I feel the same way too. Its when your ready to make a trading and wanted to sell your coin because you really needed to trade but suddenly you saw those red lines on the market, it was totally sucks. But due to a reason you really needed to trade because of emergency reasons there's nothing you can do but to make a deal with those red lines. But if there's no such valid reason to trade during those red lines I swear I wouldn't take the risk.

Selling while it's red is a bad move. I mostly do that before but now, instead of looking at the market dropping, I drop my phone and go out to relive the stress of seeing my portfolio drop. Recently I have sold half my coins at half of the price it currently is now because of loosing temper and because I thought it will keep droping but I was wrong. It's best to keep coins and hodl them for longterm if you want profit.

Alts and will fall, look at the price of bitcoin. People do not want to sell bitcoins, so prices have fallen even more, one ether is holding on to the edge. The main thing to believe.

few times bit coins and alt coins price going to high and going to low. so in that situation we have to do best and better job. if you get loss then try to sell your bit coins and buy another coins. present bit coins is best for buying so try to buy it once. in the market really bit coins has great demand, so try to buy it. generally alt coins not get in to loss but few times it may happens.

As day trader you should first watch daily/weekly the movements, before you turn in panic modus. You could also place stop loss orders for protection against loosing big amounts. But generally, if you didn't buy shitcoins, price risings are still expected on longterm.

you have to sell when you speculate there will be a dump (red) in the future and sell before it happens. that is called being a good or experienced trader. of course it is not always possible to predict these things specially not much ahead of time but you have to be able to do it most of the times.
those other times when you can't predict them you have to act fast by selling your altcoins before it gets too late. by doing that you protect your investment and then buy back at the bottom if you like.
this requires watching the price, looking at charts, even have alerts and also listen to the news.

You must controll your temper when it comes to trading. Never sell at red wait for your coin to back to neutral or green before selling your coin. But, if it's continueing to go with red never sell at - 20% mark. Or you should buy some more altcoins then sell at high.

what to do when markets is full of red ? of course you need to cut your losses and then buy it back in the bottom,
but the real problem in here is most of it you sold it at the bottom and when you want to buy it back,
the train was leaving you alone,so what should you do ? of course you need to take some rest if you can not do that.
have you try to do something like research before ? if you did that and still get caught by it which mean you're not good enough to control your emotion.
it would be better for you to hold it until it goes higher than your buy order,
in brief you need to take a vacation or rest whenever you see the market or your portfolio underwater,
just set your sell order and take some rest from cryptoland,it's the best way to minimize your problem and losses

"But due to a reason you really needed to trade because of emergency reasons"- trading with the mindset of any emergency,  is the beginning of failure because when the market refuses to go the way a trader evisiage, it leads to impatient.

Yeah really this is the spirit to do well in trading , "instead of looking at the market dropping, I drop my phone and go out to relive the stress of seeing my portfolio drop".
I think it is nice to relieve your pain outside rather than gluing to your phone and wishing that market starts to conform immediately.

Well, that's really obvious you just wait till the price come back with seeing other coins you are probably interested to trade while you are waiting your coin back. Rather than being stressful because you are lose and that's good to have alternative source because with these you can recover your lose if any.

All reds in crypto markets is a blessing since you can buy coins at a discounted price and can sell for a higher profit in a short amount of time. If a market is proven to bounce back after several beatings, it would be unwise to sell at a loss. Patience is a special trait that one must possess in trading cryptos.

I've already lost my investment after doing the same thing but i promise to myself that i will not do it again. As trader we need to control our emotions, the word hold is very important. Don't lost your control and do the right thing, be patient.

Nothing you can do about it mate. It will get worst if you are too emotional about it. In trading you have to check your emotions at the door because if you really cause you a lot of pain seeing them all red and you might thinking of just selling it but you have to think that selling will just make you lose more of your investment instead of just hold.

So to not get irritated or lose your temper, I think you should stay away from checking the prices all the time and just hodl on your coins and do not sell it. And if you are seeing it going red, its just temporary and hope that by tomorrow it will changed and go green once again.

People don't tend to realized that you have to look and think outside of the box, if the price is all getting red, then its a perfect opportunity to buy because the price is at a discount. Think of it as if there was a weekend sale or something. Just go and buy more at low price and just hodl, and when the price of it go high in the future, then go and sell it. That's how someone makes a good profit out of a red situation. And if you are affected by the price movement specially seeing it going down, then crypto trading is not for you, because the first thing you need to learn specially in trading crypto is to control your emotions.

Losing your temper is some thing that you must control in trading. If you lose patience then you are a dead trader - patience is the key to successful trading. Currently because of the forking altcoins were being sold and bitcoin was being bought. I dont know how far that has actually taken place.

Quote

Not all alts will fall in price. It totally depends on what the whales are buying and selling. People do want to sell bitcoin - specially the panic sellers but most people want to hold it.

Previously, after I found out that the market is red, sometimes I get angry too but most of the time I became sad not only because the price is going down but pf course I can do nothing to make the price rise again. Then lately I notice "trading". I also notice that life is not all about selling. I cam also buy coins that most have a chance to rise its price like bitcoin. So since that time, when thearket is red I buy coin then I wait for the increase then I sell. But still I am not so good at it. But I find it effective slight difficult to monitor the market since I do not have good internet connection always.

When the market is full of red, the first thing i do is find the information why the altcoin price is dropped then if something big happened i will all my coins before it more worse. If not that big i choose to hold more.

When the market is full of red all you have to do is hold your coin in necessary to avoid additional losses. However, if you want to earn high profit then you have enough financial capasity to buy coin then go for it because this is a chance for you to earn higher profit when the price is high.

The entire market gets red mark very rarely. When we have diversified investment portfolio, automatically even when the market seems red can try to turn it to be profitable or else it's good to keep hold of the assets with patience. Because the price variation happens periodically. We need to wait for the moment if profit is the expectation.

I feel sorry for your loss and the way you make trading in the market. Because that is not the proper way to do it for sure. When altcoin is going down like you say drop sharply then that’s the point where you should show some patience really and try to hold until the coins market reversed itself. You can earn more than enough profits if you do that. Plus in addition to all this you should also take the opportunity to buy more coins if they are red because your entry point make sure that you will earn big profits when they are turning green.

that way I think is also better because we ourselves are very difficult in predicting when prices will rise again even though ultimately the revenue is not maximized but make it all as one of the rare experiences that can be remembered to continue to provide great motivation for us in every trading.

Well, if the prices are down by 3% to 5%, then you have two options. If you have enough funds at your disposal, then you can purchase more coins and hold them for short to medium term. If you don't have the funds, or if you are not confident enough, then you should refrain from trading and never sell any of your existing coins.

that is a bad advice. because when the altcoin dumps begin they don't just stop at 3% to 5%, instead they go on to be at least 10% every day and continue falling even until 80% of the initial value is lost. and by that time it is already too late to make any more at selling!

it is best to sell before the 3% dump starts but it is not always possible. you can however sell when the price is start at the beginning of the dumping phase.
i know it is tempting to buy back altcoins when they are lower than they were a minute a go but such buys must be calculated not just emotional buys to put you more in danger of losing money.

Keep calm and hold if that coin  have a good in fundamentally, although the price drop but if in fundamentally good the price will definitely up later. Because the price of BTC increase so fast now for the better do short altcoin trading that paired with BTC, this is will be more safe than long term trading. But if do altcoin trading paired with USDT possible to do long term trading and can be profitable.

Cut losses and buy back in the bottom. Sounds new to me. but after I do a calculation with an example like this: I bought 1 eth at $ 400, when eth looks down, I cut loss my 1 eth at $ 350 price, and I buy it back when it touches $ 250 and gets 1.4 eth. That means I don't have to wait for eth to rise to $ 400 to return my capital. This makes sense. But still, it is not easy to determine when it price will stop diving.

When it needed, go out and chill for awhile, off your mobile phone and enjoy a night with a beer. That’s the best thing to do than monitoring the market every minute it can loss you more than you will loss by enjoying a night out. That’s is different in many occasions depends of what you always do on your free time. So do it when you find yourself in that’s situation again.

That’s like emotional trading and that’s not allowed if you want to go ahead in the trading. I’m sure you might have lost lot of money with such thinking. But remember one thing there is always two entry points when you should go into altcoin buyin and selling and that’s 1. When alts are down and red! 2. When bitcoin is very high. In both the cases altcoin is always being dumped into bitcoin and there is always point when the bitcoin will be sold for altcoin or traded for it and thus making the altcoin go up again. So just hold when the market is full of red.

I think it all depends on what kind of coin you are holding. If you have a top10 altcoin, then it might be a good option to just wait, because they have some potencial, so their price will probably recover. Just take a look at bitcoin, it's normal to sometimes have 30% or 40% dips, and then it recovers to a new ath. In the long run, BTC and alts are increasing in value (at least top10 ones).

Market is not completely full of red. Many of the currencies are not full of red, example
1.bitcoin cash
2.vertcoin
3.syscoin
4.factom

All the users and traders are buy a red and green. Demand is only changes in the red. Most traders are like to invest in high value and high demand cryptocurrency.

In short you do have weak hands which usually this stuff is being experience and been done when we are still a newbie or new on cryptocurrency world. When we do saw that our investment are going negative we do easily panic and afraid to lose all of the money we do have and decide to sell at loss on those coins but later on you would really realize that you did make a wrong decision when you saw those coins price did eventually recover up.
Sometimes panic selling is useful but would really be on case to case basis.

The loss of calm in that situation is really not the case. If you decide to sell, that means you gave up the money you lost. So what will happen if the price grow again?. That means you lose more profits that you would otherwise be entitled to if you did not sell too soon. In short, I want to say that controlling your emotions is very important, act wisely.

If you lose your temper so quickly and sell your coins at low price then my advice is to don't trade altcoins, put your investment in bitcoin only because it is much reliable. BTW if this happens the it is better to wait for the price to rise again instead of selling them at low price.

It is undeniable that the mistake often made by a trader is when crypto market prices are decreasing in all types of altcoin. I think it is a mistake that often happens because of panic that traders have so they can not control their emotions. but I think when the price is down you should prefer to buy all types of altcoin available in the crypto market because usually the decline that occurs will be in the accompaniment with a very significant increase and of course you will benefit.

Um, perhaps altcoin trading isn't for you if you can't regulate your emotions and make
stupid mistakes like selling at the bottom.  That's no way to make money, but I'm sure
you've realized that already.  The altcoin market is so volatile and unpredictable, I'm
surprised anyone makes money trading.  I don't know how people do it.

You're not going to get any useful tips here, only people posting for their signature
campaigns with as few characters as they can write without going below the minimum.

Best thing for you to do is just hold bitcoin.  Forget about altcoins; they're not going
to exist in 10 years because nobody has any legitimate use for them.  Nobody spends
them, and only fools hold them for the long term.  Get out now and get into bitcoin.

Everybody have this problem but because of experienced they manage to control it.. Don’t trade much higher than the amount you are willing to lost because at the beginning losing is just part of learning process.. Don’t try too hard and go trading first to gain knowledge how to do it not to have big profits.. Take your time and observe others on how they do it..

The market will obviously be red at some point of time and a trader must be knowing this and must be prepared for the worst cases.
Even if the price goes down 50% you must control your emotions so that you can carry out your trade on your benefit.
For example if the price is going down then you can sell as early as possible and then buy back later at a very low price.
If the price has gone way down before you sell then you must hold as it will surely recover in some days/months . Just try to look at it with a different perspective and you will surely find a way to profit out of the situation.

i think you need to learn how to be patience while the price is down because selling your coins at the bottom is not a good decision because sometimes the price will be bounce up again. first thing you need to learn is you need to know when the trend is up and down so you can easily to analyze when something is happen. beside that, you need to check the price in the market and you need to take a look in order buy and sell position. after you know and you can analyze what will be happen, then you can know what next that you should do.

If the market is full of red then the best thing to do is to just hold on and buy at the dips and just buy those top coins because that is the common practice of the whales and when you follow that strategy then they will get the results that the whales are getting and that is profit. So why just hold and buy the good coins when the market is full of red.

Don't sell at the bottom or in lose unless the coins that you hold or have is a kind of shitcoins that after a pump it will dump hardly. If the altcoins have a good future it is better to hold and buy more if you have.

When the market is full of red, I take this opportunity to buy because all coins are cheap. Then wait for the right time to sell.

Well, if the prices are down by 3% to 5%, then you have two options. If you have enough funds at your disposal, then you can purchase more coins and hold them for short to medium term. If you don't have the funds, or if you are not confident enough, then you should refrain from trading and never sell any of your existing coins.
In the world of bitcoin, there comes so many opportunities which can help you earn a very good amount of profit. You actually need to remain vigilant so that you’ll be able to cash those opportunities. Like you said, at the time when the market price falls down you go either for buying of more bitcoins or holding of bitcoins that you have. But there are so many who get panic and sell their bitcoins.

i also do like you. when alt coin goes down i feel very uneasy and i feel hesitate between sell or hold. at last when i sold my alt coin then i see price is going up smoothly. at this moment i think about me i am very fool trader who has not control his emotion.

Altcoins are not like bitcoin - first. They are fluctuating and more volatile than bitcoin. They are bound to rise and fall as well. But that does not mean that they will turn scam in the next instant. People may sell some coins and by some other coins just because their interest shift elsewhere. However in future if the market demands of a coin is big then it will rise. So like I always say, you need to be patient in the market and decide how to make profit form selling or from buying - you can buy in the dip if you know that the coin is going to rise in future.

But if there's no such valid reason to trade during those red lines I swear I wouldn't take the risk.
that way I think is also better because we ourselves are very difficult in predicting when prices will rise again even though ultimately the revenue is not maximized but make it all as one of the rare experiences that can be remembered to continue to provide great motivation for us in every trading.
By the way the next time you trade do not go all in like you buy only one altcoin and put all of your money in there. You would have put it on any altcoins or bitcoin so you can choose where to trade if others have those red lines. For this you could easily assured your profit is not gone.

I will share how to get profit from bloody market. The solution is Do not trade. Or learn how to swingtrade. Heres the hint.  If Bitcoin will dump do not buy alts because  alts will dump too.  If bitcoin pumps do not trade alts bcoz it will dump too.  Wait for the alts to dump then buy. Once you get a small profit,  exit as it might crash again.

Panic, sell your coins and lose money or wait, keep your coins and even or profit. I mean, if you are in cryptocurrency market for more than a month, you'd notice that the price fluctuates very often, prices drops than raises, they get all time highs and drops again. Most likely your coin will be high again if not next week, then next month. You need to keep up with the news, if it's just that the coin of your choice has some problems, it may be worth to sell it before it falls for real, but if it's just market doing it's general pumps and dumps, then don't panic.

Actually you are going exact opposite, always try to sell when it is at top near resistance and buy when it is at bottom near it support.I think you don't plan your trades as you don't have good trading plan. It will be best if you prepare a trade plan right from now and trade your trades according to that because when the market is trending down it is actually the best time where you can make great amount of money as everyone know fear is stronger than the greed and that's why shorter make more money within short span of time than buyers.

So loosing your altcoin sharply also indicates that you are little bit emotional and for now be careful about trading, because During trend the market turn to be more active and more number of participation use to carry on during the work. It's natural with the trading of altcoins to drop sharply and rise sharply and because of this selling altcoins at bottom is not a good idea because the altcoins needs to be selled at the resistance level than the bottom.

If you bought some altcoins and they are falling, then I think you should consider the altcoins you have bought carefully and divide them into 2 groups. The first is "can recover", with this group you wait to see if the price increases again or not. The second group is irreparable, with the altcoins in this group you should accept losses and sell the entire amount that you have. In my opinion, I will deal with that.

If the altcoin is dumping I choose to earn token to avoid losing. Trading with altcoin is so hard to make a good decision especially when you use a capital. The only we can do is wait the time to pump but is needs long time, to get an stable income you needs to find another way that can alternate in trading. And I choose to trade in bitcoin because it is pumping.

I wouldn’t sell an altcoin while it’s down unless it’s not one of the major ones. I think with the major altcoins, maybe the top 10 to 20, you should wait for them to recover. I have sold weak altcoins for a loss because I wanted to cut my losses. Some of the bad coins you don’t know if they are going to recover if they drop so I think in that case it’s okay to sell so you don’t lose it all.

Actually red doesn't mean it is bearish and just make the market going down.
Sometimes that dump is a tricky one before the price to bounce back.
Just make sure you do your own research , and maybe ask for some experts help around you for an advice deal with the market ciuld be a good idea.

There is nothing to do when the market is reddish guys. You just need to control your emotions over your assets. That's fine. More bright days will come to the market where we observe huge pumps.

That is a hard things to say, sometimes it is a good idea to sell but sometimes it is a good idea to hold, it depends on the situation, the most important is not to panic, analyse the situation that make the price fall down, if the price fall down sharp without any reason then maybe people dumping the coin and wont used it any more

Yeah , some shit coins find it difficult to retrace and waiting could be frustrating I must say. Meanwhile, the ultimate point in trading is to be able to exercise patient before either before jumping in or running out. For instance, you can exit a market in a minute and the next minute is on the high - losing out in much profit, like what is happening with regalcoin.   ::)

Okay, this happens to me when i am trading WAVES to BTC. First of all. Know the Reason. If the reason is because of outside force and not by the activities/development of the coin then HOLD ( just like altcoins bleeding from the BTC Gold Fork ). Second, Observe. Observe the trading flow for 1 to 2 months, if the price keeps falling tremendously then it is time to decide if you will just sell the coins for the reason of preventing greater loss.

Being a good trader always check the chart in market cap the flow price of bitcoin if it is go down or up. Buy and sell is a serious way to earn money that the prediction is always here and take some risk. Long term hold of bitcoin is a good decision to make more profitable of your capital.

I think the first mentioned is the better overall option, especially for those who don't know what they are doing, and for that reason don't know how to benefit from up and down movements.

If Bitcoin will dump do not buy alts because  alts will dump too.
Not necessarily. If we look at how things have gone lately, people move back and forth based on what Bitcoin does. In other words, if Bitcoin goes up in value, alts tank, and if Bitcoin tanks, alts go up in value. The altcoin market has taken a few major steps back in the recent months due to Bitcoin only increasing in value. At the end of the day, if you buy the market down, you'll get to lower your overall buying price, and that's exactly what people should focus on, but don't actually do so due to their blind panic.

If you hold the altcoin do not worry too much it will return soon. If I were a red market I would invest in and buy a large amount of coin at the bottom and I would profit when it went away in 1-2 days I would be quite profitable for my own. . People are going down the opportunity to make money for people so you should not give up good profit like this

This really is a pitiable thing to do but most of us here have been through that route before. It shows we trade emotionally when that happens. And that is a loser trading. Professional traders trade on technicals and fundamentals, not emotion. So, get a grip on your emotion and that dip trading will quickly turn tip trading.

Always set your targets even before entering a trade. Go do some other stuff once in a trade to avoid always looking at your portfolio and panicking once it turns red.

Like you said here, absolutely you have to work hard and then left everything on nature by holding your coin. You are making progress if you are just keeping your patience with it. Yes a good statement at all. When one shitty coin is coming in red zones again and again then you don’t need to keep with you, rather just get rid of them. Reason is, all the altcoins are only for die trade as you said, so you can’t keep them on hold for a long time. The altcoin is greatly reduced due to the bitcoin being pump strong. You can either DCA or sell altcoin holes and then buy back when prices have bottomed out. This may be the opportunity for you to buy yourself a lot of altcoin.

I often lose my temper when altcoins drop sharply.
And in general, I sell altscoin at the bottom
I always hold (hold coin) until the time of its increasing kemabli.
or it could be a bitcoin cutloss, altcoin cutloss in order to buy coins much cheaper, than buying coins in expensive time so that cutloss can provide opportunities for profit and for your coins do not stuck on top. because the price will always continue to move adjust the market price,
I also often feel annoyed if the prices on the market are often flushed ........

Don't sell at the bottom or in lose unless the coins that you hold or have is a kind of shitcoins that after a pump it will dump hardly. If the altcoins have a good future it is better to hold and buy more if you have.
I am not in favor of holding altcoins. They are just best for day trading or just trading because losing them is not going o put you in big loss. The coin your re holding is if new in the market and continuously staying in the red zone of graph, it is better to get rid of it than keeping it in wallet with a lame hope of making some profit with it. The best coin for holding is just bitcoin so far.
Yes a good statement at all. When one shitty coin is coming in red zones again and again then you don’t need to keep with you, rather just get rid of them. Reason is, all the altcoins are only for die trade as you said, so you can’t keep them on hold for a long time. Their market price is not that much stiff as bitcoin so don’t play with your profits coming ahead, leave them by selling.
That is always just the best way to treat a shitcoin.
Unless I notice some panky activities going on with a shit coin, I hardly bother myself holding them for too long even when they are at dips cause if anything happens, even the devs would dump theirs pretty fast, if they have not already.

It is best if you do not see much profit on them after a long while, sell them, or to always be very safe, never buy a shit coin without setting a profit loss.

Not the entire crypto market has turned red. At times when the growth scaling falls low due to the varying circulation particular assets show red indication. This too doesn't sustain for longer time period. If that doesn't happen we won't get the trading opportunities which is the major profiting way.

Some time I feel the same way but I will not sell as a result of the panic on till the decline trends continue to the level that I could no longer stand it or bear the lost. But there are some time when altcoins turn red signifying buying order because there's a tendency for the market to return to positive direction which I will make profit at the end.

Me i do is if it goes red to much and your loosing so much money i do i just HODL. but if i just lost dollars or even hundreds i'll sell it and get back at a nicer time.
That are crucial times when you have been in such decisions. There are different options with differentstrategies, and you are the only one who is going to make this happen. Then the actual experience comes, you analyze things, make calculations for better results to come. So in such scenarios you must be vigilant and wise in your decisions, go for only those who are less risky.

Just scoop the bloodbath in the market and keep buying those wounded altcoins because their wound will heal next time and if you have enough patience then you can easily get profit with that because since the whales are busy playing bitcoin then you should be ready for playing altcoin in the future by buying now and holding it.

After October 25, the altcoins are nearly dead, and there is now a vague segwit effect, I think segwit will have a positive impact on the altcoins prices.

There is no one that does not really make such mistake at some point honestly. The thing is to just have a strategy or pattern and stick to it. I personally do not hold any altcoin for long and I always have a limit to the loss I can stomach in an altcoin most especially in situations like upcoming forks that we have which obviously anyone should know that altcoins will still keep bleeding until then.

Moreover, bitcoin is fund of pulling down every altcoin whenever it is rising up, but I guess we just have to make some pretty quick decisions at some point to minimize the losses

That doesn't make any sense. If people end up searching for an "expert" or whatever "guru", they will stumble over the sheer number of idiots claiming to sell a guide/tutorial that "guarantees" the buyer an x amount of profit every month or year. If people don't know how to trade, and even can't figure it out after them having tried it, it means that these people should stay away from trading, period. Most people here have developed their experience with trading by doing it themselves and learning from their mistakes. At first it's a losing 'game', but eventually you should be able to turn your losses into gains, but that's only when you learn from your mistakes and understand this market (as far as possible).

It is up to the persons financial backup condition and the present trend of particular traded item to be decided. When ever the market is full of red we have to understand that it is getting correction so depend upon the exact traded / purchased cryptocurrency potential whether it will increase after this correction or not we have to analyze then only we can take the decision to be hold or sell. During red selling it is not advisable to sell just to hold  and analyze no scope just book the profit or sell it off.

Buy those coins 💰 and then sell them when they go green. This is the common strategy capitalists do in this system. Because usually, these coins rise back in a few days. But still, don't just go scooping those coins. Still need to choose wisely.
They will surely go green and most times it is always best to be patient to get a good buy unless you want to do the cost average pattern which sounds pretty reasonable too sometimes. Usually most of the coins normally go green and if you have some good money to buy when they are at dips, only patience is what is required for you to gain when they get pumped.

You should try to control your emotions if you want to be a successful trader. Altcoins dropping is not always bad. You should see it as an opportunity to buy more of that good altcoins. The more you have when it drops, the more profit you will take when the price recovers. But this is only true if you are holding a good coin, not a pump and dump sh*t coin.

There is an old saying: "Master Emotions And You'll Master The Market" - I know that this is not easy to do, but unfortunately this is the only way to follow if you want to be a successful trader.
You need to understand that trading is finding a golden proportion between Fear and Greed - With altcoin/cryptocurrency trading it is even harder to find the best position.
Uncertainty creates emotional turbulence as there is no telling what future value of altcoin will be. And I will tell you this: the point of maximum financial opportunity is always linked to the lowest price.

There's nothing to do when altcoins price decline significantly, just wait until the time come for those coins to rise. It's normal thing in trading market, as people invest to extract profit, whenever bitcoin price increase, altcoins tend to fall. That's why, invest in bitcoin is better for long term and consider has slight risk than invest in altcoins. But, doesn't mean bitcoin will always give you highest profit as altcoins price are cheaper than bitcoin, you may get bigger profits by purchase more coins, big in multiplier number.

I think it is bad idea to sell your tokens at low price because the money you buy to get will be wasted. You should control your emtions at trading because if not then it will lead to your loss. In my case if I have seen my tokens is at low price I will hold it and sometimes I will buy more and I'll wait till it pump again before I sell it.

Yes, I understand that feeling, I have also experienced a few times. There will be no big deal until everything becomes dark red, anxious and frightened are the inevitable feeling. If you are an experienced trader, you can anticipate landings based on charts, forex analysis techniques and maybe a little hunch. However, most of us can not do that. What we should do is must very calm, control our minds, not to panic and make wrong decisions. Look at relevant information to know what to do next and make a rational decision

Very well said honestly, but as human beings, we're not able to control our emotions all the time. Reddish market can affect our emotions very negatively and this causes us to open wrong positions on the market. Like buying expensive coins or selling with cheap prices.

Probably, the best is waiting until the market turns into green during dump and crash times.

Keep holding, you should set a target that you want to achieve when you bought the coin, and a reasonable target based on the research that you've done not some moon target. If you have a target then you'll stick to it because you know that coin will reach the target, you can also buy more to reduce the average cost of your coin if you really believe it will become a successful project. Also don't forget to set a stop limit incase something go wrong.

You have to improve your patience for you to surpass your negative character.Trading is very tricky things because its all about ups and downs. Now if you would continue that then you must stop doing trade.Find an alternative source of income that fits to you and not making you panic.
Trading is obviously not for everyone.
I have seen so many people that even after so much learning, they just cannot get rid of greed and emotions sometimes and then they always let it take away the better part of them.
You just have to understand that it is a market full of speculations and predictions and you must never let greed most especially get on you. Have a plan, stick to it and execute it as at when due.

If most of the coins are in red, then there must be a very strong fundamental behind that and the best step to take is to first ascertain and analyse the news/event behind it, to effectively evaluate one's options. Just like now, almost all altcoins are down and that's because holding Bitcoin in wait for the November 16th hard fork translates to free money and people are out to grab as much as possible. At that, it should be obvious that the prices of altcoins would rally again soon after the Bitcoin hard fork and selling off now at their low prices would mean a huge mistake.

Market will red when big change is happen in Bitcoin, Bitcoin price goes up, jump or some time big pump according to news and when Bitcoin price goes dump, in these situations market of altcoins go to red zone and almost all altcoins available at low price with low rate and it is the good and best time to pick the altcoins due to low rate and the next step is to recovery and this recovery makes you a profitable trader.

It happened to me a few years ago, I researched about a particular alt-coin and invested a certain amount in it considering returns in next 3 to 4 months. Immediately within a week, that alt-coin fall by 35% and it was difficult to stand with the investment but as I had the research
with me to back the investment decision, I stood with it and in next few months, the same investment was showing 10% to 20% profit without making any changes in it. It not only covered the loss of 35% but also made a profit of 10%+ in that period. So someone is having his research for the investment then I don't see any reason to worry about the market conditions.

Don’t just sell your coins when it is red rather wait and you have said so good, just turn off your computer until prices are coming back. Right. Usually all altcoins don’t usually fall on red unless something crazy is happening to bitcoin either positively or negatively. However, reds are the moments when you wait for more of it and buy even more at a certain point for profit because, no matter what they will be stepping back up.

Also, for anyone holding an altcoin right now since before the first fork apparently should not even bother trying to sell, because that is already a huge loss. The best I would even advice is to find some funds to buy now at their dips and then capitalize on the profit from that which would compensate a lot at the end for the little losses before the previous ones grow back to that stage.

I think it's good time to buy but you need to decide which one will you buy :)) There are a lot of cryptocurreny but not all of them are good so we need to find out the good one. Bitcoin is always the best option but its price is really high for now so if anyone want to make profit with small amount of money at that time I think they should better choose some other altcoins with lower price. For me I think almost altcoins at the top 100 of coinmarketcap.com are the best option.

If you are not a good trader just wait and Hodl. The price will get up if it's a valuable coin.

Even good traders know that when there's a bloodbath, it's always better to just remain steady. There's really not much to profit from if that's the scenario and definitely you're going to end up with losses if you pursuse stubbornly. Patience is money when you're trading.
Holding alone is not well buy at that moment that will give u a capability to earn more in future and one thing is sure that dump also work in favor of investor and mostly are not getting benefits from it, I also buy at the time of red market because I know that the prices will start riding soon and that time will be very beneficial for me so holding and buying is the best option in the time of dump to achieve big ahead.
Stepwilli, holding alone is good in the situation of not having the money to invest into cryptocurrency when the market is full red. But, I do like to buy bitcoin when the market is full of red.  However, I think trading of cryptocurrency is not everyone because selling of coin when there dump make no sense cause pump in price will always happen sooner or later.

On trading, when everything turn in to red, that was time to buy more, keep your coin/token on HODL. Relax yourself and don't put pressure on yourself.

If you we're sure more than a 100% that the coin your HODLing was profitable, no need to get worried.

When the market are full of red be happy especially in bitcoins because it is the right time to buy bitcoins do not panic that much. We all know that their prices always rise back up especially bitcoins and ethereum because that two is the one that I always monitoring the price. For me it is a great time to buy and hold because i am sure that after a month my momey will surely grow and  will have an easy income. It is pretty risky though

Lol for your kind, the best way would be to not peek at the market. Everyone would tell you to hold hold hold and that's basically the most logical.thing to do it such situations
Yep! Holding of bitcoin is the most successful method of making money in the digital currencies world. People used to trade with bitcoin and gamble few years back but not now due to the high prices of bitcoin. Bitcoin has hell of potential of increasing in value in short time and this is why holding it gives you tremendous profit without any hard work. I will also suggest you holding.

Dont do that again man. When market so red, turn of yours computer or buy something. Dont sell yours coin.
The best part about a bleeding market is that,it is the best time to invest in good alt coins, you do not invest when the market is rising, you always plan on your investments when the market goes down and that is the basic principal you have to follow while investing,it not always about selling,if the coins you purchased goes down, wait for the market to settle down at the bottom and average your loss by buying more, but make sure you are investing in good coins.
Investing into altcoin is not that much beneficial go for the best coin every time it will give you a chance to generate huge revenue and if market is red this is the best chance for me to buy bitcoin because after every dump there is a pump and that pump will last for maximum time and now this is happening, those who invested into it in good time and now they are achieving good piece of profit and I will do same.
Going for the best altcoin still do take some research. It is very necessary just as you have said because you would not want to end up with a coin that would give you a whole lot of heart break later on.

Some altcoin have great prospect and have people's support, but due to the fork, a lot of people as we know had to quickly dump them for the mean time. However, the chances that these coins would pump back quickly are quite high after the fork, and every trader would definitely leverage on it. It is just the faster you are in getting in, the more chances you have to make more profit.

Emotional intelligence and serious self control and discipline is all you need. These attribute will not just fall on you, you have to learn and develop them. One of the best place to develop these attribute is not on exchange while you are trading. You can join paramilitary and some religious organizations to learn and develop these attribute.

Hold your bitcoins if you are in for a huge profit in the later time. Because sooner or later the value will take a boost just like it did in the current year.

So for me, I'll hold my coins and wait for the perfect moment. Now there is a good chance that the moment might never come but when it comes I'll be winner at the end of the day. It's all about long term investment. And this also help in short term also so all on you.

If you full time trader, should be cut loss when droping 10% but if dont have time to trade and found the market on the bottom or drop more than 10% already for the better just hold it, because this volatility market that always like this. The market will be back to normal again later.

Aint we all.
It is not easy to take it when you are looking to a coin that you have been supporting for a long time.

What else could you do?
Patience. A lot of it. That is all we have to fight back. Maybe spreading more news about how good the altcoin could be if only supported more. Then wait for the feedback in price.

All reds in crypto markets is a blessing since you can buy coins at a discounted price and can sell for a higher profit in a short amount of time. If a market is proven to bounce back after several beatings, it would be unwise to sell at a loss. Patience is a special trait that one must possess in trading cryptos.
I prefer to see it this way instead, "most stable coins in red" is a blessing since it's an invitation to buy a confirmed earner at a discounted price. That's exactly what Warren Buffet recommends to traders/investors, "Be fearful when others are greedy and be greedy only when others are fearful." Most guys from Wall Street are whimpering and day dreaming of the day, especially Bitcoin would go deep down in red, guess why?

It is time to buy those coins out ther plenty of them especially those coins that are successful like bitcoins and ethereum. Because if we buy in a lower price we can sell it in much higher price if the value comes back to green.  And if you fo not have the money to buy coins, probably you qill just calmly hold your coins whatever it is because you do not wanted to lose money. Just fo not panic when you see that the market are all in red because it always happen and nothins new with it you will get used to it when you are gonna be long in this.

In trading we should always to apply the risk tolerance because it is hard to predict the future of every coins even you have applied a frequent monitoring thru the market trend and the news. In every trading its not about always gaining but we should also think that there is always the possibility of losing because digital currencies are fluctuating therefore be patience and make peace with your losses so they wont disturb your future gaining.  :)

Yes that's right, you didn't lose your money or bitcoin unless you sell when the market is full of red. So when the market is full of red much better to buy more and hold it for you to gain your profit rather than sell. That's a basic part in trading ( i'm not an expert but that's my opinion )
That is just the point. The market is very volatile and I always hear a lot of people complaining about losing a whole lot of cash when there is every opportunity to make even more.

Selling at loss is a decision no one should take unless it is a very small loss and you are sure of the chances of it going even lower. But once you have missed a loss of more than 30%, just hold on and find the perfect time to buy more and make a lot of profit from it.

This is a common practice. People at the time of low prices get fearful about the future of the altcoins and they deice it to be sold at the lowest possible price available. This is something that must not be practiced as the price is a subject to change always and so it is possible that it would increase after a downfall and the things would get settled down again in a desirable manner.

If you are not at loss or if your loss is minimal you could opt out completely. Thus should be done if you have confirm bearish trend if not, you shouldn't close all your position. If you are certain that good new could come out in reasonable amount of time that would be beneficial you could hold and leverage on the dip!

Of course we can't do anything but just to sit it out and wait what's gonna happened in the future. We are only casual investors here, we don't have the power to influence the market in our favor. As much as we hate those whales and sharks they have the upper hand here. So you have have to sit it out and no, don't dump your coins because those manipulators will really get it while its cheap plus you have lost your money already if you sell them because the market is just red.

its your fault if you loose too much because your just impatient and why the hell you would sell your coins if you know your gotta loose ? trading is only for the people who can wait and can control their emotions because market is verry volatile and prices are likey to drop or became stagnant at a longer time and you cant do nothing if the market is full of red or the coins are bleeding rather alll you can do is wait for them to increase or pump.

You should not consider crypto-trading as an instant way to earn money or fast way to profit. Just like other jobs and businesses, crypto-trading is a long-term investment which needs time, effort, and patience to be successful.

Instead of watching the market the whole day, you should enjoy your life and use your day productively in other activities. Don't rush your investments to grow. You need patience and self-control in every situation, especially in money matters. There's no such thing as INSTANT MONEY. Everything needs time to grow and develop.

For best result, HOLD your altcoins for a longer time. Long-term investments are actually the successful ones when it comes to cryptocurrency trading. See what happened to bitcoin. Compare its value in 2010 and in 2017. See the difference? Don't duplicate the disappointment of the man who bought 2 pizzas for 10,000 bitcoins.  ;D

Reduce the new coin that will enter the market, if more coins are louncing, more coin will be the red mark in the market, and if the coin entering the market with the low price of the high price coin already in the market will not sell out, just the same that means making coin die price, that's it from me, i also hope if red tnda in market is not too much

At other times when you can not predict it, you must act quickly by selling your altcoin before it's too late. by doing that you protect your investment and then buy back at the bottom if you like.
This requires price observation, viewing graphs, even having alerts and also listening to the news. You have to be able to predict correctly.

Yeaa take it as your opportunity to buy everything while cheap!
But still the problem is that people usually have no fund backup! They are put everything at once.
That's why you should learn from it for future trade that you need to hold fund backup in case the market crash you can recover every losses by buying another one cheaper.

If the market is full of red that was the time to buy but if you are bought at the high then its red now, don't sell it if you don' want to lose because there is a comeback in legit alts but you can't rolling your money for other alts, that is the disadvantage.

I do the same, when the market full of red then I will buy more but I'll chose which coins which has the best possibility to pump again in the near future. It means we should be careful in choosing which coin to buy, otherwise it may go down again and again then it will make us get negative.
