The issue is that I've forgotten the password, however, do have an idea on what it might be.

There is an amount of BTC I've put in cold storage back in 2013. Then I imported (not swept) the cold storage private keys to this old wallet back at the same time.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to access these imported private keys now due to forgetting the password.

I'm still able to access all data from an older version of Electrum; Just not able to access my imported keys due to a password wall.

If there is anyone that can crack this I'm offering a 1 BTC bounty/reward.  

If you don't necessarily want to crack the pass but can walk me through it (i.e. JTR Jumbo) then the reward stays the same.

P.S. I own this wallet and have the seed. These imported private keys are from cold storage; these keys are not 'swept'. I need my password to access them. This is the reason for the 1 BTC reward.

P.S.S. Not looking for 'tips' or cracking wallets in general. Looking for a specific solution to my conundrum.

Oh, I see,
first of all, go and check how many files you have in your wallet folder.
C:\Users\yourpcname\AppData\Roaming\Electrum\wallets

of course, there will be more that one, default_wallet and wallet_1
make a backup of all the files.

All the instructions are already given there even if you need help then you can PM me or post here.

Do you have a copy of those imported private keys somewhere? Search for it.

Other than that it's the same thing we advise all people with lost passwords:

1. Open a text file and start typing in whatever you remember about the password. Maybe you used the same password everywhere? Write down whatever ideas you have about it.

2. Try the gurnec script linked above or use the services of walletrecoveryservices.com . If you choose to go with the latter then share that text file with Dave so he has an idea what passwords you might have used. Otherwise it's a stab in the dark for him.

That's all there is to it.

That looks more like AES256 encrypted text... looks nothing like a "seed"... or is that the output from the extract script that comes with btcrecover? ???

Just curious about this, hope this don't happen to me in the future.

Does this mean that anyone can recover your wallet from another electrum account using the seed and the password?
Since you provided your seed if someone guess the password or by chance cracked your password will he be able to
access your wallet if then that means he will get your bitcoins right?

Does electrum has a security wherein it limits the number of attempts on entering a password?

If you have the seed, you can just import it on Electrum and manage the wallet.

But anyone can access your wallet if they provide the correct password. Or restore your wallet if they have the seed.

The issue with OP (if I understood correctly) is that he can restore his wallet with his seed, but the address that has his Bitcoins was imported manually afterwards. Meaning that there is no way to recover the address without the private key or password to access the already existent wallet.

They don't.

Electrum uses AES-256-CBC for encrypting the wallet file. this includes private keys and seed.

you don't need to do any of these.
you already given what you claim to be your encrypted seed.
but you need to explain about your password. how long it is, what characters it contains, does it have lower case and/or uppercase letters, does it have symbols, is there any meaningful words in it or are they random chars,....
answering these narrows the search and makes brute force possible. without knowing any of it your password may be :

it is a fools task to even begin to break the last one for example!

If you notice, i have sent you several messages regarding your wallet and i am closer to break the key by using my ultimate electrum script but seems you are moving someone else's encrypted key here and there.
