It depends on coins. NEO gives gas, waves gives tokens, funds give ether dividends, some coins keep increasing by just staying in your wallet. You should search for every other pos project.

The only benefit you get is the fact that you posses the coin that you are holding (with the exception of PoS, which would give you small dividends). The main reason people would want to hold a coin is the hope that it will increase in value and earn the holder some money, there’s no other real benefit to hold a coin.

This is really nice thread and if somebody can elaborate what are the coins and what are benefits and under which exchanges they can have it will help everybody to know so that accordingly one can invest and trade on the coins which also have some additional benefits.

POS gives dividends but it doesn't seem good as you said, because it can be considered as security and then take your own conclusion about that, The coin which can give utility usage will be a very interesting thing dude, This seems true consider about the fact that we have no utility token.

It depends on someone's understanding, but if you want to take a short walk you can choose bitcoin. Until now, bitcoin was able to change the state of the market and even cryptocurrency became popular as it is today because bitcoin, everyone who is new to crypto currency only knows bitcoin, so bitcoin is a first way for them to invest.

In some years to go and last year cryptocurrencies market has give great reward to the holders and that is the beauty of the market before.  But now everything is not in good condition and the holders are regretting that they have hold and not selling when it was at it pick in 2017.

BCHSV is possible, or ethereum. because the increase in ethereum prices is very unpredictable, the price in 2017 is very high. then if you make it a long-term investment I think it will be more profitable than other altcoins.

We have utility tokens, some even that have staking. BUT none of them are reaching their true utility yet because adoption is so limited. If you could pick a coin that would reach widescale adoption and live up to its utility then that would be a wonderful investment.

Last year most of the holders really benefit from the market and as at then holding become the best thing to do.  I think we are going to benefit if we can take the risk and buy now to hold for long-term.  Investment into cryptocurrencies market is like investing into the future.  We only need to be patience and wait for three to four years before selling.  Day traders are the one that should expect something from the market daily and not the holders but in cryptocurrencies community we miss both day traders and holders together and that is why many of us invested at the wrong time.

I think not best benefit that you got, but safe investment if you pick on bitcoi or ETH, i mean both of that coin still have chance to increase again and then we can get profit from that. As long you not use your daily money i think you will ok with that.

There are so many cryptocurrencies that you can hold to get profit but I think you should only hold cryptocurrencies with high rank on CMC only. But the main problem is how long can you hold :). If you only can hold for few months so I think there is no altcoin can help you to get profit at this period.

there are lots of crypto coins that have been circulating in the market and all those coins certainly have their own benefits and are good to hold, all depends on yourself because everyone must have a different choice of coins for them to hold and all depends when will you save the coin.
