COTI is starting its official bounty campaign. The campaign will reward its supporters with $232.5k worth of COTI tokens and an uncapped amount of tokens for referrals . The program will run until the end of the ICO. Rewards will be distributed 60 days after the token sale ends. In order to participate in the COTI bounty campaign Bounty Hunters must submit their work through the Bounty0x.io bounty management platform.

How to participate
 
We will distribute over $230k worth of COTI tokens to Bounty Hunters. Our bounty program is composed of the following tasks: Articles, Bitcointalk signatures, Facebook likes, Twitter retweets and YouTube videos.

To contribute, Bounty hunters must visit alpha.Bounty0x.io (https://alpha.bounty0x.io/embed/host/COTI) and submit their completed bounties under the ‘COTI’ tab. The submissions will be checked and rewards will be automatically paid out 6 weeks after our ICO ends.

As an extra, we are offering contributors to the COTI bounty campaign, the ability to receive a referral code. Bounty Hunters can claim a referral code at Bounty0x.io and promote it anywhere they want. Bounty Hunters will receive a 2.5%commission every time an investor uses the code to contribute during the ICO period. Investors that use a referral code will also be awarded an additional 2.5% discount.

Bounty hunters will be rewarded based on the number of followers they had at the beginning of the campaign.

YouTube, 15% or $34.87k worth of COTI tokens


In the YouTube task, bounty hunters will be rewarded for making videos about COTI. At the end of the campaign, we will check how many views the video had and will reward its maker accordingly.
 
50 - 500 views: 100 youtube_stakes
500 - 1000 views: 200 youtube_stakes
1000 - 2500 views: 400 youtube_stakes
+2500 views: 800 youtube_stakes

Only posts on Medium, Steemit, Reddit, authority sites (Cointelegraph, Coindesk etc) and personal blogs will be accepted. Additional requirements will be defined to ensure that only quality content is rewarded.
 
At the end of the bounty campaign, all articles will be checked if they meet the minimum quality requirements. Based on factors like shares, views, upvotes and the authority of the site, we will assign every writing to one of the following 3 categories.
 
Article has to be very high-quality written.
Your article must be unique. It can not be a copied and pasted article.
It must be written in English.
It has to be published publicly. Private articles won't be accepted.
It must be 500 words long or more.
It must have a link to our website; COTI
We reserve the right to consider any article not eligible for this campaign, without giving any reason.

For Facebook: you need to submit every link of each like and share of official posts from the official COTI page.
In the "comments" section, you can write whatever you want if you think there is a need for a comment. But this is not mandatory.

From what I see here and in Bounty0x, the COTI team stated that in the Twitter bounty, contributors are rewarded for actively retweeting COTI’s tweets. However, they do not specify the number of the RTs per week.

A stake is a part of the allocation to this specific bounty program. For example, on the Facebook bounty, we allocated $46.5K worth of COTI. When the token sale will end, you will get a share/part/stake of this total, according to how much others participated in it as well.
This was made this way to ensure that everyone who participates in the bounty will get a fair share and there won't be one person getting the supermajority of tokens.

I followed the COTI Twitter profile and I submitted the link to my Twitter profile on Bounty0X probably a month ago but it still displays 'pending'.

Is the Bounty0X system detecting my retweeting activity while my profile is 'pending' approval?

It is normal it shows pending status. This is because the check will be done automatically by the bounty system at the end of the token sale only.

Yes this is normal. The button there is called now "participate" and not "submit". If you already put your link there you won't see it again as in any case on twitter's bounty you only need to submit once the link of your personal twitter profile.

There is no any link related to submisson on Bounty0x (for COTI twitter bounty). Just phrase that I am a participant for this bounty.

The bounty for Twitter is the simplest. The only link you need to submit is the link of your twitter personal profil, and only once! The rest is checked automatically by the bounty system.
This is why, now you cannot submit links anymore, cause you already submitted the link of your personal Twitter profile. All good.
However, if you have a doubt, you can directly contact bounty0x to check directly with them on a technical aspect.

Jay Clayton, the Trump administration’s appointment to the top position at the SEC, has been rightly described as a “crypto Skeptic-in-Chief”. Bloomberg notes, “despite his free-market credentials, Clayton has embraced a go-slow approach.” Undoubtedly, Mr. Clayton and his SEC will do their best to make sure crypto’s fun in the sun ends soon.

I think who would choose a cryptocurrency that costs fees or is slow if they can have it free and instant. Additionally when the network overflows with users every blockchain reaches its limits pretty fast because of vertical scaling. COTI on the other hand is simply superior due to the nature of the DAGs horizontal scalability and ability to grow with the increase in users

Joined your bounty. I also wonder how many posts can be duplicated on Twitter and Facebook daily. And the system itself is very interesting. This is clearly more convenient than the tables.

Each project requires different resources and personnel - and are subsequently completed and different stages and it thus difficult to give you a “percentage completion” estimate.  (However, you can refer to our roadmap for guidance).

Without taking into account the above factor, the project focuses on the huge market for payment services and online commerce. The potential for business scalability and hence the growth of the value of the token is high, and it could further increase as online trade and transactions continue to grow.

COTI is a gamechanger just like IOTA. Imo even more revolutionary since it targets merchants and individuals instead of only the big industry players:

Are these servers comparibale to IOTAs coordinator? IOTA is aiming to deactivate the coordinator sometime when enough transactions in the DAG are available. Is Coti aiming the same some time? When not, what is the difference to IOTA/constructor?

The process outlined above requires each new transaction to select two prior source transactions to validate. In the COTI network  the algorithm for effectuating this choice is based on the Trust Score of each transaction  see Section 6 . According to this Source Selection Algorithm  a source will likely choose prior transactions that are close to its current Trust Score. The cumulative Trust Score of such a chain is the sum of the Trust Scores of all the transactions making up the chain.
