Title: MAGOS - Project SCAM
Post by: shade_wrath on October 03, 2017, 09:20:23 AM
Seems like after running for almost 2 months of ICO, the MAGOS team has deleted all the content of their ANN thread and Official Website. The project was not able to meet the softcap and seems like they left the investors hanging as the original project team was always anonymous and not contactable via any channel!

Sorry to hear about that. It is a pity that such companies which omit people who trusted them their money. Maybe in the future security of such ICOs will be better

Yeah quite possible. Their ANN thread is also changed and most posts are deleted. I hope they did not collect so much money during their crowdsale because their investors are going to have so many headeches for sure to take their money back.

I checked TamiLe, the guy that created the threads for MAGOS. Maybe his account is hacked, i dont know. But something weird is ongoing with magos project. No slack, no telegram, no twitter. They were all closed...

Trust summary for TamiLee
This user's email address was changed recently.

If it's like this, who is to blame, the investors must lose big because they do not know the money can be returned or not.
hopefully there is a clarification from the magos if the thread is lost, hacked or create a new site

There is no way to get your money back in crypto, what is once lost is lost forever. The team will defintely start a new AI project soon to cheat more people, as their team members are all anonymous!

May be next time people will learn not to invest in something which you cant see or trust or rely on.

Just another day and another scam ICO . Maybe we should start thinking of regulating ICO as China start to do

Haha really mate so optimistic that its not a scam and quite possible a scam ? They are wiping their tracks, nothing else. TamiLee is nothing but a purchased account. They will buy another high ranking account and scam again  ::) ::)

i put a really little amount into magos. i'm new to this all and wondering that so many online channels have reported positive in advance without editorial research.
Sounds crazy for me.
But okay, ticked off. The next time I will take better care.

Hope the authorities will get these guys. I only fear that this will occur more often in the future and a lot of black sheep are on the road at the upcoming ICOs. A easy way to "earn" a lot of money.

I agree, and with that kind of circumstances here on what happened lately of being scammed that will made them more stronger and vigilant next time. Seeking for good and trusted investments is a must and people will become more resourceful for their point of interest as they make another decisions for quicker conclusions.

LOL. They cleared their announcement as well as their website after getting the money on their hands. That's why the buzz of regulations are justified.

I was lucky to give them a pass, but I was actively monitoring the project as I felt the team is working in secrecy all the time. Only reply via email and no other channel for communication.

I feel sorry for people who lost their valuable money! I also agree we need better regulations in ICO and make it more strict for implementation/launch. At the end common man is affected the most, since its their hard earned money they invest thinking of turning it into something profitable!

So stupid that they can easily collect more than 1 million dollars and escape. It is not fair at all. There should be way to punish those thiefs...

Left the "Investors" hanging... Please inform yourself about what an investor is and don't call the blinded fools investors.

Scammers here are not uncommon. There are always high risks here. The lack of information about the team should always be alarming. Even if there is information. It should be checked on social networks, on projects in which this team allegedly participated. Does the information from the social networks inspire confidence? Were the team members talking about this project?

you can see the ICO at this time, very much popping up and some people would assume many ICO scammers or others. this is really very worrying.
be carefull on joined a projects. check first details and the concept. but more must primarily check the project website itself.
thank you on your information.

No, most of them just vanish in the dark. Leaving investors hanging in a desire to get return of their investment amount or tokens promised by the ICO!  :-\

They are one of those bastard thiefs for sure. But i dont understand why they distributed the tokens before dissapearing. Maybe they didnt want investors to loose all the hopes about the ico sso they gained extra time.

It doesn't matter how many scams are done in cryptos, they will never match the size and quantity of the scams done in wall street.
