I was listing to security now :) and they mentioned the site https://www.shouldichangemypassword.com it looks in compromised website databases that were posted online and checks to see if your email is in it (it also has the mtgox database). I ran mine and it came back bad saying it was compromised June 19 2011, here are thier sources https://shouldichangemypassword.com/sources.php. Also another fun site is hassonybeenhackedthisweek.com they are upto 20 hacks in the last who mouth  ;D.

Yes, you should change your password as soon as you enter it into an unknown site.

You don't put in you password, you put in you email and it looks in leaked website databases to see if your email is in it. Of course it could be a email grabber but there is always risk of that, but the create went through the difficulty of buying a ssl cert so it looks pretty legit.

yup lets give some stranger a list of our emails to bind together along with ip address.,
