How much price BTC 1 January 2018?

If bitcoin continue to increase in price like it is doing now, it look like it is going to 10,000$ till Jan 2018. As price of bitcoin is rising day by day, it is getting more attention of people so more investors are coming in this resulting in an increase in volume of bitcoin dominance.

Tim Draper who is a billionaire and also an investor in bitcoin predicted that we will reach 10,000$ in three years. (He said that in 2015). I can't tell for sure about January but If bypass this SegWit2x nonsense, I believe it won't be a hard target to reach with MAST, Schnorr and LN coming in the next months.

The rapid speed in increase in price of BTC makes me believe that BTC might reach the $10,000 target very soon.
All the positive news in the market such as the Chinese exchanges launching P2P platforms, Amazon accepting BTC rumor, CME group announcing futures etc... are giving a boost in the price of Bitcoin. Investors are buying BTC like grocery. If the speed continues then the value of BTC might reach $10,000 before the year end.

I think it will be around $ 7000 if it does not go downhill

i say lets wait for the SegWit2x drama to finish and at least 1 month passes from it, and if we continue seeing this rally and price at least keeps up above $6000 until that time, we can be absolutely sure that price will continue up to be at least $12,000 in 2018. and that is the minimal target.

but things are never predictable with bitcoin, the 2x thing can go either way now that we don't know about miners decisions.

Base on the current upward trend of bitcoin there is a tendency that its value may reach $10000 before January, 2018 if all things remain equal the things are going. But there maybe likely be some correction within the period of this speculation, but at end its value will reach $10000. And for those who will remain steadfast will make profit from their investment.

My prediction is maybe it willl reach $8,000 to $9,000 in january, it will starting to rise up the price in december so i think investors will invest that month

That is a quite great amount to have a full speculation with, I really think that price is not reachable at the moment January 2018 hits, I really think it can be this year but we may count a lot of months maybe on November 2018 an accurate speculation we can make, right now we are nearing the $6500 mark and we had to problem another Hard Fork because we can not say if it's Going to be safe for Bitcoin let's just see if what's going to happen but this November or December a possible $7000 value that we can hit.

Tim's prediction makes sense for me rather than another high profile's prediction about the price of bitcoin. But are you sure about the off-chain development will come in the next month? I just know about the segwit will help the off chain development for the bitcoin but this time looks the news about LN development was never appearing.

This is just my wild guess and I am thinking that the price of 1 Bitcoin on the start of 2018 would be around $9000 if this price increasing continues as I believe that there is still major corrections that will happen in the market of Bitcoin and there is some stabilizing weeks for it and I fully believe that it will gradually increase by the year ends because the trust of people to it is so high now and the fraudsters is just a free advertisers for it so I don't see a reason for its downfall.

If Bitcoin will touch the price of $7000 before this year ends, then I'll speculate that it will peak $10000. Segwit2x could be a possible reason or a possible hindrance on Bitcoin hitting the $10000 mark.

I think 10k usd will great us before 2018, but this is bitcoin and you can't never say... segwit2x fork is incoming, and I have some reason to think this is going to be huge and a real risk for btc-legacy price

Yep, $10,000 definitely looks achievable within that time frame now. Even 1 year ago though it looked unrealistic. Bitcoin is growing seemingly every few months.

Nice didn't know that much about this prediction and we are heading at $10,000 for real soon. This is even what I can see and guess on the things that are happening now. Only few more months left for this year and that's going to be a blast if the price will be reaching at $10,000 on 2018. But we have to get through with this Segwit2x and see if this are going to happen properly.

The way it has been going we could see $10,000 by the end of the year.  CNBC seem to be really hyping bitcoin recently and there is much more focus on bitcoin then there was this time last year.

I don't recommend to pay great attention to what is said in modern media. For the money, they can arrange a PR company for even the devil. Whales have earned huge money with bitcoin and earn even more. They can afford to buy all the media in the world. I would not hurry with forecasts. This month we are waited by serious test. It segwit2x.

it is very hard to predict the price due to BTC. alot of people are selling their altcoin and buying BTC which has make BTC price to rise. i think this will continue and by January 2018 1 BTC must have reach $8000 or more. so if you want to invest do so now

My opinion is over 7000 USD but we can see more higher levels.
Trust is rising everyday for crypto currencies and we will hit 7000 level easy.

This is simply pure speculation but I'm going to guess $7200, not for much reason other than I expect this bullish trend to slow down slightly in the next 2 months.

Your right, in my sight also I was looking forward that bitcoin value was range to $6000-$7000 this coming January 2018, I think it was good to all users if it is happen. Because most of the people are holding their bitcoin because they want to sell it in the right time with right price. Hoping that it will continue for long run of time, because they also expecting more increasing of value.

for me personally, responding to predictions about the price of bitcoin on 1 January 2018 is bitcoin will be diharga $8000-$ 12000. So if we want to get a lot of advantage then would be far better to save your bitcoin awhile or maybe if it still has enough funds doing the purchase is a good way. But one thing we do have to understand about the rise and decline of the bitcoin also, that if we just think of the benefits that can be obtained in the bitcoin it isn't the exact steps to do. for everything will certainly make you being someone who is bad
 

I'd say under $4000. Anything over $3000 would still be a great year for Bitcoin.

Can we see from before, bitcoin prices continue to rise.
the previous month bitcoin price in January reached the range of 12jt and to this day bitcoin prices are still increasing rapidly.
In early January, bitcoin prices will rise again and many rumors say that by early January the bitcoin price forecast will reach 100j on every single coin, as early as 2018.

this is very hard to figure because this might be a kind of bubble in bitcoin at the moment.
after this 2X fork the price might fall back again.
it is easy to see how it can reach much higher though in todays rise.

When bitcoin experience BTG forking, they did not dump just like when BCH first forking, bitcoin value getting dump afterward.
So IMO bitcoin will keep stable and have uptrend so there is a chance that bitcoin will reach another highest value ( $ 7000 ~ $ 8000 )

maybe when seen again to reach $ 10,000 by the end of the year it's still very difficult. I do not know why I'm not so sure after bitcoin segWit2x will grow quickly like that. maybe if the year-end price is below than $ 10,000 I would believe. maybe even January will not reach up to $ 10,000. we'll see later at the end of the year until January 2018.

The fact is that to date, each plug could bring a certain profit for each Bitcoin holder. In this or that case, every Bitcoin counterpart has a price. And even if you do not eat that price for the future, you can still sell it and earn on it. But nevertheless, all these fluctuations in prices affect the overall popularity of the crypto currency.

Jan 1, assuming the hard fork doesn't hurt the value a bunch, I think it'll be between 9000 and 10,000.

I would be wishing to go with the 8k USD in the month of January. Whenever the hard fork done on the bitcoin or its splitted coins you may find the bitcoin price dumps in the chart.
If you hold the bitcoins without any fear in that time means also you no need to worry about that time and hold the bitcoin for sometime. That will boom again.
when the bitcoin value stable in the sense everyone will be happy to invest the amount to buy more.

Considering that the trend of Bitcoin currently is beautifully upward, the price at the beginning of the year 2018 would be very promising. If ever Bitcoin continues this trend, we might see Bitcoin at the range between 7500 and 8000 USD. This is very possible since Bitcoin is currently closing in to the 7000 dollar mark. If it goes under correction, recovery won't be so difficult.

I think the possible price of bitcoin in the month of januray 2018 is 8k dollars or 9k dollars thats my own prediction.
I hope it will happen so we can make more profit . So its better to buy bitcoin now and hd it for few months.

On 1 Jan 2018 the price will be around  $ 12,000 Yes US Dollars not Zimbabwe Dollars because the rate at which the people are attracting to it and more and more people are getting knowledge of it the more it will grow.
You can expect that in 2018 BTC will be the most sought after asset as every one would want to have it as an investment.
I can see this that average people are asking more and more about bitcoin and many are intrested to even buy it for their future.
People are going for a million satoshi even if they have a small amount to invest.

probably around $ 8000, or even higher. bitcoin prices really can not be predicted, even I think that the price almost reached $ 7000 by the end of the year. but, at this time the price is almost $ 7000, and probably will continue to grow.

Bitcoin price without doubt would be higher than 7000$ if upward trend continues in the same pace until the nend of the year. If things goes the other way around, then bitcoin price might go down lower than 5700$ if it the upward trend will come to an end that is very unlikely considering mass adoption of btc as well as crypto is happening now. That being said, I hope the the former speculation will come true and not the latter.
