Absolutely correct!! So far predictions about how coins will behave have not been accurate at all. Bitcoin and Litecoin have their problems. Eventually somebody will find the best set of coin parameters and that coin will dominate in the future.

There's almost enough info in the original post for a newb like me to figure it out how to mine it.  Being an idiot is exhausting.

I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have :D

Create a flashcoin.conf in the C:\USERS\YOURNAME\APPDATA\ROAMING\FLASHCOIN directory and populate it with the info laid out in the OP.

Then launch CGMiner using the commands in the OP.

Everyone is an idiot at something, it's not too hard to get going though. Once you figure out how to set up one coin, you can set up all the rest no problem

difficulty is dropping from a high of 3k about 30 min ago... Apparently the diff adjustment is working; I like that it gives me an idea of how many people are mining.

CGMiner is giving error that credentials are invalid. I have the flashcoin.conf set up as instructed and CGMiner setup as instructed, only replaced user with my FLC wallet receive address and -p x. Ideas?
