Title: DASH mining is not profitable!
Post by: Brutalent on October 19, 2017, 03:22:17 PM
Hey guys i see this post on official Dash forum: https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/in-this-months-dash-mining-is-not-productive.17331/ (https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/in-this-months-dash-mining-is-not-productive.17331/)
Why Dash mining stop profitability? The Dash evolution safe this coin or it's a mirror for a dark scam? ???

Because a bunch of X11 ASICs came/coming out which are kicking the difficulty to the moon:

A couple generation of X11 ASICs are out for a while so GPU mining X11 is long pointless but now not just earlier generation ASICs got downgraded into doorstoppers but even the newest, current generation ASICs might not make their investments back considering some people still haven't gotten theirs and how flooded the market is.

We have Bitmain D3 (15Gh/s), PinIdea (17Gh/s), iBelink (10.8Gh/s), Baikal (0.6Gh/s), Innosilicon (30.2Gh/s) that I know of.

You should look into masternodes instead of mining. Masternodes give me a solid amount each day and I don't need to worry about how powerful my pc is.

How do you get into masternodes with Dash considering it takes 1000 coins; meaning over $300,000.  I doubt many people are ready to take that kind of plunge at today's prices.

How much does a masternode cost now and how much does it pay out daily?

This has happened to every coin that started out being mined by CPUs, then GPUs... and then when a few miners jump on board with ASICs, they takeover an instant majority of the hashrate. Even so-called ASIC resistant algorithms will eventually fall to this, which is the fate of Bitcoin Gold, eventually, if it at all becomes successful in the beginning. Where there's a reverse programmer, there's an ASIC waiting to be built.

Dash mining were extremly proftable the first 8 hours after the coin launched.  ;D

1. Within the very first hour over 500,000 coins were mined

2. Within 8 hours over 1.5 million coins were mind, which is most of the instamine.

And it can be verified with a block explorer.

Masternodes? They are very expensive! The save of this coin is to buy. Increace buy, increace the price. For the Dash community: Save the Dash! Why does not the community invest in this problem? Save the Dash! Or this is the best scam currency in the world ...> :(

There are a lot of different opinions on whether dash is a scam or not.
Darkcoin instamine anyone?

It'll be much harder to exchange this coin for profit daily because there will be a small portion of people mining the coin..

Yup like what most people said. A bunch of x11 asics has been hitting the market from a few different companies. So difficulty have sky rocketed. But it doesnt mean it is not profitable to mine dash.
It will just take a lot longer to roi, not what everyone thought.
I can honestly say, these last 2 months has been crazy on the x11 networks. Its been raped and abused. Lol.

That's correct.  Once ASICs are introduced, it's just a matter of time before your profits shrink or it is no longer profitable to mine.  Funny thing is, when Dash also known as Darkcoin first came out, it was highly advertised as an ASIC resistant coin.  Times have changed.

Once ASIC miners find their way to a coin, GPU cards retire.
That's a general rule. Because ASIC are of much higher mining power and capability. A single one of them is equivalent to more than 10 gpu cards.

Which means that the difficulty sky rockets to the moon making it totally unprofitable for gpus. That's just the same scenario with bitcoin mining back in 2010.

Hopefully ASICs aren't created for equihash or ethhash. I have no idea if it's possible or not. *fingers crossed*

Why the community not create a fork like Bitcoin Cash? This is a possible solution.... ;)

There is no community.. there are 20-30 members of the Evan's cult clan who own the 90% of the masternodes..
That's why.

Soon? Lol ibelink dm22g has already been shipped.  8)
Baikal 10gh should be coming soon. They rarely dont make deadlines.
Innosilicon 30gh, lol lets hope they keep up the great work and reputation and delay till end of december.  ;D
I really wonder if any new miners or models will be released Q1 of 2018. Lets hope  bitmain chased all these company out of business and they cant produce any miners. Let us roi first.
