How does the Lottery 11 work?

WHat is the difference between Wagger for example? And other lotteries

Wagger is a betting service. EtherSport will include player-to-player betting later, but the first product is Lottery 11.

This is a lottery with results drawn from sports events taking place in one timeframe. The difference with other lotteries, including blockchain-based, is that generation of drawn numbers is absolutely random, and can be altered if only players of 11 independent sports matches will arrange particular results :)

Other lotteries use either not-actually-random numbers or digitally generated which can be altered in most cases.

How does the Ethersport incorporate the blockchain technology ?

All lotteries are working as smart contracts on Ethereum blockchain, to ensure full transparency and possibility of controlling possible fraud by players themselves.
Also it allows to make operation of lottery automated.

To win the Lottery 11 at EtherSport you need to guess 7 to 11 correct results in the lottery ticket.

No requirements as of now. You create tickets, people play them if they find them. Basically, you will need to incorporate some image management to market lottery tickets you create.

The minimum corresponds to price of 1 token. I.e. during the ICO, minimum buy will be 0.005 ETH.

You will be able to suggest new sports and leagues after the platform launch, but you should keep in mind that these sports should be constantly covered by at least three independent media providing sports events results.

UK you say, I feel like people should know that such online activities in the UK may require Gambling License from Gambling Commission, which forces manual age verification e.t.c. Crypto or not, the law is the law and it means additional financial risk to your investment, keep that in mind. You can't be "fully independent from regulations" that's just so not true.

Great concept overall, great brand name and appearance. You are failing during pre-ICO because Lottery 11 idea sucks badly. 11 Lines to fill? Who do you expect to play it? Jobless sport fans only? Make several different types of tickets, starting with just one line. Yes, the win for these tickets would be small, but the quantity of players would be soooo much bigger. In order to succeed with such ICO, you should have created concepts of at least 5-10 types of smart sporting lotteries, including those where you can guess score. And you better have the code up and running already if you what to show that you've done your homework.

Website presents a lot of people in the team - so many advisors and no developers. No, I don't buy it. It is hard to believe that seemingly strong advising board came up only with idea of hilarious Lottery 11.

Will I play the ticket filling out 11 lines? No way. What if have just a couple of teams I care about? And I believe there are vast majority of people that don't care about everything that happens in sports. Couple of favorite tennis players, couple of football and hockey teams maybe. That's it.

I just feel like your legal department will have a lot of work to do in the coming years, because the company is granted to exclusively do general trading (which would be fine for a typical ICO backed project) but such company is not allowed to offer or get involved in any online gambling activities (according to your whitepaper that's basically the pure definition of it "EtherSport 15% For providing the platform, marketing, maintenance, determination and specification of results, regulation of arguable points etc") and the company gets dividend, sounds like a gambling business to me. If UK is already starting to crack down on loot boxes in games you can be sure cryptocurrencies are next on the radar, and they won't let you off the hook with a slap on the wrist.

Till now how many ETH has been collected the ethersport. I think few people are showing interest towards and it makes me to convince about the project. Can we find in  etherscan about the raised money?

The corporate structure of Ethersport is in the UK, and if the Ethersport's legal team deems that a gaming license is necessary, then there are multiple options for which Ethersports can source a license, be it the UK, Malta, Alderney, Gibraltar, Montenegro, or any other popular licensing jurisdiction or authority including offshore such as Curacao.

Licensed or not, I think that what makes this an interesting proposition is the underlying use of the Blockchain technology that will be driving this platform, coupled with the fact that it is using it's own currency in ESC. As far as regulation, most Governments are still in wait and see mode concerning Blockchain  and Crypto. Now if you are mainly pointing out the act of gambling, I see your point, but I don't think this is a show stopper by any means.

Reading your white paper... what means this last part??:

"Each month, till the 5th day, 15% from the collected amount in the “Lottery 11” will be
distributed among all the token holders, proportionally to the number of tokens each
holder has. Payouts are enabled only for those token that are out of the EtherSport
system. If the player has won, withdrawn the tokens and decided to leave them on
the wallet to get bonuses, then this token amount is added to all the token outside the

You simply will need to make any actions with your wallet at least once every three months, so we can see that you still own the wallet, and it is working, and you still receive the bonuses.

If your wallet seems like lost or obsolete, we will simply stop sending you bonuses as with an obsolete wallet the ecosystem will simply lose them and ESC tokens will inflate with no reason.

Your wallet is on the blockchain, only the private key for making actions with it is on the hardware wallet, so you can use it perfectly :)

ETHERSPORT'S STATEMENT ON ETH EXCHANGE RATE RISE COMPENSATION

Due to the controversial response of the EtherSport community to our decision to set the ESC token price during 4th ICO stage closer to a fair level, we would like to express the following thorough explanation.

The EtherSport’s ICO white paper contains the rules and algorithm of this ICO. The team was developing it in accordance with expectations of a stable ETH price of no more than $400. All the prices in ETH are outlined using this exchange rate and it was considered as obvious, regarding the then-stable ETH exchange rate. We consider the situation of the rapid increase in the ETH exchange rate to up to $510 a force majeure which brings the prospected token prices out of the reasonable margin. This is why we decided to introduce an additional compensation (i.e. bonus) for those who invest in the ICO without a reasonable token price, to bring the value of tokens they obtain to a reasonable and ordinary range. We only go for such measures for the sake of caring about all our investors and their comfort and to bring EtherSport back to progress. We admit that the EtherSport white paper lacks any interpretation of such measures, but it is still yet a force majeure for us which could not be foreseen with the stable ETH exchange rate during the time this white paper has been developed.

The EtherSport platform is built utilizing blockchain technology and Ethereum smart contracts. We also urge to provide a decentralized system which will not require any KYC procedures required by systems working with fiat currencies. Hence, we are forced to bond all calculations and ESC token to ETH first, instead of bonding it directly to USD and/or other fiat money. We know that most of our investors use fiat currencies for investment, using ETH only as an exchange medium. This is an essential situation for a project that doesn’t only count on cryptocurrency enthusiasts who have ETH naturally, but also targets a wide community of gamblers, lottery players, and bookmakers, who don’t usually have an ETH balance and make all their considerations in fiat money. This is why we say that the ESC price is tied directly to the USD price, and ETH is being used as a conversion medium only. Of course, when the Ethereum community will grow times more it’s currents size, this bond to USD will become obsolete and we’ll be able to omit it, but now it is absolutely impossible.
In case of the ETH exchange rate changes drastically again, we will implement similar measures based on momentary USD price of ESC tokens. Current 50% bonus corridor we have for the new-coming investors is at 430 to 600 USD per ETH. If the exchange rate falls below, we will cancel the bonus for new investors coming after that moment. If the exchange rate hits the next corridor of 600 to 800 USD, we will implement a further 50% bonus to obtain back the economically reasonable USD price for our ESC tokens.

All these measures are pulled exclusively for caring about all investors, including the latest ones, for the sake of getting the EtherSport community to stable growth and implementing the platform that will pay back our investors as soon as possible.

Just as planned, EtherSport is starting the prize-winning test lottery period from 00:00 UTC on 17th December 2017. We have allocated 10,000 ESC tokens for this two-month test lottery period, which will be divided into one-month periods. Each period, there will be three winners, eligible for 3000 ESC for the 1st place, 1500 ESC for the 2nd, and 500 ESC for 3rd place.

Each lottery has free tickets, and wins give players the points. A player who correctly predicts the outcome of 7 events in a line, will receive 1 point, 8 events will give 2 points, 9 guessed sports events will make players eligible for 3 points, 10 events for 5 points and 11 events will give players 8 points. This will be re-checked during the calculation of test period rewards using both login and IP data, and all violators will be excluded from the rewarding list.

The following lines, starting from 17th, will be considered as part of the 2nd month of prize-winning test period.

The arbitration line play-off that will select the winner of the 1st stage of the prize-winning test period will be held on Saturday and Sunday, the 27th and 28th of January, 2018.

The line will be published within 1 to 2 days and will be marked as arbitrary. Only the forecasters sharing the 1st and 2nd places, namely Vid*******@mail.ru and les*******@ukr.net will be able to fill it.

This line will not be related to any other platform users and will not give any points.

Both forecasters who are playing off the first two places, will be able to fill the line only once. The winner will be determined by the largest number of correctly predetermined matches, unrelatedly to their amount. In case of equal correct forecasts, a new arbitrary line will be presented in a week, and so on until the winner is chosen.

We are sure that this play-off is interesting to our community and lots of people will be following the arbitrary line results. Please follow the announcements on our site and media.
We would also like to inform you some great news for the forecasters who take part in the prize-winning test period.

Considering the high interest in the testing and high valuable activity on the platform, the EtherSport team have decided to INCREASE THE SECOND ROUND PRIZE FUND TO 10,000 ESC.
Hence, the prizes will be distributed the following way: 6000 ESC for the 1st place, 3000 ESC for the 2nd, 1000 ESC for the 3rd place. EtherSport Testing Rules Adjustment

Caution! This adjustment to the playing process applies to every forecaster and may change the lines outcome.

The EtherSport Lottery 11 smart contract has a fixed lifetime. It is programmed to stop and calculate all payouts within a few hours after the last sporting event’s scheduled end. If an event gets delayed and postponed beyond that point, the contract will not receive the correct result, which may cause erroneous prizes.

Previously, we have marked such delayed events as a draw or a victory of the 1st team, if the sport discipline can’t have draw results. As far as using this situation is not against the platform rules, it may be used for increasing the winning chance, which harms the fairness of the process.

To avoid this possibility, all lines after January 31st, 2018 will be simply cancelled in case of cancellation, postponement or a delay of any match in the line.

This change may be also applied to the smart contracts for following platform versions and to the EtherSport Lottery 11 ruleset, once we test it during the current prize-winning testing period.

SECOND PRIZE-WINNING TESTING LOTTERY PERIOD PRELIMINARY RESULTS

The second testing period is over. We congratulate forecaster vid... with 37 points and the 1st place and 6000 ESC prize. Forecasters mak... and les... have both gathered 29 points and will be provided an arbitrary line for the 2nd place within a few days. Forecaster mak... has also used some flaws of the system we have tested and helped us to point them out, hence we will not disqualify them, and will implement a solution to the flaw in future tests.

We would also like to offer forecaster mr... an incentive prize of 200 ESC for a valuable suggestion in the chat, however, expressed in an aggressive manner, which will lead to a ban next time.

The 5th place with 17 points is taken by zor..., the 6th place is taken by ket... with 14 points.

Considering the community requests, the EtherSport team is developing new terms to be implemented in the next version of the smart contract, including the much-requested ability to play jack pots and paid lines during the testing period, which are to be sold with Ethereum, Bitcoin, or any other digital asset. We will discuss our terms developments with the community in the nearest time.

Currently we are developing a new prize-winning test that will utilize deposits from the wallets for the following payouts, and e-mail authentication provided with the wallets. We have almost done the new version of the smart contract for that period. During the 3rd testing period the prize fund will be 300,000 ESC tokens AND 3 ETH! The exact rules of the testing period will be posted around March 25th.

As initially stated in the white paper, the project will be launched in any case, regarding of the investment raised thought the token sale. We confirm that we are moving according to the plan, and the first development efforts can be checked out in the MVP. Thanks to the MVP, we are investigating project’s moments, in order to fully and reliably implement the platform’s conditions into the smart contract and prevent all the possible problems. It is important to understand that the work of the projects powered by the blockchain and smart contracts significantly differs from the standard computational platforms on the web. And we are facing many problems with finding specialists who are working with the smart contract. We do not want to work on the project quickly and unreasonably, as it can later result in inconveniences for the forecasters and partners of all types, related with the specifics of the smart contracts. Moreover, the conditions of working with the Ethereum platform are constantly changing, which considerably extends the number of questions related to the project’s optimization that are being solved by our team. Despite this, all the issues are being solved by the Ethersport team in working order.

Considering the above mentioned, we would like to present the project’s development strategy. We understand that the Ethersport community mostly consists of 5 parties concerned:

• Partners who have purchased ESC tokens with a speculative aim;
• Long-term holders interested in the project’s development and long-term profits through preserving the project’s tokens;
• Project’s forecasters who are willing to get awarded: win the jackpot using their knowledge in sports, intuition and experience. We treat them as the main participants of the project that will be growing all over the world and is the fundamental part of the project;
• Forecasters who are willing to get the right to become the Lotters on certain conditions, release their forecast lines for the platform’s participants and get rewarded with commissions for their work;
• Project’s founders, the team interested in a sooner start of the project, getting commissions for their idea and efforts on creating the platform, as well as growing the market price of the ESC tokens.

The first two categories also include the bounty campaign’s and other participants who are working on the project and have received awards for their work.

We’d like to particularly point out that even through the aims of different participants are tactically different, everyone is interested in the platform’s launch, the growth of its users from all over the world and getting a certain profit from a successfully operational project. Thereby, it is understandable that the participants of the first category who are most active in terms of the token listing on the exchanges, have to understand that they can do harm to the whole project and its development through their intention to trade tokes. They should also understand that the successful development of the project drives the price growth of the ESC tokens, the holders of which they are. Ethersport team understands this situation well, which is why it doesn’t force the ESC listing on the exchanges up to the project’s test version release on the main Ethereum network and a fully operational smart contracts. However, the team is constantly holding negotiations with such platforms to get the most favorable terms of trading in future.

We’d also like to direct the holders’ attention that there are many people who would like to purchase the ESC tokens, even though there is no official possibility to do that.
After a detailed and public annex to the white paper, the Ethersport team has decided to continue the ESC token sale. We are confident that additional investment will assist in the project’s promotion in the world sports community, its advertising and attracting the maximum participants.

We are especially emphasizing that the Ethersport team has decided to give the chance to buy ESC tokens to all interested individuals, considering a large number of requests. The smart contracts is already prepared for that, and the price and other conditions will be published additionally.

We’ve also decided to combine the next stage of the platform’s prize testing with the ESC token sale. Everyone who is willing to get the project’s tokens can choose in which way they’d like to do it, either through purchase, or through participation in the testing, after making a certain investment in ETH. The direct token sale will start on March 26th, 2018. Approximately in the same time, it is planned to begin the new prize testing with a certain contribution. This testing will be partially held with using with smart contract’s infrastructure on the test network. Thereafter, it is planned to hold the prize testing only on a smart contract.

Within a month, after the 2nd Token Sale round is over, we are planning to list the ESC token on several partnering exchanges.

All tokens distributed within the Ethersport team will be locked up for 1 year since the platform’s launch. Moreover, 15% commissions from each line will not be credited to these wallets.
The participation in the platform’s prize testing will require wallet and email identification of the forecasters and contribution in amount of 0.01 to 0.02 ETH, depending on the prize fund of a certain game. The prize fund of the testing period will be 250,000 ESC and 3 ETH. There ability of participating in the testing only through the ETH contribution will be preserved as well.
The exact rules of the new test games will be published within several days. There will be 10 days until the testing for registration of the new participants.
