Title: Bitcoin going on fire!
Post by: puremage111 on November 02, 2017, 11:46:19 AM
MYGOD

I am looking at Bitmex chart, Bitcoin is WILDRAGING FIRE GUYS! The green bar just go higher and higher. Peaked at $7400, and it is back to $6900.

To be honest i am happy this happens, because IMO if one coins just keep going up without stopping. When crashes happen, it will crash it to very low price because it does not create a support line

What you mean by crash?

I think it is not good if BTC will crash after such a rally.

It is better that new money will stay in BTC, so than other coins could go up soon and folow BTC. Whole cryptomarket is a winner when BTC is going to the moon.

Yes it is a raging fire just like the hulk in Thor Ragnarok Spoiler Alert, It is like a Raging Fire it keeps on going up and uncertain if it will continue to do so up to the impending conclusion of a hard fork, well if you had said that it reach the $7400 mark value and goes down I didn't see that at all well that was a fast one pump and dip action for bitcoin, but I think there is certain people that sell or converted their coins.

This is crazy. My alts dropped 20% each just in one hour :'( Hope they will recover soon.
Does anybody know exact reasons for such pump?

It will surely crash, but i don't think BTC will crash very low. Altcoins value won't succeed to return as after the Bitcoin Gold fork i think. It will be a little like after Bitcoin Gold. Bitcoin didn't crash very much. But i may be wrong too.

A crash is likely and one has already happened but bitcoin seems so resilient and bullish at the moment that it would not surprise me if this continued all the way up to 10k. For alts it would surely be beneficial is bitcoin stabilised instead of crashing so the money can safely flow in to alts without much shock to the markets.

What is the 'very low price' you speak of? I would be very surprised to see bitcoin anywhere near to 5k with how it's been moving and for me above 5k is still a very high price when put in to context of the price only a month or so ago.

You will be terrified to see my alt portfolio! I was already so down last two weeks when they went down more than 50%. Recovery happened after a few days, but well, you can see now that Bitcoin has reached an incredible new high and my alts are worse off than before haha. I really have to try to stop looking at them since I made a clear decision to just hold until they go bust or they somehow catch up. But hey, on the bright side, I have still more or less same fiat value.

Maybe we should not be surprised if Bitcoin crashes the 10k party earlier than 2018,,,

It's more like everyone be saying the same thing. Portfolios be dropping value and bitcoin is  skyrocketing. The painful thing is selling part of my bitcoin few weeks ago if only I had envisaged this boom I'd have waited.

My alts is also bleeding. If the btc price doesn't go down before segwit 2x i will liquidate all of my alts positions. If that happens, btc will go up to 10,000 USD mark or higher.

BTC is on fire , agreed,  but till, when next hard fork is not published like BTG. when that fork get launched, automatically BTC rates will go down, and thats the reason why all alt coins are going down.

I agree that Bitcoin $ 7400 then $ 6900 is good. It can not increasing without decreasing. Bitcoin prices should be adjusted accordingly so that it does not collapse. In fact, I think Bitcoin is hardly going to collapse. However, it needs to slow down.

Title: Re: Bitcoin going on fire!
Post by: krypt0n1 on November 02, 2017, 02:18:30 PM
Yes, it is increasing at an unhealthy and unsustainable rate. I'm not saying it shouldn't keep increasing but it needs to consolidate and establish more supports on the way up. That way, when there is a selloff, it's pullback won't have such a large impact on the entire market.

It is really on fire which bitcoin price is currently increasing.Bitcoin probably will go down after this segwit. So some can buy bitcon and hold for long term.

That's why to trade the bitcoin right now is very risky. The fact that bitcoin becomes a trend for every trades about the latest bitcoin news. It seems a lot of people are gaining momentum about the future of the bitcoin to built its trust for the wall street investors, There is no support line. if there is a little dump and another people will be following it and make it so hard to be prevented by the support line.
The altcoin trends will come after the bitcoin hardfork. that's my opinion about that.

There should be a value correction soon.

Will it be before the fork or after?

How much do you think you can correct (in%)?

yes off course bitcoin is on fire but still according to bitcoin still the rate is low the interest of people is going increasing more and more and people are investing in bitcoin with a very high speed and in future we can expect the rate of bitcoin at least 30k$ in coming year very soon.

With this kind of craziness i think i´m going to prepare buy orders at the 3k mark after the fork... Someone was saying its crashing to 2-3k level on other thread, i had doubts about it , but with this kind of crazy jump without support as said earlier people will take profit and some "panic" selling could follow. If it does, buying will be a must!

I think since the $5000 psychological barrier has been removed the next price should be $10k, I believe soon it will hit that level, I don't understand where the money is coming from because the China influence is no more there unlike last year

BTC isn't going to crash to a very low point. It will correct sometime very soon, but I don't think it will drop very much.

I am hoping the correction helps to increase the value of some of my alts that have started dipping over the past few weeks.

In any event, I believe this is GREAT for the crypto community as a whole. I am sure BTC will be worth 15k plus by the end of next year -- and that is good for pretty much everyone here.

In 2 weeks time BTC will crash pretty badly. SegWit 2X and SegWit 1X BTC will battle out as only one of them can stay alive as none of them has Emergency Difficulty Adjustment (EDA) unlike BitcoinCash. Unless one of the side willing to compromise and adopt EDA, it is possible BitcoinCash will be the happy winner of this war.

It is not possible for the price of bitcoin to keep going up and up without a pull back and vice versa. When bitcoin cross $7000 this afternoon I told my friend that a correction is underway and in reality bitcoin price can not continue going up and the momentum has started reducing. The macd has started to show that there are many sellers and few buyers remain in the market. Since the peaked is at $7400 we expect a correction's  line between $6500 and $7500.

You cannot know if it created a support line along $6,000-7,000 because we're still sitting on those line. So it's not finalized yet. We can sit around the line for more weeks and it creates the support line.

That is why we need to brace ourselves for that possibility. But I think there will be no hard crash that will follow. The surge of Bitcoin's value right now is brought to us by the upcoming hard fork this coming November. That is enough basis for the very steep climbing. There will for sure some downs. That is expected. But it will definitely not a crash that goes very deep.

Btc will surely go a steady rise because more and more influential people are talking about it like a free advertisement for btc. The more the hype, the more investors will come in. If it will crash, surely not this year or the next. Let's wait until another cryptocurrency comes in, then btc will have something to crash about, if that is at all possible.

Very low price might depends on how the support line will be.

Lets say the previous price ATH were $5,000, which dropped to $3,000. The $3,000 is now the support and it has built a foundation there where if it fall below the "X" level, it will have more people buying it.

Same to the current price. ATH of $7,400. It goes back and hang within $6,800-$6,900. Then there will be a Support and resistance within it.

Imagine if it just pump, all the way without dropping until Segwit2X Snapshot. It will have a heavily dump because no-one know where exact the support price of it should be

Jumped into train in time to make some money of it. On the other hand, dominance of ~61% isn't as good as current price. Cryptoworld isn't as decentralized as it should be. Thats a pity, but cryptoboss becomes a threat to the whole ecosystem.

Bitcoin is in a strong uptrend because it is currently the center of attention of investors. Bitcoin prices will continue to increase in the coming time and then will reduce. Within 3 years I think a bitcoin can cost $ 50000. I believe in this.

A coin usually dumps if it goes upwards too quickly. It is quite obvious that Bitcoin is taking the same route of going upwards in a short time and a dump is quite expected if it happens at all. It can't be predicted in the case of Bitcoin when we can see the dump. May be there will be chances for a dump right after the fork since people will be moving to Alts because of it's low prices. Chances are there that Bitcoin will suffer from a correction and then increase in price steadily since I have got to know that big whales are investing in BTC these days.

I know but it will recover quickly i think because of the support it gets. Bitcoin is also a trusted coin so it will not fall easily to 5k. I think it will fall to 6k in the near future and it will be back to 7k.

I hope that the fire continues to 8 or even 10k. I will make good profit then.

The price of bitcoin has crossed $7000 and the line will grow up day by day which is having negative affect on other altcoins price as they are going down but November segwit2x will have a great affect on BTC price as it may crash as segwit2x is gaining supporters.

You are are happy it is peaking like this or that it will come crashing back down? I think you are right in the assessment that there wont be strong support at any level and as a result it can pile back down to ~5k. I dont see it

not sure until the end of the year but until the end of the fork should be better than year. and why it caused by those will not receive the more fork coin again after 2x segwit fork so, i just think the dip will come.

One option we can do is to sell Bitcoin at this time to be able to get big profits. but when we want to try to take risks in order to get a much higher price then Holding is one alternative. I personally believe that bitcoin prices will not stop increasing. There are still plenty of opportunities to see much higher bitcoin prices.

Does anyone else often think of the guy who bought 2 pizzas for 20k BTC when looking at the price? I can just imagine if I was him how disappointed I'd be. But I'm disappointed anyway I didn't put at least $10 into it in its early days.
