Post by: Ucy on October 25, 2017, 06:37:22 AM
A Blockchain Patent Store...

Is there any demand in such project? I'm not a specialist but it seems like everyone is fine with centralized ones. I haven't heared that someone stole any data from a patent store.
Imho the main support of pattents is law. You need governments to accept your project to make it at least a bit valuable

This is a great project if it can be developed. I have read many projects whitepaper and nor has been writing on this patent store. If you can come up with a good roadmap I believe they are many people here that will like to invest in it. However you should develop this project or connect with someone who has a good skills and knowledge on how blockchain technology works and develop this project before the smart guy on the internet will copy this idea before you know.

Sounds amazing but is alot of job but with a good smart contract developer you can develop this without any problem

The concept of "patent" itself is contradictory to the ethics of decentralization ;D so the initial idea is just vague. When something is patented, it has to be monitored by a central agency and if violated the central agency can take disciplinary action or the patent holder can go to the courts of law and claim compensation. Whereas in a decentralized scenario, there is no such centralised body.
