Between this thread and some PM's I've received, we've got 7 shirts "almost ordered" already :)

I think once people start taking the plunge and placing orders, others will follow ;)

Will the t shirt be durable enough for machine wash?  What I mean is the graphics won't come off because some washing machines are rough.

 Is there going to be a white version with black graphics?  Black is too warm to wear on golf courses.

The prints are very durable. These aren't cheap cafepress iron-ons; I use a massive four-station carousel press and professional-grade plastisol inks, and the final prints are fully cured at 320F in a conveyor-style drying oven.  You can machine wash them as much as you want!

I've been doing this for over two years, and the first shirt I ever printed still looks great :)

If there's enough interest in the black shirt, I may consider doing a run of white shirts as well. White isn't as popular a color, so we don't keep a lot of it on hand :)

It's a "euro fit", which is a lot nicer than the square, boxy shirts from cheaper brands.

For reference, I'm 6'2, 220# (188cm, 100kg) and I wear an XL.

I've had these guys sitting around for a while and can't find a good home for them.

These paper wallets feature a 4-color hand-silkscreened print on heavy 250gsm 100% cotton art paper. Just print out QR codes onto some sticker paper and apply :)

I will start preparing the screens for the press. If you've placed an order, please PM me your mailing address, exactly as it should appear on the package.

Once the screens are prepared, I will start printing and mailing shirts. I expect the first batch to be mailed out on Wednesday.

I'll keep the press set up for this job until NEXT Wednesday, June 19. If we reach 24 shirts by that time, everyone will be refunded the BTC equivalent of $5 for every shirt ordered.

Quick update for those of you who may be curious about the process involved in silkscreening fabric.

It all starts with a design in Illustrator:

The design is then printed onto clear film, with special high-opacity black ink:

The film is taped to a screen that has been coated with red photosensitive emulsion. The emulsion is thick, like glue, and dries in the polyester mesh of the screen.

The screen is then exposed to a bank of lights, in order to harden the emulsion. Any areas of emulsion where the light is blocked by the stencil will not harden, and can be washed away later with water.

After 20 minutes, I will be able to remove the film, and rinse the soft emulsion away with water. The screen then dries overnight before the next step.

The screen has been washed, rinsing away the soft areas of emulsion. this leaves bare mesh in the shape of our stencil:

Now, the screen must be left to dry overnight!

Before printing, the screen must be hardened once more as a precaution.

We then apply painter's tape to the frame, and add some ink.

The hardened emulsion will not let the ink pass through, but the bare mesh lets it pass easily.

The final step is to run the shirts through a conveyor oven, to permanently bond the ink to the fabric.

I got BTC 0.367 for two shirts in the OP, so BTC 0.367 should include the shipping fee for the seond shirt. Now I need to pay the third shirt for the additional $2, not $4, right?

A note about refunds

I had intended to refund everyone's $5 to their sending address, but realized that this is impractical, as many of the transactions had multiple inputs.

Hi folks, quick update.

All shirts up to and including BlackLilac's order have been printed.

I was hoping to start shipping today, but I've contracted a stomach bug that has kept me in bed most of the day. I'll likely start tomorrow.

I looked at that link for the "Size chart", but couldn't make head or tail of it.

I'm 5'6 and 70kg, but quite bulky (or so I claim) around the chest / shoulder / upper arm area. Is that S or M male do you think? 'Coz I'm short, some "M"-sized t-shirts can be too long which I don't like.

I'm going to order two, just can't decide to hedge  with an M+S or just get two M's. Any advice appreciated.

Thailand is no problem.

The shirts are pre-shrunk cotton, but they do shrink a tiny bit vertically after several washes. You might be better off going with two Ms!

Sizing update:

After I print the outstanding orders, I will be sold out of Mens XL and XXL shirts. I still have 10 Small, 6 Medium, and 2 Large, as well as a ton of women's sizes.

I'll keep this buy open until Wednesday, June 19, but we won't be able to get more black shirts in until late next week, so I'm afraid that's it for the XL and XXL sizes. Congratulations, they're now collector's items ;)

IMHO it would be wiser to send refunds only to people who explicitly confirm their address: no money risks getting lost, that way.

Hi guys, I just checked my records, and both of your packages were sent out on July 13. This was more than a month ago :(

I apologize for how long the packages are taking; apparently "surface mail" is much slower than I expected. The shirts are on the way, but I understand if you're uncomfortable with waiting for so long. If you like, I can return your funds to you, and you can send them back to me when you receive your packages.

I trust that they'll arrive: the big question is when.  ???

Non registered shipping is risky, though very few, if any, items I bought abroad got lost. However, shipping times are a longer than some years ago. Probably due to security scans.
Tomorrow is D-day. Hope I will get it then.
