After further analysis of the network. I am finding errors in my modem log. It appears to be on the ISP side. I am informing them of the problem now.
My apologies if you are having any network problems. The flow of traffic seems fine but i like to stop problems before they get big.

Since the blockfinder bounty seems to be popular. I would to implement it in a more permanent fashion although in doing this I wont be able to keep the bonus very high.

The new client reduces network transfer fees from .1 LTC to .02 LTC.

is it just me or is the pool having issues tonight? and also none of my shares are confirmed

I just upgraded the litecoin client on the server. This caused 2 or 3 disconnections lasting around 10 minutes.

Shares arent paid out until the pool finds a block.

The fee for withdrawal is at 0.1.  I hadn't seen that anywhere and had assumed it wouldn't be as expensive.  Any thoughts on lowering that to 0.02?

Yes the fee has been lowered to 0.03. Sorry about the slacking, Im actually running a mirrored server behind my network that ive been using to implement changes to the website. Im hoping to roll alot of changes out in one big patch to the site pretty soon.  ;)

Reduced minimum site width to 1440x900 to be more old monitor friendly.

It has been brought to my attention that some of the graphs are not loading within Internet explorer. My apologies for any frustrations this is causing. I am still working on the implementation and will have it fixed asap. I highly recommend using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox as they are superior browsers to IE.

Ran a Server restart at 8pm EST, downtime was 10 minutes. Back to business as usual.

Decided to give your pool a try. About 900kh/s coming your way. Soon to be about 1.1mh/s once I find a place to stick my 7770.

Good so far I'm liking it better than coinotron. The blockfinder reward is really cool. I'll consider upping my donations if things keep going good. One slight problem is that I can't see graphs at all in IE10.

Ya for some reason IE Hates our graphs.  The blocks page graph renders fine but the others either half render or not render at all. Plan on fixing it soon.

Highly recommend using Google chrome or Mozilla firefox to view the site. Much better browsers.

I used Chrome for a while but actually prefer IE10. No biggie though just maybe something you could fix when you have free time.

Over the last 24 hours the getwork server has been under a consistent DDoS attack. The attacker is running through a proxy and goes by the name KingRaider. I would very much like to continue to offer getwork to our miners but douchebags are making it rather difficult. I have shut down port 420 offering getwork and have swapped the port. If you would like to continue to use getwork on our server please please send me an email through the support section on our webpage.

I have reopened the getwork protocol but I have changed the port. As I have said before my goal is to continue to provide the getwork service to ours miners and I plan on keeping to that. At 11pm EST I will be taking down the server to upgrade the server hardware. I will also be applying several updates to the website.
Expected downtime is 4-8 hours. I will try extremely hard to get the server back up in a shorter period of time. PLEASE SET YOUR MINERS
TO A BACKUP SERVER WHILE THE SERVER IS DOWN. Save yourself some power and money by making sure your miners aren't sitting there idle! :)

Server is back up and running super clean. Cant wait to get some real stress on it  8)

Ill look into it. Did you stop mining at all? Remember its pplns so if you stop mining some of your shares might have gotten knocked off.

The database is showing that you stopped mining at 2013-07-24 01:18:07 PM and then you started mining again at 2013-07-24 07:41:07 PM. Our last block was found at 2013-07-24 08:51:30 PM.

By you stopping you lost alot of shares in the "N" of PPLNS. Our "N" was set at 150k shares. So you saw less paid out.

Remember PPLNS rewards dedicated miners and wards off pool hoppers  :-\

On a side note: I will be raising the "N" of shares later today due to the much longer rounds were getting lately.

Reduced Block Confirmations to 60 Confirms rather than 120.

Due to the recent update to the litecoind client. The backend of the pools seems to have become broken. Blocks that are being found by the wallet
are not showing up on the site and hence never changing the round or doing anything for that matter. This is due to how the new litecoind client changed
block indexes. Over the last few days I have been going through the code and applying smalls fixes in hopes of fixing the problem but its becoming clear
the backend will need some pretty extensive rewriting to make it compatible. This will take time (alot of it) and during this time I will be bringing down
the server until a fix can be applied. There is no ETA unfortunately.

I will be leaving the website up and running and the wallet active so miners can still retrieve there balances during this downtime.

My deepest and sincerest apologies to everyone mining here. The changelog on the new litecoind client labled 0.8.3.7 as "identical to 0.6 except faster".
Which was clearly not the case.

I do have all intentions on distributing the blocks found at a later time but my main priority atm is to get the server back into working condition.
Again I would like to apologize, this is a pretty bad kick to the balls but once again I will do my best to remedy the situation.

Today I brought down the server for 45 minutes to upgrade the litecoin client. I have also taken this time to run a full restart on my network infrastructure and the server itself. Everything should be back to normal and running smoothly. I know we have been having a really long round so I just wanted to make sure it wasnt something on the server end. Thank you again for mining with us! :)

After more poking and prodding at the server I have at last found the problem that has been plagueing the pool. It was a small time difference between the client and the server itself. The problem has been fixed and I am 100% convinced we will find a block soon! :)

We could definitely use some more big miners to help get our hashrate up.

If the hashrate doesn't increase or decrease we should find a block over the weekend. Statistically speaking, of course.

Ya, the round estimates are generally on point and we did find a block today! :)

We really need miners to stay through the long rounds so we can build up our hashrate. As the hashrate increases, the rounds become shorter because we are moving through the round faster. Eventually once the hashrate gets high enough, our rounds will be hours instead of days. Just really need DEDICATED MINERS that stay and believe in the pool!!

Found another block pretty fast, we are very lucky.

Unfortunately my hashrate is pretty low even using four different devices. I plan to get some usb ASICs soon.

Did you stop mining before we found a block? Remember we use a PPLNS payout system and not proportional. I will look into it.

If PPLNS system,i have contribute a part of.
It must be have some reward.

Really sorry about the delay but Ive looked into it. The database is showing that you started mining at 06/15/2014 07:07:13 and stopped mining at 06/16/2014 04:33:39. We didnt find the next block until 06/21/2014 14:40:24. You stopped mining roughly at 50 % through the round. The round actually went slightly long at 110% meaning you were out of the PPLNS. Ironically we had a 5% round after the 110% round. If you would have just stayed on a little more you would have gotten something and If you never left and stayed through both the rounds you would have gotten half of those 2 blocks (if not more) due to your speed. Really sorry but you were out of the PPLNS range on the pool :(
