I'm currently using Nintendo 3DS and thinking about buying Nintendo Switch.

What can you suggest any other consoles? Or should i go for my decision?

Always loved my playstation, since the ps2.... just lots of fun.

I have been using the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One.

SNES was my favourite console when I was a child. Now I like to play XBOX One, because all my friends have one.

I use Playstation since the first one, never doubted of any other. Well before playstation there was nintendo console but still since Playstation came up, life changed.

I would say PS4 compared to Xbox One. I mean i personally would choose the PS4. Xbox, it's good too but in my opinion, SP4 is better

I like Nintendo games so I have a Wii U but otherwise I play on PC. Really just get whatever console has the games you want and that your friends have if you want to play with them. That's really all that matters when it comes down to it in my opinion.

I would say that the playstation 1 is probably the console I got the most use and joy out of, closely followed by the super Nintendo and the playstation 2. I have seen some switch gameplay and it does look like a fun console so I'd say go for it.

I like PC but it's been a personal preference. But I think XBOX and Play Station are up there because it's so much more than a gaming console now like you could watch movies and stuff.

PS4 has lots of exclusive games. If you want the nintendo exclusive over than the ps4 one, why not go with nintendo?

Pff PCMASTERRACE ... but if I had to choose a consol I would choose the Nintendo Switch. Zelda and Mario are games that are way too good ;)

In my experience good graphics and good exclusive games i would prefer playstation 4 with games coming out of 2017 becoming one of the best games i played there would be more in 2018 so i would recommend getting a playstation 4 it is a nice switch from nitendo to playstation.

Depends on what u into. I remeber when Wii was released. I thought that was crazy, tried to play a little but wasn't for me. I really like the New Console from Nintendo, but still waiting more games to be developed before buying it.

Not a huge fan of consoles, but some of the best legacy games were on xbox and ps2 such as burnout 3 takedown :D

Honestly I like the game through ps 4 easy for me when playing football.

Make me really like the game over the internet by using pc.

My best memories go back to Genesis and then maybe NES. Of course the PS2 time was incredible too. But if you're talking A-rated titles, then I think PS2 has to be it.

Either PC or PS4 for me because I have one and I find them really satisfying while using them it is also because of their ultra-graphics games that is really pleasing to the eyes. :D :D

It depends actually on what games you are into. For me, generally I like realistic shooting games that's why I go for PS at well as desktop.
Based on your set examples I believe you are more into Nintendo developed games, well for that please go strongly with the newly released Nintendo switch. I believe the graphics on those devices are beyond superb.

  I believe that my PC and Xbox One are the best video gaming consoles simply because the wide variety of games to play and graphics. I like switching back and forth for some games. I play Arma 3, Payday 2, and Rust on the computer (Steam and their wonderful summer sales) :D. On xbox one, i play fifa, batllefield, titanfall, and nba 2k14. It's really up to you and what you want to play. I'm also thinking about getting Counter Strike which I heard is a great game

Right now the Nintendo Switch gives you a lot of flexibility. Especially if you like playing handhelds like the OP.

For me the best console is the playstation. I started with the PSX then the PS one then PS2, PS3 and now PS4. I always considered it being better than Xbox. Maybe this is just a personal view, I know that. But for me the experience when playing with the playstation controller is just better than with the Xbox. Another console Im really into is SNES, best games ever on this one. Just love playing this old stuff. Reminds me of my childhood.

I don't think there's anything like the Nintendo Switch so I think you should go ahead and get it if you really want it and like the games they have to offer. I have Nintendo Wii, 3DS, and DS Lite as well as Playstation 2, 3 & 4 and I love all of them haha :D Each system has their own perks and games (even though I definitely prefer Playstation over Xbox - they tend to have the same games so there's no point having both). Switch is a good choice though I actually want one myself.

1. number of games
2. stable flatform
3. running for more that a year

Still PC. You can emulate alle the good old games from NES/SNES era and the console exclusives are almost never exclusive for a long time. I dont need to buy a game at release day, because its buggy, the servers can't handle the traffic and the games are expensive. I just wait for the GOTY edition on PC and have a good, cheap and hopefully bug free game :D

If your financial situation is good, better buy a console that has the best quality because I think the hobby should be total, not half. Because if you do not buy the best for now, just look at it later you will want it.

Depends on the types of games you prefer, personally I like more xbox one, but there are consoles that are very good.

Playstation 1 is the best console for me a because lot games, no need to spend money to level up your character and very cheap to buy CD games.

I like Nintendo games so I have a Wii U but otherwise I play on PC. Really just get whatever console has the games you want and that your friends have if you want to play with them. That's really all that matters when it comes down to it in my opinion.

Well the new one's are quite good like PS4 or PS4 pro but nothing could beat my love for PS2.It was simply awesome and fun to play as it was my first and the one on which I played one of my favourite games God of war.

Right now, the Switch. I would always choose a PC over a console though. More games, more options, more freedom.

Get a Ps4, cheap and has a giant library. The Switch just came out so there arent many games compared to other systems. Plus you already have a portable console. I would probably get a switch after Smash Bros is released or wait till there's a price cut =P

Though I really don't use my PC for that purposes.
Another reason is I'm having a hard time using a controller, for me a mouse and a keyboard is more suiting.

But being as transparent as possible most of that list you can also get on Xbox 1 so you have to really want something specific like bloodborne or Persona 5 you know something along those lines that you can only get on PS4 to warrant choosing PS4 over Xbox 1. Either way you cant lose choosing between those two.

I'd disagree on the best console though, i'd argue it's the nintendo switch. it just breaks so many barriers / records. portability is amazing and the graphics still back a sick punch. love it.

The best console as rightly said by others is none other than the PS4.

For me, it is Xbox 360 game console. It is as an extra-class console. Gamers from different countries of the world like its graphics, which is at the highest level. Having registered in the online service Xbox Live, I also got an access to demo games.

Nintendo has great exclusives, it's a worth buy, even I being a PC gamer recognize quality of Nintendo. However, industry is changing each day and not precisely for the good side, for that reason I always recommend PC.

That's how many times I tried to play on consoles, well, it's not how it clings to me, I like PC more. But it's better to play on the console in fights. And everything else is better than a computer, it's more convenient and the graphics are better.

I think so the best console is PS4. I using her for few months and works great.

I like the nintendo switch but it lacks on content, probably because it is quite new, however there are like four games which seem to be enought to buy it.

Xbox and Playstation are the consoles that I have played and I consider the best

One of the most underrated consoles of all time is the sega dreamcast.  You don't hear much about it nowadays but it had a lot of great games.

I would choose both Nintendo and Play station over Xbox.  I had a 360 I had to send back 4 times because of the red ring.  I will never buy a Microsoft product again.

from the 90s. I've played some famous consoles, all of them have different experiences. But now, i am stop to playing it to get some money.  Cry
I think the best experience goes to Playstation.

Stay with the computer ;) In my opinion this is the best thing.

PC and PS4

I have an Xbox One and a Nintendo Switch. However, if I were to keep one, it would be the switch. Portability is its greatest strength, while the Xbox does have a significant bump in the graphics department. If you're into fun games, the Nintendo is your best best. But I still kept my Xbox for exclusive games like Forza, Gears of War, etc. I did fiddle with a PS4 for a while but chose to keep my old fat Xbox One instead. I like the feel of the controller better as well.

EDIT: As much as I want a gaming computer, I'd rather keep things simple and follow the "game'n'go" path. I just want to be able to pop in the disc and play right away (though I'm sure most gaming rigs now are more than capable of that)

Try the switch. For now there's not much games on that ( but there's some great ones, like Zelda for example) but they plan to make many more in the future.

i like  Xbox 360 and the Xbox One.

+1 for PC and some retro emulation/remake.

Ilove play station. For me the best is ps4. I play nba smoothly like no other than console because i only use play station when i as a kid so i am used to this controls.

The twist with emulation is using an older device to emulate even older ones.

Ie. All Famicom(nes)/SFC(snes)/Gameboy/Sega, etc on a PSP... Heck, the thing even plays PS1 isos (same cpu).

Of course a PC can also do newer more difficult devices. something tells me when the time comes to emulate the switch, it will be very easy because the switch, unlike its predecessor, uses a very common off the shelf ARM android like device. That is how Ubuntu was quickly made to run in it...

But i like the flexibility of PCs more. With consoles all i see is limits, but yes some jewels are made for them, sometimes. Even emulation can often provide a superior experience, such as better image quality/resolution, save states, cheats etc.

Also bugged games like Skyrim, are a pain without a PC. You need to pass console commands often to fix things (and yeah, Bethesda did a very sloppy job there) but its great to be able to unstuck yourself out of bugs one ~ (tilde) command away.
