Hi everyone,

I've been trading crypto currencies for a couple months now and since its been going well for me, I thought about creating a website to document my crypto trades for the next year. My goal is to make 50 bitcoins in a year starting tomorrow. It may sound crazy to most but I do believe it is possible.

I plan on sharing my daily trades as well as experimenting with different trading techniques. I will be sharing the losers, the winners and probably some expensive lessons lmao.

Anyways, I'm halfway done creating the website now and thought, would anyone even be interested in following this kind of journey?
I would absolutely love to know. If not, why wouldnt you? Any insight or feedback on what you would personally like to see would be much appreciated.

Do it, I will love to see a journey like that, the only issue is what is your starting capital, how high do you want your ROI to be? Because 50 bitcoins is a lot of money and unless you have a decent amount to begin with your trading career it is going to be really difficult to get to your goal, I will wait for the link and I’m going to follow this thread and I’m sure I’m not going to be the only one.

While this would be interesting to follow, it seems as if one of those things that would never happen. Though I guess this also depends on the amount of money you're going to be putting in at first, cause 50 bitcoins profit is nothing if you're trading thousands on the daily if you get what I mean.

But like, if you did something like $100 to one Bitcoin over a year, that'd be insane and a more realistic outcome (Even if that is like a 5000 percent return)

I'd watch it and follow it though, youtube videos and something of a thread on here would be nice too.

As btc soars up, it seems gaining btc becomes harder and harder, 50 btc is impossible, its a huge money, But we are looking forward to your goals and hoping you will able to achieve your target, More eyes on you. Good luck..

Very interesting, and I like what you share will be very useful for traders. some people want to benefit from trade but, being a trader is not an easy thing.

the idea sounds great, really. But do you have any trading experience, or is it the first time you get invovled into trading? If you expect to make 50 BTC without prior experience in trading I would suggest to set a lower "goal" as it's even diffidcult for professionals to make such returns in over a year. Other things that depend upon whether you make that return is how much you are going to invest, you haven't told us yet. Will you invest one bitcoin and make it into fifty or fourty-nine bitcoin and make it into fifty, big difference :)

it is not that crazy, I also believe it is possible.
in fact I also have a plan like this to make a large amount of bitcoin in the near future. although my plan is to increase my monthly bitcoin income through different methods including trading. my goal is 2BTC per month as a start and to move up from there.
in case I were successful I will share everything here too.

yeah, I would love to see something like that as long as it is honest sharing not an attempt to pump what you bagholding. and I have seen quite a lot of them so far, people say they are just sharing their trades by in the end you see they were bagholding some altcoin which they wanted to get rid of.

I don't think earning 50 bitcoins in 1 year is possible, that is 280k $... To win big amounts you need a nice starting capital and probably will need to take some (big) risks.

Nothing is impossible, but it mainly depends on what initial capital you're going to trade with.

I have tried something similar in the past, where I started with 0.1BTC to work my way up to at least 1BTC, but I found out that with only Bitcoin trading, this is quite a difficult goal to achieve ~ I stopped at around 0.24BTC.

Altcoin trading offers more variety and higher potential short term gains, which should allow you to reach your goal much sooner compared to when you solely trade Bitcoin, but you're also exposed to higher risks.

If you update your blog on a daily basis, and that consistently throughout the months, I am fairly sure that you'll get a whole lot of curious people that will follow everything you do very closely.

Rough to do these days.  It can be done, by the supply and demand is very one sided right now, and you would be on the same side as most others.  If you are restricting the 50 BTC returns to nothing but trading, then you need to be pushing high numbers. 
One year from now, the BTC price is likely sitting at around $7500, each day that passes makes that price higher and higher, so your goal stretches further and further as the numbers pop. 

Nice write up and I really like when you say that you do believe its possible so go for it. I will try and watch every step you take and even at losses we can still learn from your journey. I think you can share valuable lessons as you go along, not only for those who have experienced in trading already, but those who are still a newbie and just starting their journey as well. Don't worry about those who said that it can't be done. Don't listen to them because if your mind says that you can do it, then its really possible. I can't give you feedback right now because we still haven't seen the website yet, but will feedback once its running and see what's missing or what we want to see.

How much capital you have to begin with this journey? I'm no expect in bitcoin trading since I have quit long time ago, but I think you will need like 5%-10% capital to start with. No one can stop you from pursuing your dream and I'm not saying that it can be done, but you may have a few bumps that you will face along the way.

Do it and you will be surprise at the number of followers you will have with your journey. Lots of people want to be able to find someone they can learn from and probably use that basis to learn too. So, having something like this will encourage them and I will advise you move on with what you want to do.

That's a really good idea and yes, I would follow your website for sure. I assume you are planning in placing some adds in the website for some extra profit, and maybe referral links for the trading platforms you will be using right? Because if not, I think that doing a record of your trades in the forum would also be a good idea, and there would be no need for the site. I think that the discussing about your trades would be easier in a forum than on a website.

It's very interesting project and a personal challenge as well. If things go well you might attract a lot of followers along the road as well. Sharing your experience and knowledge can be beneficial for others as well.

Keep the goal for 50 bitcoins but accept all the tokens and altcoins which you get for your work. They too will have good value in the future.

This is a good idea if you want someone to see your trading record and could get any benifets from it. I am impressed with the target you have set for yourself to earn in a year from trading. This is not impossible nor are you the first person to set such a target but my question is about your investment? I mean how much capital amount you have to start your trading with? It will need quite a huge investment for anyone to reach this target.

50 BTC is surely big and you will definitely need some pretty big capital too to be able to achieve that. Since the OP did not state his initial investment, or probably he will do later on, we might just have to assume he is going in big time. Waiting to see how it turns out.

You could start a Telegram channel for now and post your advices there, that would be helpful :) then you"ll have some followers for  your website also , anyway best of luck, I have set similar goals, not so much success yet though

50 bitcoins may sound almost impossible to get for some, but it's as simple as multiplying "only" 25 bitcoins times two. And we have seen plenty investment possibilities where you could easily get 2x within weeks. And that 25 is "only" 12.5bitcoins 2x. And so on and so on. I don't know the details of the strategy but if it involves altcoins, we have seen multiple examples that went even more than two times within week. So the key is to choose the perfect one and to not make any mistake if going all in with your bitcoins.

I think it's a great idea for you if you can give me the blog address so that I can learn something from you but with 50 bits is a pretty big number in a year but Everything that I can trust you I will follow and learn from you please give me your blog address

Go for it.  I think it's not only possible, but your journey there would make for interesting
reading.  Wouldn't you be worried about giving away valuable trading tips, though?  You
might not want to give away your 'secrets'.

I do think it's a good idea, because I'm a strong advocate of journaling and blogging.  I
think it's a therapeutic activity, and other people might find some value in what you write.

Even if he does not achieve his goal it is going to be very interesting to see the journey, because even if he does not reach 50 BTC but it reaches 30BTC then that is fine then that means that reaching his goal will just be a matter of time, obviously the journey could end up badly, but it seems he has some experience in trading, not much but it is better than nothing so that scenario is unlikely.

Judging from your desire that this is something that is very unusual in making things better again. Indeed a plan is the most beautiful thing to do, because we can think about something that may not happen and even otherwise. Just one thing that you have to have are indeed consistent, because if you can't do it's for sure everything will end up in losses and just a dream
 

Sounds fair enough but I have a question for you. How you think you will get 50 BTC front he blog. Are you going to make ads over the blog or are you going to get money from the traffic that is being generated. I mean 50 BTC is a lot money dude and with just blog no one can make that much money and it could take at least five years for sure. The thing is how and in what way you will generate the whole revenue. I’m interested in following your journey because that’s way big dream and it could make you millionair man. Why on earth do you think making 50 BTC in 1 year through trading is impossible? We can only say it is going to be an uphill task and would hinge on a number of factors like, a substantial starting balance, versed knowledge in trading, patience and discipline then inch by inch, life is a cinch!

Op, I like your spirit and looks like we have something in common. I have a similar project, hopeful for January and am a die hard believer that nothing you set your body, mind and soul to, that remains impossible! Go ahead! Yes you can!

I've also been thinking like you, but I never know where to start. Maybe you can inspire me by creating a website like you would. If seen from all this I think maybe your blog will get a lot of good response, at least you can give everyone a good science through your blog.

That would be an amazing source of information if that could happen. Reason is, everyone is getting to know about bitcoin but the main problem comes here. They don’t have any solid place or tutorials from where they can learn properly.

They search in news, google, magazine, YouTube, this forum ad much more but that is hard plus lengthy. So your blog will really inspire them.

Every teacher one way or the other always end up learning from what they are teaching as it makes them better and also learn from the students too. It is a wise step and one that could pay him a lot in the long run.
He has nothing to lose and if he eventually thinks it is valuable too much for him to be dishing out, he would have at least paid his dues and you will be surprise at the number of followers he would have had by then willing to pay him for his advice.

You are right but at the same time, wouldn’t that be anticlimactic? The OP was planing a one year long journey, so if he was able to make that amount of money in just a few weeks I will keep following the journey, but at the same time, it will not be the same thing since all the drama of whether the OP gets to realize his goal will be gone completely.

i agree that people said you need a high capital to start with, thought. If you dont, well, it probably wont be a year to accomplish your mission, it could be 3-5 years. But nevermind, you need to patient.

Its a good idea, actually theres this guy in instagram who screenshots his investments through Blockfolio and post in instagram username is @diaryofamademan. In your case you can post screen shots of your trade for the day and give a breakdown on how much have you earned on a particular token or coin. You can also monetize your blog by allowing banners from different dice sites or ICO's.

I do not know what your plan is and how much the amount of money you will invest in btc or altcoins is . But reaching 50btcs  in 1 year, I think it's too high. With the current btc price, 50btcs is not a small amount of money and you want get in one year, do you ever think it's a pretty high target and it's hard to achieve? That's just my opinion.

Many cryptocurrencies reached 1000 times of initial worth, so one can gain high profit, but I think, day trading  it is the wrong strategy. Go in longterm with a bunch of cryptos and ICO and hold them.

Yep! There are chances of making it possible practically but s majority said, it will need big investment as well. But by working hard and keeping spirits high, there is nothing that you cannot achieve. Maximum times what we think as impossible just needs a little believe in your dreams and all comes true. If you remain persistent in making this dream come true, you can own 50 bitcoin.

It's interesting to see how it works out for you. Many have already 3 years in trade and the maximum that they have collected up to 10-15 bitcoins. Now it is very difficult to accumulate such a quantity, knowing that each of the participants is the same as you and adheres to such a policy.

If the ralley continues there is no chance pocketing in 50 BTC in between twelve monthes. Just in a bear market the btc number grows on each rebuy on a lower level. The fork could change the general trend direction.

You can make a lot of money with day trading but it is not something that is for everyone since not many have the knowledge or the talent to be that good, however it is also not easy to determine which coins is going to be the next 1000x coin if it were that easy then we will all be rich, so only a few are able to invest in a coin when it is really cheap and then obtain great profits.

Breaking that into monthly goals evenly would not work for the long term.  I would plan on making the most in the early months, at the lower price.  You need just over 4.5 BTC returns per month.  Try for 10-15 in the first thirty days, 8-13 the next and so forth, that way if your first month's go well, they feed the latter months.

50btc ?? This is not a small number. You want to achieve 50btc, so how much money you invest? You can not just spend $ 1000 and want to reach 50btc (about $ 335K at the moment). that is impossible. And I think you need a specific investment strategy, certainly not a long-term investment plan.

of course These thoughts are favorable, but more for me they look like a fantasy. I'm very sorry that I did not pay attention to Bitcoin about 8 years ago. It would be nice to check your Blog how you're performing in day trading and learn some tips and tricks. I did try trading before (a few years ago) and it was difficult for me, trading every day requires a lot of free time not to mention the experience I don't have.
