A RX 480 8GB version can make you about 0.00027 btc per day and 2 of them 0.00054 btc per day. For me this amount is a normal one to be made but OP and many people are comparing this with early months of this year in which GPU mining had a boom and spike in profitability. This is the normal amount a GPU can make.
At OP, if you think they are useless you can sell them on ebay, there are people there still willing to pay a premium over its original price no matter if they are used or not.
