Eat knowledge like pencake. There is a lot to learn.
Learn one of first thing as much as possible about security to keep ur future bitcoins safe.

Be smart, learn much, have fun during this, i recommend bitcoin documentaries.

As far as this forum specifically is concerned. Don't believe anyone. Most of the posters are either clueless parrots, or dishonest people who try to manipulate others into buying/selling at the wrong times to increase their own profits.

Use a very strong password, or you will lose your account.

Always double and triple check all links and addresses before submitting any sensitive data or making transactions.

And most importantly, be extremely critical about anything and everything and ask yourself as many questions as you can think of before making any investment decisions.

Read, read and one more time read cause you need to get basic info and after that increase it by reading news of crypto and technology.

My advice to you is just keep reading, learn different things here in forum. If you have questions, just ask here in bitcointalk forum. Welcome here.

Think about it like a industry, I found myself through the process of:

1) Learning (You never stop learning, moreover there are lots of stuff you can read not only related to BTC itself, economics, investment, fintech stuff, general programming, cryptography, psychology, everything works...)
2) Funds awareness (Ensure you are aware of what your investments are, whether time or money and ensure you are keeping it healthy and safe)
3) Research (This forum and the entire internet is filled of opportunities, you have to keep searching)
4) Action (Once you determined what are you doing with your BTC, DO IT!)

Repeat the process and learn from it. Oops I almost forget about mentioning the mindset you need to have to avoid scammers, most people when dealing with money over the internet won't be honest and fair, they just want to take an advantage from whoever they can, don't be a fool, don't trade if an offer is too good to be true, make sure to understand how the trust system works.
