Does this use CPU or GPU ?

Yes, you can solo mining in the wallet, all you need to do is :
Download the Volp-Qt, Go on the tab "Mine" , Select the type "Solo Mining" , select 1 Thread and then start mine.

The windows wallet it's still working.We just remove the link from the github. Because we are working on a new version ,that will coming soon.

dear developers, and what to do with wallets on windows? How to withdraw coins?

You can use the Windows-Qt, because it working and it's not going to stop working.
Soon , we will be publishing the windows-qt. What you can do right now, is to install a virtualbox with Ubuntu14 and download the linux-qt.
After that you can open the linux-qt ,then you close the wallet, paste your wallet.dat of the windows on the linux-qt and start the wallet .
Dont forget to make a backup of your wallet.dat before paste on linux-qt.

You can use the Windows-Qt, because it working and it's not going to stop working.
We just remove the link from the github.  Because we are working on a new version ,that will coming soon.

I have long deleted Windows-Qt and only kept wallet.dat. And Linux-qt is built on boost1.54, which is not supported by the latest versions of linux

The Volp pool is working again. We had  a problem on the server. The server rebooted and didn't started the daemon.

We are also counting with  the community to encourage other large pool to add to volpcoin.

I have a big suspicion that they are mining coins and by the time the code is opened there will be a very large pre-mine, concentrated in several hands.

I tried to mine the VCP in 2 pools. The first pool did not pay me a single coin, the new one gave 3 or 4 times about 70 coins, and then almost a month did not pay anything and I gave it up. There is no understandable and transparent statistics and feedback.

I long supported this coin on Twitter and on the BTCGforum, but now everything looks very muddy and problematic. :(

Yes, but each Asic can give you couple backs per day. Why somebody let his ASIC mining dead coin?

Baikal - specifield asic.. low HR on x11 x13 Quark and Qubit, but have good HR on x14 algo (Baikal A900 = 30*1080Ti)... But... on x14 algo too small coins and all x14 coins lowprofitable... Volp x14 and Asic-holder try all it new-coin.. but... Dev is debil :D

There some wallet you can try and use. Web wallet and linux wallet. Also you can use old windows wallet, but the link is removed in github.
Maybe for now you can't mine it with solo mining from wallet directly if you using windows. You can try GPU as optional.

That is a common problem when is provided precompiled version, you compiled it with libbost 1.54,  but in my system in ubuntu 16.04 I have 1.58.
What should I do?  Or maybe you can compile with 1.58 and provide new file?

Hi, it's looks like your  blockindex got corrupted somehow. You should make a backup of your
wallet.dat , then you should clean your data-directory and only leave in the wallet.dat.
This leads to a re-download of the blockchain, which can take a while though.
