Post by: ramkumarsharma on October 27, 2017, 07:54:09 PM

No mate, dont do it, you are only going to face a huge loss in a few months or weeks, it doesnt matter at all.
Why do you want to invest in ico's? there are better ways to increase your capital, you only need some skills and a little bit of imagination, it is not difficult at all.
most of the new icos are being scam, you should try to be away from them if you dont want to have a big loss.. Or maybe you should try to invest a little bit more, i have never heard about those icos in where you have invested.

ICO is a interesting way to earn the money, but it always a lottery, so make investment based on few recommendations....I think it's to risky and not so good idea. Recognized a scam become more difficult each day, so if have money that you don't need - give it children's home.

Please don't invest because of my recommendation, but if you want to find interesting project and make your own investigation about it - u can look this article -https://medium.com/@confideal/why-will-confideal-ico-be-successful-ad293f09d7e1 (https://medium.com/@confideal/why-will-confideal-ico-be-successful-ad293f09d7e1)

many altcoin or ico, you can get this advantage, first DENT with token supply cheap price nowadays will have big impact on future, because some big company like oreedeoo use this token. next is Enjin and RCC, both ico is finished, the future will have a good price, because enthusiasts gamers use altcoin.

Yes there are some gems still, one of them is spectre. This is my favorite one. There is also Digipulse with unique concept and real use case. They are basically trying to make crytpo assets inheritable. They are providing the infrastructure that will interact with the smartcontract so you can safe your keys there, so it is like a bank. They don't own your keys, that's why their service is fully decentralized.  You can also run your own node and be a storage provider.

Well, it's hard to say as the criteria is different between people, for example polkadot, it's one of the massive project and have huge potential just like tezos, but then the coin won't be released in two years. So as a long term investor and willing to risk investment for 2 years, this might be a good one but not for every body

Why you are not considering to buy this token? https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/eidoo/ The price already over the ico price and i might increase in the roof after that already listed on hitbtc. Another suggestion just like universa which tries to develop the future platform with fastest transaction but i can't say that will be the number one because bitshares just need 1,5 second to do any transaction. But it looks good to be the future platform.

For me cybermiles looks extra promising just on the idea and platform alone. They partnered with 5miles to create a decentralized blockchain with smart business contracts and compare themselves to ethereum (https://medium.com/cybermiles/cmt-vs-eth-c7eea2b03632). There are features within the ecosystem that are very beneficial as well along with being able to mine their tokens.
Read their whitepaper:  https://cm.5miles.com/file/project/Project%20white%20paper_en-US.pdf

uTrust was one of the best ico's that was on this forum for months, but i dont know what is happening with this ico since it seems that it is having a lot of financial troubles in their country, and a lot of people are trying to claim and ask for their funds back because they think that this one is going to be a scammy project.
And also their tokens are so expensive, but, anyway, i will never trust in an ico, so you should look by yourself.
And those ico's that you mentioned, all of them are pure garbage, take care with them.

There are not good icos at the moment, a lot of them are becoming scam projects and they dont even guarantee to give their investors their money back if the projects does not succeed, that is why i would never invest in an ico at those moments. The only ico that i trusted was Waves, but it is no longer an ico since it is now on the top 20 on coinmarketcap, but i remember that it was so cheap and a lot of people loved waves.
What a memories..

Guys, In my opinion, bitindia ICO is one of the best at the moment. Its nothing but a bitcoin and altcoin exchange for Indians. Its 100 percent sure that its going to be a hugh success. But residents of US, China and Singapore cannot participate in this ICO. John Mcafee is the legal advisor of this project. So if you want, you can invest in this ICO.

Well, not a scam, but a ponzi. First people in profit, the last ones in hold the bags.

So after about 3 hours they only sold about 730,000 GRX tokens out of 12,000,000 available for the ico. Considering they previously sold 7,500,000 tokens to the so called strategic investors and pre-sale at deep discounts, I can see why people are not jumping in.

I'll keep an eye on the sale, but I'll probably skip this one.

Most of new ICOs are scams and you invest your money base on few recommendations. I must say It's a bad idea. Asking for recommendations is good but you also have to do some researchs yourself. I know a community is created for us to help each other but it doesn't mean follow other people is a good idea. Good luck!

I can't recommend any ICO out there because most of them not all are scams and money launderers basically just wants your investments then they were gone out of thin air they even put persons face to their website that is not part of their team that is from social media accounts without their consent or approval. It's pretty dangerous to risk your money to invest for them. I know there is a good ICO's and you can clearly count them. You need to do an extensive research for you to come up with the great ICO.

Yea there's a good one out there now in Qchain.  ICO just launched, still in the bonus 15% phase if you act quick (then down to 7.5% for a little longer).

Check em out at Qchain.co

Their website has their white paper up and you can find their demo here:  https://medium.com/the-qchain-blog/bighorn-alpha-release-qchains-advertising-app-demo-is-here-29675ee43591

Again, ad tech is one of the best applications of blockchain technology and these guys have a solid WP and demo. Also, they're incorporated in the US, which feels less like a quick scammy cash-in than so many of the sketchy ICOs out there.  Suggests that they are actually trying to build a company.

I advise you not to buy in such a way that ico advertisers are advertising to increase their investment in ico so if you buy that will have a certain risk if you want to invest in any ico If you do not want to lose money, there are many people who invest in ico without knowing that the ico has failed and they have lost money.

Well, it's a good thing that you are looking to get profits by investing your money than spending it for nothing.
I also used to invest also, but that was a few months ago. When i can clearly see great projects with great potential. But nowadays, all i see are scam ICOs or ICOs that are not more than a poor effort to get profit and dump.

What i do nowadays is just join bounty campaigns for ICOs that have great platforms and great teams. Yes i invest. But not my money anymore. I invest time and efffort. Amd this has worked out pretty well for me. Have traded all the bounties i received and invested into eth and bitcoin and hold which are far more sure than any other tokens out there.

1. Wireline
2. Litra Coin
3. CarTaxi
4. Change

And many other are also available but research about them before investing anything. ICOs can give us good amount of profit but some of them scam also so its better to do proper research about them then only invest.

Finding a good ICO is like finding shell with pearl. But you have to dive not into the blue blue sea. You have to dive in shit. Oceans of shit. Any way you have  good chances to increase your crypto portfolio.
I invest since this June and this is my newbie ICO list ) :

1. BQX (x10)
2. COSS (x2-3)
3. BMC  - bad price right now, but I will hold at least to 2018. And I think it`s still good idea to invest in it.
4. Qchain - I am pre-sale participant with XEM (and want to buy some Qchain tokens that developed on etherium blockchain). They have team, community and idea. Hope it will sucessfull too.

Check out Oyster.  They have a good dev, prototype and codebase established, and an awesome idea.  They need more support and funding to make it a reality and it could really pay off.  Basically they are trying to combine the Ethereum and IOTA platforms to not only offer decentralized storage but monetize websites as site visitors provide resources to do proof of work and data storage operations.  One of their goals is to offer an alternative to advertising while tapping into a massive amount of resources.  Adding the service is really easy using their javascript offerings, and it is up to users to chose whether or not to take part in this ad free experience.

So check projetcs, which have working product, and they make ICO only to scale their business. It`s just my opinion, but it`s logical i think:) Good luck!

It is similar to Eidoo, but asian based and with a stronger know how in fintech.

ASSETRON ENERGY - https://assetron.energy

Is currently in presale - 40% of final ico price.

They are developing Blockchain P2P Investment Platform for Renewable Energy - basically revolutions the concept of "Community Solar" and building a global crowdfunding platform for renewable energy assets.

The coolest thing tho is that they are the FIRST (research yourself if you don't believe me) company that will utilise the ICO funds to build a solar pv power plant in Australia -so that they also get revenue from a money producing asset and not fail.

You will see, as Vitalik from Ethereum said - 90% of icos will fail - well they will fail because they will run out of money before they get customers.

ASSETRON ENERGY can't fail for at least 30 years - a fact,   this is how long a solar plant will produce income within warranty.

So that's why its underrated - what other ico you can think of, that has a guaranteed income for 30 years (and income they will share with Token holders through rewards), that will allow them to continue developing and outlive any competition.

Hurry or you might not get the chanve to be included with the lucky Cartaxi token holders.

Try the Bitair I know many are not familiar with it yet but recently it becomes a hot trend with the huge bonus they are giving those who are buying tokens to them. Sounds like a great investment right with a huge 45% giving those buying tokens to them nice.

Fun fact about this ICO's:
the less people who invest - the better it's for the people who buy because the supply is being sold to buyers.
So the less people who invest the more tokens your investment will get you.Think about it.
As for now I'm looking at :
https://qchain.co/
and
https://raiden.network/

Do your own research! ;)

Anyone here doing Goldreward? Similar to Bitconnect and Regal.

I'm going to give it  try with a small investment, looks scam just like bitconnect and regal :D

U should see it now. It is about 92% sold for the first round.

Round 1 ended in 32h seems good to me.

I have bought tokens of hydrominer and Crypto20 based on few recommendations.
Are there any other good ICOs running which look promising and i want to invest a bit more?

It is difficult to advise something, you still risk your finances, and you need to approach the company's choice seriously enough, and many can advise, but it's far from the fact that everything will be fine with this company, better take responsibility, sit down for a free evening and learn all the other companies and choose which suits you

Too many scams to choose from. I am working with Smart Billions and they are doing hackathons so I think there is some fun in that other than just investing money into a coin.

Just read the whitepaper and ico is also running quite good. Bought token for universa. THanks Van

There is some altcoins that doesent require any mining. Please, check out our project:XRONOS (http://"https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2160633.0"). We finished tests of our algorithms (for a year our system worked with dublicates of real market data, but without huge amounts of money), and already have done presale about a week ago. The main idea is a backing of our coins with other coins in different proportions, depending on their share on the market and their prices fluctuations. So it's a sort of an investment stabilization and insurance which will help avoid some separate coins' collapses, and as a whole it follows the general trend of the market (meaning a growth in a long-term, and smaller possible losses in a short-term). Collected data is open and available at stats.xronos.space (http://"stats.xronos.space").

There are a lot of such topics like: best ICO, which ICO you can suggest, top ICO etc..
And when you read all of these topics you just see 90% of users just advertising the ICO's in which they have invested or ICO's in which signature campaign they are taking a part.. And only 10% of users are talking right things, with smart ideas and estimations, good predictions and qualitative information. Only these 10% posts are worth to be considered for potential investors =)

I can recommend a good upcoming ICO I have been keeping my eye on, Propthereum.io. They are an asset backed coin and are expecting a 1566% coin appreciation in a short period of time. All proceeds raised from their ICO will be used to purchase A-grade property worldwide. This will generate a rental income and underlying value for the PTC token holder. The great thing about this is the coin will always increase in value.

Out of all the above, Wabi might be the only good one, due to the low cap.

Mercury is a disaster, it sells on ED under ico price already, barely collected $1.9 Mil so far and most likely won't reach the soft cap of $4 Mil, in which case they will do a refund, but only to those who bought directly from the ico.

They mentioned top 3 ICO in November
- Ethlend
- Gladius
- SimplyToken

Among it, Ethlend is good, Gladius is unique with kinda okay-ish cap.
Gladius is doing something like a dencentralized DDOS protection

You might want to look out :)

November / December is a slow few months by the looks of it. The only ICO that is standing out for me currently is Crowdholding.

They have a good team, building something great and have a working beta.

It is difficult to advise something, you still risk your finances, and you need to approach the company's choice seriously enough, and many can advise, but it's far from the fact that everything will be fine with this company, better take responsibility, sit down for a free evening and learn all the other companies and choose which suits you

There are no good ICO's anymore. It is too hard to keep up with them all and as time goes by they have less and less actual value because they just keep getting scammier and scammier. Fork coins are the newest thing in town and we are seeing them pop up a plenty now, with Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold, Segwit2X was going to happen and still very may well, on a smaller scale though.

A very promising ICO for me is Envion (as you can see on my signature). They will provide a mining solution with so called MMU's (high power mining containers) that will mine all crypto that is worth to mine. The Tokens are divident paying and investors will get their share of the mining operations every week payed. Its really promising and the demand for this is high. Its a swiss company and they operate the first container already in Berlin in germany.
Of course thats just what im interested in, always do your own due dilligence before investing. DYOR. Cheers!

Personally the only ICO that has jumped out at me is Crowdholding.

Strong team, nice ideology and are really trying to do something amazing with co-creation. Biggest draw is that they have a working beta before they launched their ICO. I would rather invest into a startup that actually has a product than just an idea IF they raise the money and decide to spend it correctly.

But you need to search experts ideas and more importantly do your own research on those recommendations. My favorite ico is Ccore. Great concept, great community support and solid project team help to build the coin. Hope this will go to the moon soon.

Hydrominer has a great vision and a positive impact on the world, but as with many environmental ICO's they tend to lose traction after about half a year. If you want your investment to actually grow then i would suggest investing in a community based platform such as Crowdholding or IndaHash.

Go look an ICO in ICObench and ICOrating. ICOs listed there are rated from the experts and top investors around the world. Those two websites are a reliable source. If you have chosen any ICO listed there, study more about them by checking their whitepaper and development team. If you found them suspicious, look for another ICO. Continue doing this until you found a promising ICO. Don't just stick on the ICOs they are giving here in this thread you had made.

ICOalert.com has a very wide list of ICOs that you can check every now and then. But keep in mind that not only they don't the endorse the ICOs listed neither list every interesting ICO that is out there. For instance, the last time I checked, I couldn't find the AppCoins ICO, which seems to be a realiable one. Anyway, since there are so many scams these days, do your own research before putting your money into any project.

There are plenty of good ICOs you just have to do research before investing. Look into the background team, advisors, roadmap. I did it myself and discovered Karma (https://tokensale.karma.red/) a p2p lending platform. A loan can be provided in fiat currencies via banking API and automatic payment commentaries analysis. The ITO is doing good, collected already 3.3 M USD and a 15% discount is available.

You really need to do your research. Take the examples given in this thread and check out the team's experience as well as any evidence of a prototype. Is the team real? Is there any proof that reputable advisors are on board with the project?
Many ICOs are scams. Be careful.

I have already studied many ICO projects, conducted market analysis, now I like Gladius and Trade.io projects. Not bad teams of developers, there is community activity and useful technologies.

Periodically, there are interesting projects in which I want to invest. The main thing is to have a useful, up-to-date technology and a reliable development team.

I suggest that you do not rush to invest in ICO projects. Now many ICOs are deceptive. I think you can wait for a while before, and the current market is very unstable!

Eternal trust is a smart block chain platform that is designed to provide individuals access to purchase very important products and services unavailable to them because of lack of approval by regulations. Many people would like to live a healthy lifestyle, but with aging there tend to be health issues as people tend to get old. Eternal trust provides an opportunity to access legitimate science based methods and future technologies that can postpone aging and extend an individual’s lifespan.

Are there any other good ICOs running which look promising and i want to invest a bit more?
At the moment, there is a very difficult situation in the market, and there are really good ISOs, there are very few really good projects and they are only closed sales, but if you can find something you can find

uTrust was one of the best ico's that was on this forum for months, but i dont know what is happening with this ico since it seems that it is having a lot of financial troubles in their country, and a lot of people are trying to claim and ask for their funds back because they think that this one is going to be a scammy project.
