Send us the transaction id and we can take a look at it you probably didn't seen enough of a fee. You can try the free miner accelerators over at the services forum.

The fee was slightly low so could possibly be the reason for the delay.
At the time of the transaction, you paid approximately 41 satoshi/byte. You can view live fee charts for evaluating fees when sending transactions here: https://bitcoinfees.earn.com
It's estimated to start confirming within 23 blocks or so.
Hope this helps :)

I updated my post above to give a very basic explanation why this is.
In terms of the time it would take is hard to say. It depends on how long it would take to find each of the next '23' blocks. The time in between each block found can vary quite significantly.
Your best bet is to just wait. If it's really urgent then you could try using a transaction accelerator.

Yes, this is one of the characteristics of Bitcoin. Because now the block is too congested. 13 hours is not particularly long, I once again blocked more than 24 hours before the account.
Especially in the previous few days when the fork, block congestion is particularly serious, we still avoid some of the time better.
In addition, if not necessarily have to use Bitcoin, in fact, with ETH, LTC these are relatively fast!

Nothing strange in this, you send 0.016 BTC worth more then 100$ and pay less then 1$ fee for that so your transaction is stuck just because of low fee and poor timing. If you use some wallet like Electrum there is option to resend transaction with higher fee,and you can also try to use ViaBTC to speed up transaction.

We need a lot more guys/gals like you around here.... A small gesture like this goes a long way to improve Bitcoin's reputation

amongst all those people complaining about the delays and the miners being greedy. OP, this is definitely not a normal situation,

because I have done several tx's lately with the minimum fee and it all got confirmed within 30 minutes.  :P

Thank you for your good service ---> blockman

I am sorry for being harsh but the issue is based on your rank, you obviously know what went wrong and that is unconnected with the fees. You also know that there are acceleration services that can ensure that transactions are confirmed fast so far you are ready to pay for their service.

Aside that, I am sure this wont be the first time you will be carrying out a transaction like this and no issue whatsoever but because this turn out to be something not going your way, the best way out is to create a thread for that purpose. Depending on the wallet services you are using I am sure they would have suggested the right fees to use but you might choose to ignore them.

I just found it out a weeks ago about that free transaction accelerator so whenever I see someone that is struggling like this, it's nothing unusual if few seconds of my time will be used for just copy pasting the TXID and pressing the accelerate button. Thanks for appreciating my simple act guys.

how many fee do you use in sending transaction? If you use low fee this would take some time to be confirmed. See recommended miner fee here https://bitcoinfees.21.co/. For now had you tried https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ for accelerating your transaction. This may help for your fast confirmed.

And what are more tx accelerators going to solve?
Let's assume every tx will be accelerated....
It will just mean that everyone will wait their turn to get their accelerated transaction into he block , accelerating means somebody is trying to cut in , when we all do this we will end up in the same queue.

We need either more space in the blocks / faster blocks or start using segwit transactions.

If you do try out to see the tx hash which is 218b2bc26e973eecae4ae721519da5347fbbc774618d569f16126faa00a3be84 you would able to see that he did put 41 sat.byte which we do see that it is very low and expect miners wont really easily considered those transactions  and as ive seen it is still unconfirmed as of now and theres no even a single confirmations. No one could say on when it would push through.

Damn man, you're legendary you should be used to how it works ^^

Sure it can take some times... Yeah we know that btc is slow and all that stuff...
But truth is that you've sent only 16 mBTC so even if that's a bit of money (nearly 100$ in fact) that's a really low amount in btc.
Stop sending small transaction of few mbtc and you'll have no trouble ;)

Before you say that they are legendary and why does not know basic transaction of bitcoin. First, you think and search whether issue has been solved or not.
I checked and see the transaction has been confirmed and he states that thank you information as a image and text in this thread. I hope op could lock this thread now.

your fee is too low for that big of a transaction. Try checking the recomemded fees at bitcoinfees21.co (they are accurate with the fees).  You can use some free transaction acceleration sevices here on the forum bro.

Ok, cheers.
As much as I dislike the fork coins, this isn't the worst idea ever.  In fact, it probably
would have been better had you sent any other altcoin, including a silly coin like doge.  Your
money would have arrived far quicker than 18 hours.  It's an unfortunate truth.  And I think
that as bitcoin keeps making new all time highs, the network fees are going to start becoming
out of reach for the poor folks that bitcoin is most important to.  How utterly ironic, eh?  So
maybe it is time we all considered using altcoins when we need to get funds to someone fairly
quickly.

This is not the ideal solution, but it will help some people when they get stuck for hours. The 2x supporters are most probably

spamming the network again, hoping people will think SegWit is shit. I cannot wait for LN to whip these guys ass, because

I am sick of these spammers and their stupid strategy to sabotage the network to push their agenda.  >:(
