But as long as newbie (both seller or buyer) will accept the escrow, provide proofs etc. there is no need for such thing IMO. Funny thing is scammers are lazy now and don't go to any effort, I seem to remember years ago they tried much harder and some were very convincing. Luckily I dont think many people are naive enough to fall for these recent lame scam attempts so they're just wasting their time. It's posted everywhere and is a very simple process to follow. Other than that I would prefer the current generation of users who are lazy, than ones that have restrictions on them and plan more accordingly. But it really is common sense to not trust new members and to use escrow regardless of rank.

Whatis more concerning is the absolutely vacuous content that gets shat out here. And we all know why that is, and we all know what it looks like. Nuking the spam threads is a great first step, and hopefully people here have started reporting the crap posts. That at least brings them to the attention of the mods, who can actually do something about them. Even if you don't get a 100% report rate, just keep reporting them, and hopefully some of these chronic shit posters will get the bans they so richly deserve. |
