past that date. Hopefully that helps you with your mining. The peers connecting from different client is something im trying to figure out myself, i am sure there is no remaining "bitcoin" hardcoded seeds, yet they manage to find. It could possibly be a port issue, since i never changed port from 8333. - if anyone figures out the issue before me ill reward with some flurbo's xD! The issue with peers not finding each other easily is with the 'bitcoin-seeder' i am also looking further into solving this issue it should be trivial. There is a possibility that the difficulty issue may only be solved with a hardfork, but im not 100% sure yet. The peers connecting from different client is something im trying to figure out myself, i am sure there is no remaining "bitcoin" hardcoded seeds, yet they manage to find. It could possibly be a port issue, since i never changed port from 8333. - if anyone figures out the issue before me ill reward with some flurbo's xD! The issue with peers not finding each other easily is with the 'bitcoin-seeder' i am also looking further into solving this issue it should be trivial. There is a possibility that the difficulty issue may only be solved with a hardfork, but im not 100% sure yet. I do believe could fix most issues for this coin without a hardfork, i wanna iron out them first few kinks before i fully address the difficulty issue. I will do my best to keep you all updated. You just need different diff retargeting algo like DGW or something. You can't really take BTC specs and make them into new-alt. At least after these 2016 blocks are finished, we will have super fast next 2016 blocks. Sorry for delays, i am still in talks with boxy they do seem keen but they also have their own project to work on and we need to figure out the best way to do it all ( IF it does happen )..
