Yes that is very good news.
Saying $5200 is too expensive makes no sense if there is no serious analysis behind. Remind me a friend of mine who knows nothing about Bitcoin, two months ago said to me "it won't go above 5k anyway", and here we are.
What some people don't understand is that 5200 or 6000 are just numbers, they mean everything and nothing at the same time, what matters is capitalization, demand for bitcoin and nothing else. Will the demand for Bitcoin decrease in the future? Ask yourself this question and decide what to do!
To answer your question: there could be some small correction, it could get lower to 5k5 again or finish the year at 7k, for me this does not really mean anything since my target is for year 2020 or so.

Honestly it is too expensive to buy at this point. The rocket has flown and is at the moon already.

A good news for all of us holders I think it will continue to rise every other bitcoin fork , many people wants free coins so they actually panic buying this days  to have some free bitcoin Gold .

it's all depend on the pump,we need to know what is our peak right now.
i am waiting for a correction in a few days later on and if we're closing at $6000 or even more.
i believe in the end of this year we should see the price closing near that top.
but for now i can not estimate it,because Bitcoin price will be pumped or in bullrun right now.

This is a very well said explanatio when asking when you should sell. Right now, people are talking about price and really analyzing. But one thing to remember is that Bitcoin has always been volatile and sometimes people might be over analyzing the price and forgeting the main factor which is the supply. Remember the Bitcoin mining for supply is not forever. And we as investors should determine for ourselves on when do we think we should buy or sell.

Yeah, the demand for bitcoin is absolutely increasing more and more nowadays well in 2018 it might rise even into 7500 USD that would be awesome men. Take time to but bitcoins so that we consider them for trading in the future then it will result to a higher rate of return to us that would a smart move for us investors wouldn't you agree?

The president of world bank is correct after all $5200 is really expensive. However, they don't know how our ecosystem works. And about a few days ago, bitcoin price dip to $5200, for us in the crypto market its a good buying point and not that expensive. And that is less than a week. So it you calculate it, buy 1 bitcoin at $5200 and then the price is getting closer to $6200 now, your money already takes almost $1000 profit for less than a week. So even you buy at that price, and for those people outside who thinks its expensive, tell them that the price is above $6000 and you already pocketed  $1000 already for buying it at a price they thinks is expensive.

i would go with $7000 mark value is the most near truth price we can get this year, and because of the impending Hard Fork we can see another Decrease with the price of bitcoin but I think it will be an slight correction because I think that many users will sure hodl with their btc to sure get free coins with them, and I think my estimate fall back is with $4800 or $4500 and if the price fall back to further lower price that means there are still panic happening with some users.

Probably market won't be closing at higher price since the rocket has flown to the moon already. Bitcoin price will probably sit at 5500$ considering that there will be a hardfork soon this month and might contribute to the dumping prowess. People might want to sell some bitcoin after selling or getting some free bitcoin gold. It will probably dump to sub 5200$ or lower depending on market movements by that time. I might be wrong after all, this is just a speculation.

6000$ level can be potential support line.After fork price will decide where it wanna to head and everything will be clear after this date. As traders we need high prices to sell and low prices to buy back  ;)

always when i try to buy BTC i say price is too expensive but found next day price is cheap

It's too expensive for them but I guess they took the chance of buying it because that's probably the dip for this year. As we are now in the new ATH record of $6,000.

I thought that $6,000 will happen on December but it's quite early to see it and the hard fork isn't yet to come so there's a lot of thing that can happen anytime from now on.

Never mind what the world bank president says, most of these statements are designed to drive the price down.The important thing is what holders think and do with their coins, if there is a dump, the price goes down, if they hoard it, it increases. Its all abut demand and supply, and not what some guy in come bank thinks.

Thank God there have started to understand bitcoin and the important of blockchain technology to our economic. Bitcoin has proved that we can have a system that even government don't support can be great and control the world financial systems. I have also see that we may see bitcoin above  $10,000 before end of this year. $6,000 is great and as at the time of making this post, bitcoin was around  $6,080.

It is actually adoption picking up, but there will always be a certain level of speculation that's baked into the market. I too believe that the market is overbought, but that's an impression I had when we went through the $4000 level already. Nothing wrong with liquidating some of your profits - I have done that just above the $6000 level today, and will liquidate some more very close to the $7000 level (if we do happen to reach there any time soon). I always do that in small quantities of 5-10% per time. If the price happens to go up, I will continue to benefit with enough coins in my trading stash. If the price tanks in the coming days/weeks, I benefit by buying back at discount rates. :)

I think this year is likely to end up closing at around 6000-6500, I expect the price will fall slightly on the 25th but will then begin to climb again in anticipation of segwit2x.

This month will be the determinant of how bitcoin will move in the future. Fork that happens in a few days will determine how bitcoin will continue to go or hold. if the market still trusts bitcoin then it is likely that the price will increase. but when the market is divided into 2 is the fear because of the appearance of bitcoingold then this can certainly create a negative stigma against bitcoin. some even mention that bitcoingold impact will be greater than bitcoincash. I will continue to try to calm down and hope a few days later when the market is stabilizing. because I think the same incident will happen later and in the end bitcoin price will continue to increase even though it had been held for some time.

Yeah price can go in any direction after the fork so if you have any plan to sell your bitcoins then this is the time as price is already above $6k which can give you best profits if you sell it now and if you wait and if price crashes after the fork then you will regret for not selling at this point.

Max to Max 7000$  per coin at the end of the year. Everyone is like holy shit bitcoin is now worth 6000$ and I to be honest expected that the markets are going to crash just like last time when it hit 5000$ mark and then you see the price of bitcoin growing more, that was indeed strange, and not enough theories behind it also at the moment. Do you think bitcoin price could crash before the end of the year and go back at around 4500$ because of the fork, fud or anything like that ? I mean, for different reasons, each times bitcoin reached a new peak (3000$, 5000$) the price has ended up crashing a few days later and came back 2 times stronger.

If i guess about this price that market will close in this year, then this price will be $8000, it is my finial price which i have guessed in my mind and i am sure bitcoin will be reached in it and we all get a profit from our bitcoins. That's why i am not suggest to anyone to sell your bitcoins, i have told to my friends hold your bitcoins till the last month of the year.     

This is just an beginning and bitcoin has lot to offer us in near future so even if price goes down in coming days hold your bitcoins tight and have faith in it as in long term you will only make good profits from it and bitcoin is an license for all of us to become rich in future.

We can still see better price, there's a lot of space for bitcoin to increase until the end of the year. I guess we'll see the same scenario that the price of bitcoin pumped on the first week of January. And I don't see anything on this year end but I'm focusing more on speculative ideas on January 2018 because that's the time that everyone will be back on bitcoin, mostly after the vacation days.

we are now seeing how whales wanted to dive down as the current value fell and its continuously doing it, we cant say whether it will hold and bounce back much stronger but until tomorrow we will see if value will fluctuate either up or down, but for serious investors its okay as we are really looking forward to see the value reaching 10k$.

Compared to the past few days today the price has gone low to $5700. Sometimes the same continues long taking the price fall lower than $5000. If such situations arise, user needs to be strong enough to hold back what we have in our btc wallets rather than tending to sell on fearing the chances of bitcoin going low in value.

What's the point of waiting? BG's snapshot of Bitcoin's blockchain has already happened, which means that people are free to sell their Bitcoins (if they bought them just for that purpose). Looking at the market, it's pretty clear that while people expected a correction, nothing happened. At this point it's just the regular bit of volatility that gets the market to move up and down. I am actually glad that the market didn't correct, because that would point out how greedy people are, and what risks they expose themselves to just to make a relative profit. Or..... People don't know yet that they can already sell their coins, which is even worse, because that would mean they don't know what they are doing.

Yess , and not all the bitcoins have been mined yet . "The Bitcoin mining supply is not forever" you've said it right , until then we will have seen how the markets have reacted and be at a better position to buy or sell .

The conclusion is that , Yes !! the price will soar to greater heights as the demand increases in the market and the more demand , the more it'll soar !! I've been an avid equities and currencies trader and I've seen how this "big boys" have been playing , and they are unhappy because they will not have control over the markets ... They could've at least tried to listen to the nerds when bitcoin was close to nothing but an idea , but now it's too late ... it's too late to stop it

That's because the market value of Bitcoin is continuously increasing each in everytime so it is becoming more expensive as time passes by and as its market demand is getting higher. Maybe it will be able to reach an amount of 7000$ or more by the end of this year if and only if the hardfork will be succesful because it will definitely be a factor just like the recent one and if the pump after the fork will also be continuous.

if $5200 is the lower price then we can directly buy bitcoin but if the price is going to go under $5200 then that price is too expensive and i am agree with world bank president said. we have to see the down of bitcoin soon after the fork but i think its just for the correction before the price is back increase and this time, i don't think that the price will go down under $4500. but i am waiting to see the price is reach the lower price so i can buy more bitcoin and waiting the higher price.

It would be normal to experience a price dip or price correction every now and then especially when the price gets too high. The whales would make some actions so that the price would go down and people can buy. With this kind of trend, people are unable to buy bitcoin. As compared to before, there is more demand for bitcoin because it has been gaining popularity this 2017.

It is then quite possible for there to be a price drop after the fork however I don't expect it to drop too low. Bitcoin has been continuing to grow and it will remain strong until the end of the year.

Bitcoin at certain time interval records new ath and after certain time interval once again starts to fluctuate. After the fluctuations once again marks a new ath or else starts to move downwards. Today the price has come down to $5600, which is expected to increase in less time.

It's now having difficulties to reach $6,000 back again but it's good if we are on a good stable price at $5,000 - $5,500 this is just a secured price for everybody. I wonder on what will be the effect of this hard fork, the price can come up to another better future if these hard forks will be successful and will give a good feed back to the community. well, I guess the current desire to see bitcoin prices above $ 6000 has faded. however, bitcoin prices are currently down. many of which affect it. and maybe it's a bitcoin gold. but I think that bitcoin prices will rise again.

The price might might close this year at the price around 7000 USD. However, the most certain price would be 6500 USD. A big resistance will build up as Bitcoin reach the 6.5k dollar mark so 7000 USD is somewhat impossible for this year. 6,5k is not that bad for the closing of this year, right.

Bitcoin is yet to be more expensive, cause as time goes on, there are more investors and people are getting into crypto currency, which means the demands are becoming more higher and which is also supporting the price of bitcoin on daily basis.

I'm expecting the price would be around $6500-7000 by the end of the year. Buy while the price is at $5500 because it will not be that low anytime if the price stabilize at $6000.

We are now back at $5,800 and still we are close to $6,000 so the price should be hitting that price first before seeing it go at $10,000.  This year is one of the most productive year of bitcoin nailing about 450% increase though every year has been an increase to bitcoin. But wait, you are hoping that bitcoin will be hitting $10,000 on 2018 and you are saying that $6,000 is going to be the all time high for the next 5 years? You should not think that way, 5 years is far from now and it can go more than that.

Bitcoin hitting $6000 is not a surprise. After the first fork, I understood fully then that this coin will be going places it terms of price. Expect it to hit $10 very soon. I suspect that by January, it will happen.

Actually it did really surprised me as I'm tracking the price most of the time. It surprised me when it was able to pass $2,000 then went up to $3,000 and so on and today we are now here at $6,000 that's something that everyone should be celebrating. And just to correct your expectation, expect it with the price of $10,000 soon. January is a good guess for that price but I think it's probably going to happen on the mid year of 2018 and not on 1st quarter.

Like most of people around the world, I was also excited when i saw that price went above 6000$. And I think it will continue to rise even higher. But because we do not speak of end price here, I will have to think for a bit. So, how much will Bitcoin be worth till the end of this year. I think that possible price would be in range of 6500-7500 dollars. I do not think it will go above 7500, that would be too much. But in Bitcoin world I guess everything is possible, so far at least.

No, in my opinion, with the current momentum growth of Bitcoin, I think the Bitcoin price can reach at the end of Q1 or begin of Q2 2018. Because in that time is the Lunar new year of some countries in Asia. Of course, one of large country has a lot of Bitcoin is China also need to have money for new year. Do you think the Chinese trader want to sell Bitcoin with low price? ::)

Me too Man. I had around 2450$ in Btc and wait to sell the bitcoin.
My instance say,the price raise more. So by believe that I had hold the bitcoin. I think, now I will get 250-500$ + as compared to the holding. Tomorrow the price may cross 6500$ I think. At this year end, the price will be 7200$.

I hope you've got a tongue and opinion of an angel and looks like we have hitting another ATH again. Try to check out the price, on preev the price now is $6,351 and I'm not expecting it will happen that short. So many tomorrow or this evening we will see bitcoin's price $6,500? And next month possible $7,000 and can even go higher than we are expecting? What's happening is exciting hopes that it will be continuous and won't give us any disappointment.

Congratulations to everyone who had faith in Bitcoins and waited till date as the value as now gone over 6400 to create a new ATH and we are creating new records everyday which is super-amazing. I never thought of this to become true (as faith can't become truth always) but it's like a dream come true. I feel that we won't stop till 10k but 7500 looks a better target for this year's end because big amount of investors are getting in and becoming the reason for the rally. Let's not stop here, let's not sell and make them buy for even higher prices.  ;)

Yes, bitcoin price is now very high and no one would have thought that in the beginning of the year bitcoin price is less than $1000 and now the price is way above $6000 and we still not yet at the end of the year. Though its gonna be a psychological barrier for most traders once its hit $6500, but we will see because its looks like we are heading to $7000 and who knows what will be the final price for this year.

I'm hoping it will rise at $6500 before the year end or there would be a correction of the price again. Well, $6000 is still the best price though i'm lucky if it will rise at $6500 before the year ends.

Well if that's going to happen on first - second quarter of year 2018 then let it happen. Those events you did mentioned are going to give a big effect for the price of bitcoin as those Chinese will mostly think about luck and investments so money will flow again next year.

We'll see many more ATH values from bitcoin if the trend goes like that. The demand is extremely high for bitcoin by the traders and society.

Today price is alreay 6700 dollars plus and for sure it will continue to increase the price so if you have extra money in your wallet it's better if you buy bitcoin now and for sure you will earn a lot of profit in the future. More bitcoin that you have more profit to come with you.

Price has passed $8k price today and still its looking good and moving in positive direction which is a good news for all bitcoin users who have invested their money in it at a right time and now the best thing would be to keep your bitcoins safe in your wallet and wait for the price to hit $10k which is likely to happen at the end of the years and if it reaches that price then that would be the perfect price to sell bitcoins and make huge profits.

We'll see more ath prices in bitcoin, just hold your assets and keep watching the market. Being patient will make us the good earners of the cryptocurrency field.

I hold mine until $65.000 within 5 years.

Imagine the price of bitcoin before is at $6,000 and now we are $8,000. The difference is real far and just after a week the price starts to pump. And this world bank president is really struggling to buy bitcoin at $5,200 and when the price reaches $25,000 he will still say the same thing. Still the price continues to surge and hoping that it will be stable at $8,000 and it won't never be back.

Exactly this the best price to hold and everyone was expecting that we will see this price at the end of the year but we achieved it very early and now it has given higher hopes to the people that it can go much higher at the end of the year and even if doesn't go and stabilizes at $8000 majority of users would be satisfied to hold their bitcoins at that price.

Achieving it very early does have some other things to happen in return. But still holding at this moment will still cause us two things, to see bitcoin hit good price or to see it went lower. And if you are that type of person that has that believe and trust to bitcoin you just have to keep on hodling. If you are not too greedy and you are good with the profit today, just sell it. It's more than 8k$ at the moment. LOL. Almost the predictions about Bitcoin before are wrong cause they think that Bitcoin couldn't reach to 8k$ till the end of this year. But IMO I think Bitcoin can reach to at least 10k$ till the end of this year.

I see the market will close in this year at $9000 to $10000 and it is confirm price and in this time bitcoin confirmly will reach at $10000 within 2 months only. Now we never need to wait for a long time to see bitcoin above at this price $10000, its mean now our dream will be come true.

Bitcoin value now in the market will never fall down, I think if this bitcoin value is crashing down maybe their price will play only into $7000 to $8000 only, because if you can see the movement of this crypto currency in the market it was strongly raising up.
Maybe sooner or later I expecting bitcoin value hits the $9000 to $10000 before end of this year, also I'm looking forward this 2018 I think bitcoin value were reach $15000 or higher before end of 2018
