Title: CoinCroc is here to stay!
Post by: coincroc on June 12, 2013, 04:02:20 PM
Hey guys,

Now open and open forever is CoinCroc.com!

We are moving our hosting and operations to Sweden by the end of the month using the same hosting as The Pirate Bay and WikiLeaks. We exchange Bitcoins for PayPal just like CoinGator used too, before they threw in the towel.

We have a launch promotion going on, it's not quite double payouts for 0.01 Bitcoins but it's pretty darn good. Until June 17th we are offering 1.5x payouts for the first 10 Bitcoins exchanged that day.  Today there are 7.4 Bitcoins left that will pay out 1.5x.

If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to email me at admin@coincroc.com where I will be happy to help you. Spread the good word, Coin Croc is here to stay.

Your single post is a bit of a turn-off but it's great to see another place is offering Paypal, :).

I know I'm not well known in the community yet! I was hoping to at least get the name out and start a great reputation with the opening promotion... I'm hoping some reputables in the community use the service and can vouch for it. Thank you!

No problem, and I believe everyone has to start somewhere, :). The issue is getting started with BTC->Paypal because people are going to be very hesitant since BTC is irreversible and Paypal isn't.

Do you have a registered office somewhere, so users can know you won't run away after sending money from stolen paypal accounts? (just a possibility not accusing you of anything)

I sent some bitcoin today, and emailed you to admin at coincroc dot com, and am wondering when I will find more information about my transaction (there was no confirmation email or anything).
I know I'm not well known in the community yet! I was hoping to at least get the name out and start a great reputation with the opening promotion... I'm hoping some reputables in the community use the service and can vouch for it. Thank you!

Yes, this no feedback is already a down point for me. I would like to have at least a Mail by now. Your Payment of x BTC has been received and is being processed, or something like this.

I am still waiting for him to respond to the email that I sent from my address associated with my purchase.
However, I sent him an email from a different account, and he responded rather quickly.
I am not accusing anyone of anything, but it doesn't bode well.
And yes, I am just as new a user as coincroc, but the difference in my credibility is that I am not asking for your bitcoin.

It looks decent... prices look extremely fishy, though.

Ouch, this really isn't a good sign. I'm hoping everything works out for you though. It sucks that someone always has to be first to see if people will get burned or not, :(.

Yup, doesn't look good.

Please, nobody tries this anymore until someone leaves a positive feedback.

Sad, this would have been a very useful service and would it would enable one to earn a shitload of money, if you manage to not be shutdown by paypal in the matter of days.

Thanks, it's not that big of a deal. If someone else can benefit from my misfortune, that's a good thing. I didn't send TOO many BTC, anyway.

... to not be shutdown by paypal in the matter of days.

That there is the catch.

Paypal does not like cryptocoins and shuts down accounts of services that exchange BTC for money on paypal rather quickly as far as I could gather from reading these forums.

Hence I'd suggest just staying away from everyone offereing such a service. I do so too.

Ultimately the goal should be using BTC as an actual payment method anyways thus exchanging it into conventianal currencies is as difficult as it is.

I use it to obtain keys for games for instance and I sure hope that some of those eastern european gamekey retailers will accept BTC soon. Until then Bitmit is a nice place to shop for games using BTC.

I am from an Eastern european country and in our country nobody in the game distribution industry is considering accepting bitcoin.
