Looks like you might have just clicked the link twice... Your account appears to already be active.

I'll have to change that error message to something a little more clear like "This activation code has already been used"

OK thanks. Yes, I can login OK. Just the message that needs altering. Can't see anything that may relate to arbitrage which would seem like a no brainer if you've got multiple exchange feeds. Will this be added ?

I'd like to see the best current Bid/Ask prices somewhere either on the top bar of each market or as the default on the Buy/Sell buttons.

Not sure where you're getting that from... We've had a good number of people sign up already and not one of the emails sent out contained a broken activation link like you're describing that I'm aware of.

Just tried a trade and got a pop-up asking for a subscription fee of 0.35 BTC per month. That should be mentioned upfront or somewhere on the site. I never thought it would be free but a new, unproven site should give a trial period or at least be upfront with the costs.

Yes, agreed. It was our intention to give more details on the landing page, but the design of some of these pages got delayed and we decided to just launch without it. For example, there is also no explanation on account setup yet either, but figured the bitcoin community was smart enough to just figure most of this out, like API keys setup ect. (which it seems you have).

But as far as the pricing goes for trading, your right, that is something that we should probably get listed on the site without having to be signed in. However, most of the site functionality you can still enjoy for free.

Mind if I PM you a few q's about the multiple exchanges? :P

Great software but missing features:

- Add Coins Types and Pairs (from BTC-E and CoinEx) ex. http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency
- Out of browser software could be great
- Be able to select Time period (hour, day, week, month) for charts
- Left widget with resume of coin pairs (like on MetaTrader4, the top-left pane)
- Automatic and Simulated trades is a must have too

With that, I'll subscribe :P

Greetings!

The video music reminds me of Mega Man / Rockman games... lol

Suggestion for futures updates:

* Add monitoring, calculation and automated (triangular and 2-currency) arbitrage for altcoins pairs (LTC/BTC; NMC/BTC; PPC/BTC; XPM/BTC etc.) at different exchanges and at a single one?

There goes some similar projects in order to get some insights:

Trying out your platform https://cryptrader.com
because I want STOP orders for MINTPAL.

1)
Your GUI supports stop orders for mintpal, but I don't know how it works.
Where can I input my API / SECRET for mintpal?

2)
Do I have to be logged in for orders to be executed,
or are stop orders also executed when I am offline?

Thanks a lot!

Stop orders continue to execute while offline... Unfortunately mintpal's API is not live yet.

Have a little question regarding api key security - how are the keys secured (guess this applies to both this service and exchanges)?

Iam guessing they aren't encrypted client side, so technically someone could wreak havoc with my coins if they hack your servers?

Title: Re: CrypTrader - New Browser Based Trading Platform
Post by: bradmurmz on June 13, 2014, 08:46:28 PM
This was taken from their FAQ page... you can find it here. https://cryptrader.com/FAQ

Q: Is it safe to trade through this website? Does using it give CrypTrader access to my funds?

A:

Using API keys with permissions on a browser based trading platform is by far the safest way to trade. It does not give anyone including CrypTrader access to your funds.

API keys allow you to only execute trades, retrieve a balance, and get trade history as well as open order status. If an attacker gained access to your CrypTrader account, the worst they could do is trade for you. API keys ensure that your funds can not be withdrawn and are locked safely in the exchange.

Trading directly on the exchange's website exposes you to all sorts of threats from attackers such as cross server scripting attacks as well as phishing attempts using imitation pages ect. If an attacker gains access to your exchange account, withdrawal of your funds may be possible. Staying logged out of exchanges is a good idea when browsing around the web.

With a downloadable program you expose yourself to all sorts of threats on your local machine. Programs / executables can install keyloggers, steal wallet files, or change copied bitcoin addresses in your clipboard, and much more.

By using CrypTrader, you can rest assured that nobody will be able to access your exchange accounts and it creates the perfect barrier to block attackers from gaining access to your funds.

https://cryptrader.com/FAQ

Q: How can I open more than one chart per exchange/pair?

A:

To open all charts at once, click the little coin logo icon located in the upper left of the selected portal.

This button will open a separate page / dashboard with all 4 major charts added, each updating live in real time.

Brad the major thing missing in all excahnges that i get with any IRL instrument (NINJA,TRADESTATION,MT4)

1) A proper stop loss that cancels existing orders so they can be sold @ market etc
2) a trailing loss order based on % or pts

If you can implement these i will buy a 2 yr subscription & also get another 5 other onboard for yearlys

You will become teh defacto standard for WEB as teh goto tool

pm if u need tio discuss further  ;)

I am a really happy user of cryptrader.
What I like is that cryptrader is not picky with the coins like bitcoinwisdom, I can look at any coin on bittrex - that is great.

I have a few questions, suggestions, and feature requests. As I am a newbie on your platform, some of the following things can probably be solved with the existing features - I would just need a pointer how to.  Some others would need some work, to be implemented. If you agree with the ideas, just put them on your TODO stack :-)  Where I am unclear, or too complicated, please ask back.

* How can I switch the volume to BTC volume instead of altcoin volume?

* Lines
When I choose "ray", and set a ray - and then want to set a 2nd ray, I need to go back to the menu and choose "ray" again. Correct? Please consider an (optional?) setting in which the tool stays on.  When studying the past of a coin, I usually set a dozen lines, approx.

* Micromenus
When I choose "ray", a micro menu appears, with options that I don't understand. Hover-over explanations?
And to the point above, it would be lovely, if I could just press one of those buttons, and be in "ray-mode" again.

* keyboard commands
If I could just press sth like "r" to set the next ray, that would be great, too.
Where is a list of keyboard commands for cryptrader?

* 2.0e-8
Poloniex has a bug, sometimes 1.0E-8 altcoin are left behind after a trade,
which clutters up the balance page. I asked them to make a donations button;
instead they have just masked the coins away, seemingly by a threshold.
In the API results, those coins still come up, though. And thus, in cryptrader. Confusing.
The only way I see for you is to set a threshold, too. Don't show any coin below 2.0E-8.

* scarce space on laptop screens
I don't need the leftmost column (wallets, chat etc), but would like to rather use the space for more chart-data, orderbook, etc.
Is the placement grid completely rigid?  I cannot move any chart into the left column.

* orderbook bitcoinwisdom cleverness.
You know the twitchy green and red line on the right hand side of the bitcoinwisdom charts (visible for time scales  <=30m) ?  It's the orderbook turned around by 90 degrees.  It's the best orderbook visualization I have seen so far. Very helpful for observing market movements, guessing resistance, etc. - and it takes up only a few pixels on my laptop screen. So I can keep price chart (past), and orderbook (possible futures) in one place, without scrolling.

I don't think they copyrighted it :-) Perhaps you can consider to implement it, too?  Cryptrader and Bitcoinwisdom are no direct competitors - as bitcoinwisdom is very picky with introducing new coins, they don't want to cover the whole altcoin landscape, anyways. But you do, and I appreciate that very much. I am just used to their features now, and would like to continue to use them.

* Bell
Most importantly: Where is your bell?
I am watching many charts at a time, and I need two bells, for when the price leaves a channel.

Thanks a million for your time, reading all this.  If you want more, motivate me. I am very willing to help improve the world around me :-)

Enjoy your day!

Tip me: 1Gcdm9RXtFeLWHGPiC7sduCZQFZd3z4Vzu Thx!

Title: Re: CrypTrader - New Browser Based Trading Platform
Post by: drakoin on July 17, 2014, 08:00:19 PM
How do I maximize a chart to use full screen?

Some coins become a full screen chart, and orderbook & depth & recent trades are pushed down, onto a second page.
Some other coins are only using half of the screen, sharing one full page with orderbook & depth & recent trades.

And I don't see how I change that myself. It seems totally random. Which very few deterministic programs are :-)

Please help. Thx.

What does "Save settings" really do?

Please also include this into the next version of "Save":

* Horizontal lines. They are all gone after (Save. Close. Open. Load.) What a pity, lines gone ;-(
* Time scale. Always falls back to 30 minutes.

Cool. Thanks.

Another feature request:   Please start supporting C-Cex.   It's the place where BOOM is traded. 44 BTC volume already:
https://c-cex.com/?p=boom-btc

Thanks!

EDIT: Or does anyone else know a charts & trading engine which already has c-cex data?  thanks

Just discovered your "Coin Chatter" - what a cool function, thanks a lot!

But 'allcoin' is completely f***ing it up. Instead of one line of chat, there is a whole novel.

I'm liking CrypTrader amazingly useful, only issues so far is bittrex stop orders not working and their support not responding to me. But I would definitely recommend using.

I lost my username. Is it possible to recover it by sending it to the email I used to register? The system complains that I can't register again with the same email.

Hi, it is not showing any data for me.  I love this platform, but I need it to work :(  Also it won't let me submit a bug report, it jus tlooks like the site is down or something, but I still get all the wigets or market boxes, they just don't fill with any data.

I have a feature request:

Wider Order Depth Chart.

The "Order Depth Chart" has has a narrow price-intervall.

e.g. for PPC on Poloniex,
only this range of order prices is shown: 0.00080650 ... 0.00108698
around 0.00094750 https://cryptrader.com/charts/poloniex/ppc/btc
that is +/- 15 percent only.

Poloniex itself cannot be configured in its depth width, so
I had hoped to see more, wider
... by using (the excellent) cryptrader.

Please allow for wider Order Depth Chart.

Perhaps stepwise: (15%, 50%, 100%, 200%, 500%, all)?
But any way that you choose will be useful.

Thanks!

Is there anything wrong with CrypTrader?  I couldn't get any charts up.  I hope everything is ok as this is where I do most of my charting stuff online.  Please be ok CrypTrader.  :(

All day website is down, shit, i'm premium user! So this service must work. Also any new changes very long time - no new markets like Yobit, no depth chart for C-cex, no fiat markets from Poloniex! If dev have no motivation for new quality upgrades - he can do ICO.

PS Hey traders, recommend me good analog for Cryptrader, that you prefer to regular using..

Seems like it is a quite older post . Is the OP still alive and responding ? The website loads bit slower in my Palmtop . Yes, I have a palmtop and it has a 1.6 GHz processor along with 1 GB RAM . Wondering what is so different about your exchange service .

this site is not working...

in last few months there are a lot of disconnections..

What happened?
The initial connection between CloudFlare's network and the origin web server *CrypTrader* timed out. As a result, the web page can not be displayed.
What can I do?
If you're a visitor of this website:
Please try again in a few minutes.
If you're the owner of this website:
Contact your hosting provider letting them know your web server is not completing requests. An Error 522 means that the request was able to connect to your web server, but that the request didn't finish. The most likely cause is that something on your server is hogging resources. Additional troubleshooting information here.

Owner of this site is not responding to any request to revive deleted premium accounts, mine too, site was not functioning a lot of time, I suspect there was some hack in a while, leaking users data including exchanges api keys, or even the owner is using it.
