Title: Liqui exchange scam, support non-existent. USERS BEWARE NOW
Post by: Masonmano on September 30, 2017, 04:44:20 PM
Everyone please be cautious using Liqui. Their withdrawl and deposit system has been very shady and a lot of people's funds are missing, mine included. Their support team is completely missing and hasn't responded to anyones ticket in over a month. Take a look at their twitter and see the amount of people complaining they received no assistance (https://twitter.com/Liqui_Exchange).

I recently tried to withdrawl 4 ETH and received the transaction error Out of Gas. This means the smart contract was cancelled and the balance was returned to Liqui. However, I never received the credit back to my account and doesn't look like I'm going to. I've sent Liqui messages on Telegram, Twitter, and private messages here with no response even though they read it. I have an open ticket for over 5 days and Liqui doesn't give a damn.

I used to withdraw from the exchange without any issues and never got an Out of Gas error and you can't even input a gas amount in your transaction. This is an error on Liqui's end and looks like a scheme to just take your funds.

The team has time to list new coins and tweets but takes no time to inform their users on what is happening with our money. There is most likely thousands of dollars stuck in their limbo. This is disgusting the way they are going about like nothing is wrong and just dismiss our claims against them.

Please reconsider this exchange for the time being until they start showing some integrity and fixing the mistakes on their end. Doesn't matter if you are trading and making lots of money, if you can't withdraw it then it's worthless.

Liqui, you need to respond and give users some clarity to whats going on with support.

As long as people continue to make use of exchanges like this, the list of complaints will only grow. If you look through everything, their only priority is to attract people with the shitcoins they list.

They don't care about their existing customers, because if that was the case, an exchange would do everything to respond to people's support tickets whenever they can.

Time enough for listing new shitcoins, but not for customers. What's new. Yobit seems to walk the same path, and Poloniex in a certain form as well ~ people should think before joining such exchanges.

I have the same issue. My withdrawal ran out of gas and my eth are missing. This post deserves more views so people avoid being in our situation until support start answering tickets again.

If they keep ignoring us, i guess the exit scam will arrive sooner or later.

I realized this a few months ago and that's why I advise all people not to limit themselves to just creating a thread in the bitcointalk forum, there are competent authorities that you can use to solve your problem

go to the police and report your case

I have never trusted this exchange, why are some people using it instead or using a safe exchange like bittrex or poloniex? It is like saying that you are using a weird exchange because their fees are 0.0001% lower than using a safe exchange, because i know some people who do it, or maybe you are using it because you are trying to dump weird coins, but obviously you use it because you say that you had some problems with it before.
Anyway, good luck with your money, it is a ghost bussiness, so i guess they dont even have a support team..

I used it because it was one of the few places you can purchase/sell recently released ICO coins. Support team used to be around if you look at past posts on reddit and these forums and they were actually praised for their fast response.

Now they went completely missing so I guess it was all an act to build rapport and look legit until its time to make their exit plan.

I'll look into filing a complaint with the police in Ukraine or their local government. It's been 9 days with no response and hasn't addressed anything on their Twitter.

Sorry to hear about your case but I am also aware that their support has stopped responding long back and they delay withdrawals too. My one withdrawal took 2 days to get cleared while now their BTC deposits and withdrawals are fast and instant. It's their ETH withdrawals that are taking time  and hence there's no way except to wait for your withdrawal to get cleared. Keep sending them messages on bitcointalk as well and hopefully your issue gets resolved.

There is an influx of liqui complaints recently.

It seems like there hasn't been any consistent customer support ever since the end of August. I used it in September and everything went right, but for these people that had an error, i haven't seen anyone's issue being resolved.

Liqui shuold at least stop listing new coins until the issue has been fully resolved.

My account has been locked and 2FA code does not work anymore. I wrote to them and even mentioned the amount of coin I have on Liqui Exchange. However, they said the number of coin I told them is incorrect. It is unacceptable. I have the Coinigy account and have been trading. The coin appears on Coinigy clearly and how can that go wrong? They have decided to call me a hacker and closed the customer service ticket. I have all the coins on my account that I can't access anymore. Liquid is a big scam that everyone should avoid. The customer service is rude too.

The same thing has happened to me. My account showed that someone withdrew my funds. I did not authorize or give any kind of permission to anyone. Support told me after several weeks that it would be impossible to withdraw funds without getting an email to allow it. I did not get an email and did not withdraw funds. My account was hacked and someone stole my money! This has been several months now and support has not yet fixed the problem or are responding to me anymore.
