I have recently started participating in Airdrops and was wondering which is the best Ethereum wallet to use as some airdrops asking for certain wallets that collect tokens

myetherwallet.com of course. It has all required features to manipulate your coins, light-weight and pretty secure if you know what you are doing. Strongly advised.

I would say Myetherwallet.com o you can buy a Ledger nano S and use it as a cold wallet. Cold wallets are the best option to store your coins noone cant access a cold wallet.

MyEtherWallet (MEW) is the easiest and the most familiar for me as beginner. Very easy to use. And I'm still considering Metamask and Parity.

No, My etherwallet is an online wallet which is used through its website. If you want to use a desktop wallet, I think there are other options.

For me the best ethereum wallet is MEW or myetherwallet. It is compatible with the ERC20 based tokens and you can store it there.  It also has an advantage because there are so many tokens that you can store in myetherwallet or mew. Beware of phishing site of MEW because once you log on your private key to that phishing site , you are doomed. So be aware and protect your private key.

I'm surprised nobody talked about eidoo. Easy to use, friendly interface, quick to access and convenient since it's a phone app.

Myether wallet is not the best wallet for ETH because it is more prone on phishing. There are so many phishing website of MEW right now, If you mispell the url of MEW then there will be a counterpart scamp site. Having a trezor is the best way to store eth. Because you will need to login your trezor first before you open your MEW which is safe unlike manual copy/pasting of private key to the site.

For me the best wallet is the official wallet of altc itself. I think you should use myetherwallet, if you use exchange wallet I am sure you will lose your alt.

MyEtherWallet is the best because it also can receive Erc20 tokens that I get from airdrops. If you only need a wallet that is exactly for ethereum then use ethereum online wallet on coinbase or metamask.

Sure myetherwallet must be the best one but we need to be so careful because there are many phishing attempts of myetherwallet. Metamask should be the best alternative wallet as it is also able to receive erc20 token and it is safer than myetherwallet imo. Good thing for metamask is that now it is available on chrome and firefox. I'm hoping metamask will increase its feature in the future.

For airdrops you need erc20 compliant wallet and that is MEW, don't use address from exchanges because you won't receive erc20 tokens there.

myetherwallet is the best wallet it supports for many types of coin using erc20 cards. It's easy to use and secure for the Airdrops, but you have to keep your private key safe if you do not want your money lost.

Airdrops aren't safe in a way of what? You are getting it for free but if you mean that your information aren't safe there, yes they aren't safe as it can be used against you/your account.

You can use the most popular eth wallet which is MYETHEREUMWALLET. It works perfectly fine when I participate in airdrops and I've never experienced any issues.

This thing that I will mention is the thing for sure where everybody knows that it is very safe and secured to use anyway, which is myetherwallet.com it has a private key and password where we can protect our coin if we put it there in our MEW.

I think myetherwallet is a good wallet to use. It is stable and used by a large number of participants because of it's safety. Be careful not to share your private key with a third party and try not to misplace or forget the key. You can also check out the announcement section in the forum for some other wallet which are safe for this purpose.

Normally I use MEW as my main wallet but now I use nano ledger because it's safer because all the controls are in our hands.

Using hardware wallets for storing the ethereum long term is best choice but exposing your hardware wallet for cheap tokens you can make from airdrops is not suggestable,and it is better to use MEW for airdrop tokens and once you received the tokens then you can transfer it to the primary wallet if it supports that token.

I respond to several issues about mew, and try to access metamask. after I tried Metamask I felt difficult and this was more complicated.

Metamask is safe though there are people who are worrying about these chrome browser extensions, I never had problems with it. Since I started using cryptocurrency I was using MEW to have my ethuvum but wallet public key static at the same time people said it is much more hackable wallet. Later that i have found some wallets are still good for me.

For daily usage I prefer MetaMask and until now I never faced any problems, it should be safe only it is not recommended to hold a large sum of crypto for this reason it's still the best to buy a hardware wallet since nothing can beat cold storage. In my opinion my ether wallet is a good wallet and if you have also a hardware wallet is more safely. Before enter in any site check if you are on corect link and not on a pishing site, and lose your coins. It's free and easy to use, I've been using MEW and there's problem with my usage. Being not so careful turns someone to have bad experience with MEW by logging in their priv keys to a phishing link.

WHy no way to recover? We can recover by using JSON file or Private keys which one we have,but problem means what? If you lost your access to the system where you saved the details of MEW so you can import or access the same wallet by using the keys but for that you need to save those data in a different offline device.

I think the best of them are Blue wallet and Metamask , to avoid phishing  , Myetherwallet is not the best because of risk of getting phished by hackers , I also suggest Eidoo wallet too , it is a wallet for smartphones that you can participate in some ICOs too with it .

These two seems new to me and I haven't checked them out. The other wallets that you have suggested were all good. I'm fond of using ledger nano s and myetherwallet because they are very convenient and has a user friendly theme. You haven't added some other mobile wallets like coinomi, it's also a good wallet that has been on the market though it has experienced some glitch that made 1 user to lose fund for the desktop app, I'm using their mobile app and has no problem with it.

I dont have a pc  and i dont have spare money to buy ledger wallet. I always use myetherwallet for eth and for erc 20 tokens. For me its the best eth wallet so far amd regarding to hacking i will only say its up to the user.

afaik mist is a popular wallet before but i agree that guarda might be a new kind of etherium wallet .  i see that you are suggesting coinomi wallet , well i have a bad experience on coinomi before because the fees when sending are a bit expensive and coinomi does not also support new erc20 coins  . coinomi only list popular and top altcoins and other tokens  therfor i wont recomend it to newbie users   .  best eth wallet for me will only be myetherwallet or mew  because i dont experience any problems with it for almost 2 years of using  .
