Title: Multibot ICO. Alpha is available. What do you think?
Post by: Minecache on October 30, 2017, 11:20:28 AM
Hello everybody.
I was looking for new projects which concern trading bots and I've found Multibot ICO. I don't like it firstly due to unknown team (it isn't mentioned at the whitepaper, but at the site they are), but then I've found that they are already have alpha version and averybody could get access to it and it works just fine! It's pretty hard to find some project which has working product at the ICO stage. So I want to know what do you think about it? BTW to get access to alpha you should sign up at site and write your mail through PM to devs or post at ann thread.

Ann thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2248394.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2248394.0)
Site: multibot.io (http://multibot.io)

Disclaimer :)
I'm not a team member or bounty participant of the project and I'd like to listen constructive criticism.

you can test their project, cast 10 $ to check the trading bot or buy tokens,
can tokens shoot in the price or a trading bot, will be better than others

I'm using their alpha for 4 days already with 8% of total profit with default settings. As of now it works very well. I hope there will be bigger profit at the main release. The drawback is WP, it contains less information than I found at site.

It's very interesting to know relative drawdown statistics for this bot at different pairs. It's very important index! Is there the opportunity to make backtest?

The main thesis of this project is diversifying of trading at many trade pairs. Even if one of pair would have long and deep drawdown it would not so matter due to low deposit per each pair.

Well if you need the bot for your trading then sure.

However with the recent influx of ICOs if you don't need to actually use the bot that they are offering it's probably not a good idea to speculate on their token value. IT's a very particular niche that doesn't have that many players in.

Be careful speculating in it, that's what i'm trying to get across.

I trade by my own too, but this is an active work which requires a lot of time and effort. But I'm interested in bot not just for giving up trading by my self, but because of passive income and risks diversifying.

For people like me who want to be in trading but do this as a part-time job i think the bot is a good idea. I saves a lot of time that you would be spending online and could be more efficent that youre own work. I wouldn`t put all my poftofolio at this bot but a 30-40% for a sure passive income yes.
The downside that i see is that it reduces the adrenalline of trading, but as i said before, you can keep a part of the portofolio for that.
I think it will have succes mostly because it will reduce the loss for newbies.

Hmm, I looked at the project, sounds interesting. I think it's worth the wait.
What do people write on the forum on their thread?

I'm happy to report that they've surpassed the soft cap!
BTW token holders should receive 50% quarterly from income of project according to their stakes.

I would really like to get some insight of ppl who use bots. Do they really work and where are their limits?
What exchanges do you use for trading with them?

Greetings

The bot works can work with Poloniex, Wex, Bitfinex and Bittrex as of now. I'm using Bittrex. There is no any limit of deposit you want to use.

It's very fine result... 1%/day. Do you use settings by default?

Good feedback.
Within +/- 1 week you get profit at 5%.
Do you think this bot can be said to be better than other bots trading?
Many people who trust more if using this bot can provide passive income of 30-40% in 1 month.
Is this at risk?

I suppose that this result is just amazing if there is a low risk. I'll start my own experiment tomorrow with the bot.

No, I didn't change any except the deposit size.

I guess it is really. I will try to adjust settings a little to make more % without much risk.

This bot makes me 74$ in 3,5 days with 1000$ deposit. Great result for the bot imo.

Does it have minimum deposit requirement? Could I for example try it with 10$ only?

Actually it doesn't have arbitrage module at alpha yet. But it should be at the main release, because soft cap has been successfully surpassed.

According to their site the softcap is $100k. They have no evident hardcap as I know, but total token supply is 25kk.

Update from 2 November.
Days of experiment: 8.
Initial deposit is 100$.
Current total profit is 8%.

I guess that profitability is not a lot now because of BTC hardfork is coming and every single alt is being dumped...

The market looks like crazy now. So huge economy shifts could lead to pity consequences and make any trading strategy not profitable. We'll see how multibot handle this soon.
