To the people that can't get the wallet to sync, go to the first post and copy the list of nodes, go to %appdata% in your pc and look for bitcoin planet folder, then inside open the conf archive named bitcoin planet too and remplace it with the list you copied from here.

all algos work in different ways and the mechanisms to each too, orphaned blocks just happen and are one of those things, you can't stop them and some algos have them far less often and some have them more, they really are absolutely nothing to worry about, except that everyone that sees them wonders why they're not getting coins, cos... who wouldn't like more coins eh? but no, they're common

Hey dev I see that the premine is 5% here and that is actually a reasonable premine my only question is how much of that 5% is being airdropped out? Is it a one time 50 coins x 1500 people distro?

Dev I'v got a problem
I have old wallet 1.0.0.0 now I've downloaded a new version but i get en error
"wallet.dat is damaged, recovery unsuccessful"
I deleted all from roaming\bitcoinplanet folder except wallet.dat.
So - how can I get my wallet work with new version?

Try exporting private keys from debug console  - "dumpprivkey XXXXXXXX" type your wallet address instead of XXXXXXX in your old wallet (v 1.0), and use "importprivkey YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY" in new wallet (paste numbers you gett from dumpprivkey command)

Did you try to synch the blockchain again from scratch after removing everything from your main folder except for the wallet.dat file?

Ok my new wallet problem was a error about the wallet so even renaming appdata coin folder and trying to install new wallet would still get same error. So, used another machine and great, work for now. Had sync problems but resolve by adding nodes to the conf file. Wallet is syncing and will add coins after lunch if synced.
The diference between to machines was that the first had a 64bit OS and the old wallet and the second a 32bit OS and a fresh install of the new wallet!
Will keep community informed so that this may help other! Get the discord running dev dudesssssssssss!

Ok got it! Old wallet seemed to be closed, but was still running so my solution is send coins to machine with new wallet then close old wallet and make sure it is not running in back round. Rename bitcoin plant folder in appadata\roaming and only then install new wallet, add nodes and then send coins!

However, one issue which seems to be persistent is wallet synchronization.
I've added list of nodes published on telegram, but no luck and still have difficulty in synchronizing last hours of a blockchain.
Any ideas why that might be an issue?
Wallet shows 23 connection, but hanging on '11 hours behind' for ages.

Why are people complaining about this coin? ???

I downloaded the wallet, added the nodes and it synced, mining was easy as well on https://lpool.name found blocks and got over 200 coins last night only using 2 GPU's (1060 & RX580)  Only thing hasn't worked yet is staking, wallet has been open 24 hours so I will wait another 24 to see if its working.

the current bitcoinplanet price continues to decline, I guess because many of the coins are unsure of the continuity of your dev project, therefore they sell it for a cheap price, perhaps with a roadmap update that you say will boost sales

its not only this token, almost all crypto currencies are going downward these days, except a very few number of them with very big plans and coming changes.
prices will be back to normal and no panic buy or sell in Q1 2018 and it can help all currencies to start the improvement engine

Just coming back to BTPL after about a year or so, upgraded to latest ver 1.0.0.1 client and it wouldn't read my old wallet.dat so i had to dump my privkeys and import them into the new client, now it says:
"Staking. Your weight is 160. Network weight is 44. Expected time to earn reward is 50 seconds"

...and yet I have not staked anything in the 24 hours since I opened the new wallet with the exception of a single block that staked yesterday and then was apparently orphaned.

Can't see any of those pictures. Did they disappear after being mined/staked...? If so, it's because the block(s) you mined/staked were orphaned which means that someone else had actually found the block before you but your wallet just wasn't aware of it yet. Once your wallet became aware, the coins were removed.

can't sync.always 2 or 3 days.and only POS block as far as i can see in a block explorer...
