Title: Bittrex / Poloniex confirmations per coin
Post by: Newar on October 12, 2017, 12:37:42 PM
Has any one a list available, how many confirmations are necessary for each coin on both exchanges?

For bittrex: https://bittrex.com/api/v1.1/public/getcurrencies use your browser search function (Ctrl+F) to find MinConfirmation.

For Polonix: https://poloniex.com/public?command=returnCurrencies same but search for minConf

FunFact #1
You can use http://www.convertcsv.com/json-to-csv.htm to export the JSON result in .CSV or excel file and have it more like a "list"

FunFact #2
You can visit the links above with latest version of Firefox. It has a JSON parser which will make it pretty (more human readable) and you can also filter the results.

I think this is what you need to find:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Z08bzyoyZqVp9zLLvL8LU26X1NUw13c9fxNRKbedoJE/edit?usp=sharing
File > Make a copy...

That's the list for Bittrex on the first page and Poloniex is on the second page.

Nice spreadsheet, but maybe you should also bookmark the other 2 links (or this thread), because the number of confirmations changes sometimes. And ofcourse, the exchanges update their own info, but not that on the spreadsheet  ;)

Technically you can automate the google spreadsheet too. Check out how you can parse JSON into a sheet.

It all depend on the coin or token you want to deposit on the exchange and the number of confirmation is an internal policy of the exchange and not thesame for both exchanges

Much obliged!  ;D

The JSON converter you mentioned seemed to struggle with the Poloniex data, but https://json-csv.com/ did the trick.
