I got an Rx 470 8GB Platinum Edition from the market at a good price. Thinking it is a bargain i immediately bought it only to know that original bios is replaced with a modified ETH mining bios giving 27 MH/s. I cannot do gaming with the card, its totally useless to me and I cant return it because seller has left the country. It seems he has the same device code and same micron memory as me. However his card is Rx 470 8gb Nitro and mine is reference version platinum edition.
Will flashing Nitro Card Bios on my card be ok? Remember that my card only requires 1 6 pin connector whereas i think nitro series come with 1 8 pin connector so they run on higher voltage due to higher OC.
