Title: "Almighty bitcoin" still pushing
Post by: Gozie51 on October 12, 2017, 09:04:36 AM
;D.I had already known it was going to touch the $5000 mark this month, it got to my prediction quite early.

I'm now expecting a retracing step backwards to $4800 mark before a new trend would be formed either another bullish or dip.
Guys what do you think?

if we are retracing back,i am afraid it will not touch $4800 level,
but instead it will reach $4000 level or even worst than that, afterwards consolidating and moving upward slowly.
i think for now $5000 it's the highest because right now we can see the price hit $5200 level,
which mean we're approaching another resistence around $5500.
expecting a little drop before break that level and then sideways a few days.
it's exploding because another coin will be created, and nobody want to miss it.
i am afraid when it explode,it will be huge

Yeah, You are quite right on this -(it's exploding because another coin will be created, and nobody want to miss it.).

Meanwhile, this is why I'm looking at that retracing step. This could happen just immediately or few hours before the coin it's released (because it is always fundamentals that will change the direction of the market, technicasl are just stooge to the market and taking orders with gradual steps) which you also support .

Any idea why the price is pumping so hard?

Bitcoin will fork in less than 2 weeks and everyone holding bitcoin will receive the equivalent amount of bitcoin gold, last time this happened was with bitcoin gold and at its peak it was at about 40% of the value of bitcoin, basically people are looking for a quick free buck.

bitcoin never stopped pushing though! it has always been "pushing" and rising even when the price were seemingly dropping, it was in reality a stepping stone to go even higher next time.

with the trend that is going on right now, i am expecting a much higher price before any "retracement" happens. there is nothing going on that can cause a big drop anyways, the way to higher prices is perfectly clear with no obstacles for some more time at least.

That is what we were expecting for a long time, that the price will not stay below 4000$ for a long time and very soon the price will again start rising, In fact bitcoin was trading at low price for a long time, but still people were too much confident and that is the reason that they were not ready to sell their bitcoin, i think people are still very bullish and hope that the price will continue increasing for a long time and currency we are not going through any depth but the price will continue increasing.

In my own analyzation, the dipping point Im expecting is lower than your stated price, the price is around $4,500. Since all this hype can't considered as usual demand, likely dips will happened after the fork or closed to that date. The good thing here is, if the price maintained it's support at around $5,000 then likely we can expect again another milestone for bitcoin price.

This is only my own speculation. You can argue on me with this but let's make it a healthy discussion.

Gotta admit I'm absolutely baffled by the current developments in regards to the value of BTC; didn't expect the previous ATH ($4975) of september the 2nd already to be surpassed by a large margin. I'd say sky's the limit in the coming weeks and prices could race towards $6000 before the hardfork has even happened. After that I presume a correction will occur but with a bottom still above $4000.

Bitcoin is on its way to set new All time high price and I am quite sure it will be way above $6k but price is pumping quite hard right now just because of high speculation over coming fork which is not quite good. I am expecting some correction or even huge dump on price just after the fork.

It is not going to go down again, at least for now.. we have already came from a bearish trend, and it was time to see bullish times, so probably we will see a huge rise of bitcoin until it touches $5500 (and it will happen soon) and then it will probably drop a little, but not much.
Maybe the bearish trend will start again once that the fork is done, but there is a few weeks left until it happens.

Bitcoin is now above $5375 and I believe this is a new high and break above that level will get us to $6000. We most agree that attack from governments make bitcoin strong and we need more attack as people are far wiser than governments and it agency. Demand for bitcoin has increased significantly and in days to come we would see that no matter the force against bitcoin; the people demand for it is going to keep it strong.

I am really amazed how bitcoins keep on pumping.  When I started here, the maximum value was $2.5k and now it's over $5k. I can't avoid spending my btc and I really regret it. Well I have predicted this and nearly $6k by the end of the year. I wonder how the fork will affect the new price.

There is no sign of going back on its price. I had a dream last night that bitcoin will make a price history again and i am expecting it to touch 6k dollar or a wild guess 7k dollar before the year end. Nobody can stop the king bitcoin unless we stop using an internet :D

I've read some news and they said that the highest price record of bitcoin is the price today which is $5200-$5400. They are expecting that it will last until 5 weeks, so be ready before 5 weeks and check bitcoin price if it will dump again.

I thought that this week was the bullish trend for bitcoin, I doubt it will continue next week. and don't you think $4,5k was too deep if it retracing backward? probably its above $4.5 as a low resistence, before or after the fork. and people are still wonder, does the next fork will give them another free air drop, just like bitcoin cash. And after seeing the price thouching a new ATH, I believe there are many of those people who believe it will happen again and they have created a big buy wall for bitcoin. Iprobably, That's why the price are rising.

I'm expecting a huge price drop once the fork had passed. But I do hope it won't be back around $3500 though. Bitcoin indeed is worth the investment, I mean look at its price now. It's soaring up high.

The bitcoin price hit $5.690,00 today and keep increasing! What a surprise though, yesterday the price is still $5,000 and it will hit $6,000 soon. I think this positive trend will continue till the 2nd fork come. I'm holding my bitcoins right now and wait until the price hit $6k.

Some people predict that after $ 5000, bitcoin will fall. the cause is fork. Demand rises because everyone continues to buy bitcoins without making a sale. They expect the split to be repeated like a BCC. this is very rational.

As for now bitcoin already reach more than your expectation instead it almost reach $ 6000 which more than most trader's expectation
When bitcoin reach another fork, it may reach even higher so I won't be surprise if in the end of Dec , bitcoin able reach $ 8000

It has already reached $5800 which means it is just one step before the $6000 target. It will surely touch the $6k target in 1 or 2 days considering it's speed. There are still 12 days left for the fork and increasing at this speed BTC might reach $8k by the end of the fork. It is a well known fact that BTC will see a huge dip after the fork and may see at least $2k - $3k dip in price after the fork if it reaches $8k.

Based on current price it is stabilizing on $5600 and it is just 1 week before the fork and the segwit2x, so it may go up more to $6000+ before the 25th and after the fork price may go up or down depending on its result and if another fork will happen on November it may increase the price more.

The $5000 breaking was rather expected. It has gone there once in the last month but very quick only. I think there will be a retracement. Well, if you look at the movement of Bitcoin as of the moment, it has already stopped its high flying. Kind of stable in somewhere around $5,500. I think it won't go as down as $4800 though.

There is really a huge possibility of this as you have mentioned. Let us just say, before December we should be hoping to look at may be close to $9000 or a little bit more. A lot of things will change after this 2 forks for a while and we will see that huge development for bitcoin that we haven't seen before in the upcoming year that would skyrocket the value far more than this year's own. If bitcoin keep appreciating in this pace, I guess people here will not get surprised even bitcoin prices will hit one million dollars by 2018 itself.

of course, panic among Bitcoin users should not be observed, as it happened in August and before that. That is, the previous plug and the next fork of the 25th day can pass without special losses and stresses in the foreign exchange market. But how this will affect pricing is very difficult to say. In turn, I really worry, but I definitely will not sell anything. There is a hope that the split will only bring me profits.

Thinking the same way here, two forks are about to be launching. And with less than a week gap(correct me if I am wrong).
Yet I am thinking dips because there are a lot of newbies going to be scared. Then a skyrocket of the price, may be tripled the price today can be achieved by the end of the year I guess or start of the year.
Price predictions will always be possible with the influence of investors. The more people use bitcoin, the faster it will grow.

There is a hope that the split will only bring me profits.

And how do you exactly plan to achieve this? The only way I can see this become reality is when you own a decent amount of Bitcoin, which will then result in you to have an equal amount of BG. And then you still depend on BG to have a decent exchange rate initially, which I highly doubt. The best profits will be made when you get credited BG on-exchange and sell them at that moment -- BCH went even over 0.4 BTC on its first trading day, but there is no way I can see BG do the same. People might be lucky if BG tops 0.05 BTC.... Not much to get excited about unless you're a larger BTC holder.

when many speculate that bitcoin gold will be the same as bitcoincash at the beginning of its emergence, I think it will not be as expected, because at this time a lot of people who hold bitcoin to get bitcoingold for free, therefore I think the appearance of bitcoin gold is not would be like bitcoincash that gets a big advantage. and 0.1 I think is the highest price for bitcoingold

Mark my words. Bitcoin Gold will disappear without a trace. It will have a fraction of Bitcoins value at the start and when people start dumping, its price will go to zero. the lucky ones will be those who dump quickly.

Its still trading above $5600 clear indication that the price is not going to increase, or if is going to, maybe just a couple of days before the actual fork similar to Bitcoin Cash. I think most of the traders have already cash-in during the slumping about a few days ago and then are not going back to the market but keep on watching it for possible opportunity to buy it at cheap and do shorting. Let's just enjoy the ride going on the hard and maybe just do a proper response to the market, (buy with their is a dip, hold when the price is going up.)

That expectation of air drop might also be a reason for bitcoin's pumping of price.Investors expect some free coins in their wallet, the bitcoin gold. But just they don't understand that the situation would not be the same as it was during bitcoin cash hard fork as it had some mining pools support and bittrex exchange support. But this time,no such miner support is found. Also,it is said that in bitcoin gold, the mining algorithm would be changed so that it could be mined with GPU systems. So,don't know clearly how transactions would be carrie out and how long it would exist.Just people awaiting for a free bullshit coin bitcoin gold. That's it.

Though the price pushing takes place periodically, often the price decrease too is taking place. This gives the traders the opportunity to make good profit. After reaching the ath, now the price is found to move between the range of $7400 and $7100 and users tries the best to profit using the fluctuations.

We will still see bitcoin pushing further and will be breaching another high, let us always take into account that bitcoin is highly volatile, the prices fluctuates but the good thing is, though the price gets high, it still maintains a stron buying power and this is due to its traits. If we look back, the price of bitcoin went high because there were bitcoin enthusiasts, who seems to fond of collecting bitcoins back then, then years after bitcoin was.created, investors also joined in, and then now, we see banks, financial firms and even countries, who wants to have bitcoin and soon, we will see bitcoin being used as means of global currency, since the.acceptance is growing, making bitcoin a dominant currency.
