Title: cclark80: attempted scammer, do not trade
Post by: xboxgames on June 12, 2013, 03:03:43 AM
Contacted me, wanted to sell 20 btc for 50.00 each lol.

He insisted I wesrn union him 250.00 then he send e coins, then I send the rest.  Really? Lol

I offered to pay full price and also pay an escrow.  He refused obviously.

Do not trade.  I'm sure he will be back with a new account later tonight.

WORST.

SCAM.

EVER.

As a general rule, it's insanity to send money for ANYTHING via Western Union up front. That's Nigerian-level scam.

So he PMed you out of the blue?

I messaged him, asked what he was looking for. He came up with this story.
