Title: Ethereum coins - Too late?
Post by: yescopyleftsounds on November 02, 2017, 04:54:00 PM
Is it too late to get started with this coin? I'm curious as I see it has been fairly profitable over the few days

I'd love to hop on the bandwagon.

Actually, it's a great time to buy any altcoin as they're all on discount 8)

Ethereum is also one of the top 10 coin by marketcap so when all this hype over bitcoin fork will be over, people will quickly move their bitcoin into alts mostly into alts that have good daily trading volume and marketcap.

ETH, LTC, ETC, XMR are few that can fly within few minutes or hours after fork.

It is the best time to buy now because the price is somehow low and there are many discounts. I can see a potential in this coin in the future, you just have to be patient. I like ethereum because it has a faster transaction time and lower transaction fee. I believe it's price will grow much someday.

I think you shouldn't waste your time and invest on ETH, total number of ICOs that are using ETH are growing so it's popularity is growing. Don't forget investing on ICOs too. There are a lot of ICOs that have potential. you can research and find the good one.

If you are taking about Bitcoin dominance increasing, I don't think it means alts are at a discount. It could very well be the case that alts were overvalued in the past. That golden age might never return.

I suppose you mean general ethereum tokens. It is THE BEST time to buy more altcoins right now. Bitcoin hits all time high means it may drop and burn so quickly, so investors will follow altcoin pump.

Well I participated in the ICO but to say it will become bigger than bitcoin, nah.. no way. I see it as a top5 coin though depending on how well they can reach people with their products and services.

It is never late to buy some of the best coins on the market. The right time comes whenever you decide to join. Especially, if you do that during the price drop and ethereum is actually not even close to its peak currently (which is $400+), so I suggest you to join if you believe in this coin and if you are planning to invest long-term. If not - I guess you should wait till more miners realize that current mining conditions are not profitable and then the price might go down even more.

In fact, if you already had ethereum, you are now losing. The price increase of bitcoins is bringing altcoins down. So, it is a good time to buy altcoins. Although ethereum is dropping, it's better to hold. Ethereum is strong enough and will get back in short period of time.

Bitcoin hits high means it just make one step forward, and it can make a lot of it one after one. So investing in alts now is about 40/60, New investors in crypto at first invests in BTC, and only after that start to search for alts and ICO

Altcoins are dropping so this is definitely a good time to buy all these ERC token you think will be growing big one day. But this is also if you are willing to risk the profit you will be receiving by holding BTC. I have been regretting already why I didn't dump some tokens for BTC. AT the same time though I'm still wanting to keep few altcoins.

No.  Its not to late. After months of intense growth, Ether has hit a wall and flatlined.
There's still opportunity for its growth, but also doubt as it works out its future uses; Proof of Stake, EEA, transaction speeds.
Other tokens and coins will influence the price of ETH; and right now is influencing it toward the negative.
Anyone that’s being attentive in the cryptocurrency space lately knows about Ethereum—or its tradable coins, Ether. It’s become a sturdy second-place name after Bitcoin, and though it hasn’t reached the broader popularity of the other (still synonymous with crypto in full), it’s got a large community that’s growing by the day.

And for good reason. In the last three months, ETH is trading at 600% of its early April-price, and was at 10x when ETH approached $400 in late June.

After months of intense growth, however, it’s stabilized and experienced its most significant drop in value (per ETH and market cap) in its entire history.

Yet, new speculative investors are hearing about Ethereum, Bitcoin, and other coins, by the day (one popular trading platform said it had a million new users sign up in June). So, is it too late to hop on and earn from an Ether investment?

No, it’s not.

But I think the days of growth that ETH saw in May and June are not going to be coming anytime soon.

Ethereum was one of the most profitable cryptocurrency and every successful business must accept debt. However, last month seems to be bad month for Ethereum so far cause there was a lot dip in price Ethereum than the pump in price but this is a best chance to buy

apparently not one I miscalculated with the fact that on time did not sell all the coins in favor of Bitcoin. It had to be done before the next fork, so I will not miss the next one.

Etherum is a very good altcoin. It has increased many times over the past year. Currently I think it is time to invest in ETH, because bitcoin is pumping heavily, the altcoin is down, this is a chance to buy cheap ETH. ICO projects are mostly ERC20 so buying ETH for ICO investment is very reasonable.

Ethereum has got a good market potential and people are wanted to buy them. They are giving good profits out of it. As far as profits are concern i don't think that it is too late now. It's price is not that high and one can afford them if he/she wanted to invest for long term investment. It is very profitable just grab that chance.

I think that ETH will move up in price but more money people will make in another alts.
ETH is quite high if you compare it to where it was year before.
ETH tokens will bleed it out faster and couse some problems in future.
Scaling will be sooner issue bugs may apear and blow up something.

Forme better is to invest if I have to in some other coins like EOS LIS STR those one which will fall most.
ETH is not that far away of its ATH. And token are slowly running out of cash.

No it is not too late.  Every coin is invest-able and could possible give you good gains.  If you are looking for 1000x to 10000x gains, then possibly it would be too late.  I would just some money weekly into a coin and who knows, maybe in 5 years, you could retire early.

And of course it's not too late to start with coins investment right now. The crypto market is still very small in comparison with the stock markets, for example, and all the interesting things ahead, I'm sure.

Not too late to hop into the Ethereum bandwagon. This is a long term coin. There is no chance that this coin will end up a trash. You know how the big names behind this coin are genius enough to let it grow. But alongside Ethereum, you should also invest in some other altcoins that are very cheap especially as of the moment. The bullish Bitcoin rush has caused a massive dip in the prices of almost all altcoins. Buy some of these as well.

As we know, ETH is trailing by BTC for so many reasons yet ETH is widely used by ICOs today as their tokens run in Ethereum platform. That's maybe the reason why its value is climbing on top too. So i think jumping on the bandwagon to be an ETH fan is a good idea.

It's a bit late to buy Ethereum, but is it too late, the answer is no. If you want to participate in any ICOs, buy ETH whenever you spot a dip in the marketprice.

I do think there are some better altcoins right now with better prices, especially since the market has dipped to the upcoming bitcoin fork. Have you considered CVC or OMG?

And why do you only talk about Ethereum and ERC20 tokens? It's not too late to invest in Bitcoin also. Of course, it's not the best time to do it right now, before hardfork, but after that it is possible to catch a window of opportunity for investment in it. Because I'm sure BTC is not on its all time high now and will reach new heights prices in the future.

it was profitable only if you were shorting ETH, because the price of it has been falling constantly for a long time now.

and to answer your main question i have to say, no it is not too late to make profit from ethereum. this coin is one of the biggest pump and dump coins of the decade and it is not going anywhere this soon. you just have to find a better timing.
for example an excellent time was before the first pump. then you should have stayed away until the dump was finished and price reached 0.007 then invested. now is the same as the first pump. you should stay away until the dump is finished and then invest and enjoy the big pump of it.

Is it too late to get started with this coin? I'm curious as I see it has been fairly profitable over the few days

I'd love to hop on the bandwagon.
Even though this is late but this is a nice in crypto market. Dont wasted time if you know the price is low. Just grab it now.

Ethereum has been pumping good in the past few days and I think this coin will go further in the future though it increases rapidly I believe anytime is still a best time to invest on it for a long term purpose. I can see that the future of most cryptos will be nice and successful especially now that there's a lot of advertisement about digital currencies and some countries start to legalize bitcoin and full adaptation in their market.

The perspectives of Etherium are great. Maybe it's not the most profitable coin right now but it's definitely a good quiet harbor nowadays with all this shit around Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash

Think about what a long road bitcoin has had, you are asking if eth will make you rich in what a few months? Expand the same question for 4years and what do you think now?

All these movements with bitcoin and his clones will soon cease and attention will again shift to altcoyins. Therefore Ethereum will continue to enjoy well-deserved demand. Now is the time to buy altcoyins, until they began to grow in price.

I think it's never too late to buy ethereum. ethereum is good for long term investment. the price is good also but when I want to buy more I will wait until the price less than $300 for now (like $295-$299).

Just my thinking, ETH always stuck at $300~ rate and it's kinda bugging me why it's never either gets pumped or dumped, the level of volatility in this coin is just too stable for a cryptocurrency while bitcoin
get pumped or dumped so hard even with few times biggest market capitalization. It's the community that wants it to be stagnant or just the market consider ETH as ordinary currency to invest into ICO "only"?

In my opinion, It is too late to invest in altcoins now. ETH is not a bad choice. But I think that in short-term, Its price can't over $350. You should choose another coin to buy. BCH is an example.

For me, it's not yet too late to invest in Ethereum price is still affordable. I dont want to invest in BCH because possibly you will lose to ride in this train. Bch already pump at its peak price, so I'd rather invest in Ethereum than bch because I believe on etherum capable to rise the price that will skyrocket.

if you buy ethereum now then you can expecting to see the price is increase high and you can make a huge profit from ethereum. i think the price is still in lower price and once the price is increase, then it will increase higher so you can sell your ethereum and make a profit. i still holding my ethereum because i am believe that ethereum can increase for a long term because there are many coins that is base on ethereum. and i think ethereum is one of the good coins that will give us profitable for a long run.

I think not late, Ethereum have good and strong in fundamental to bring the price going up. The price can be reach to $1,000 in the future. Because this coin as smart contract that use many third party that will increase the demand, and also the founder Vitalik Buterin also jenius who always want to looking for new idea to more development of Ethereum so will more usefull for blockchain community.

My friend, buy Ethereum or  change your altcoins (some of them, sure) for this cryptocurrency. ETH will soon show its growth. Its capitalization is still grate, but it might increase in the nearest future. IMHO!

In these days, the price fluctuation of ETH will continue, and there will be a large fluctuation, just a person guess. You'll find that the BTC is in the adjustment phase, so most of the altcoin prices are starting to perk up, and the bigger the value of the altcoin, the bigger the volatility, especially the ETH.Seize the opportunity

Ethereum is surely an undervalued coin. I would say now is definitely a good time to buy it. Literally the whole crypto world is working on ETH based tokens these days. I see ETH at at least $1000 by next 2 quarters, because of it's usefulness in the crypto world.

I don't think you are too late at all on the ethereum bandwagon. I believe that this coin will continue it's rise to power and will remain the second most talked about cryptocurrency. Still lots of room for value to increase in my opinion!! Good Luck!

It sure is the right time to buy ethereum now. Altcoins will go up, at least some of them will. We've seen Dash go up significantly these days. Ethereum is very stable at the moment and will surely go up. Now is the time to get Ethereum and hold for a longer period of time. It will be profitable for sure.

may not be a good time but it is not to late if you have some money to buy some eth then go for it,when you say good time this is much probably that you can afford to buy that coin it is in a low price but if really want it then buy this eth for you to have it and tell that it is not to late for you to have this.

All popular altcoins like ethereum is still not reaching it's highest price and like bitcoin, it will make histories in the next few years. You are lucky because it's very cheap now.
